Fantastic experience: An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Their online learning section was a regular learning experience, sitting down and watching videos with quizzes at the end, and somewhat monotonous (as most rote learning is). The hands-on learning section, however, was great. Each teacher had a different style, but all of them wanted me to succeed as best I can. Some were friendly and forgiving while others were strict and instructive. They told me details and small things I could do to make driving both safer and more comfortable. The services this company gave were impeccable, answering questions and even going above-and-beyond to ensure that my experiences in both driving and at the DPS would be as smooth as possible. Truly a great experience, which I will surely recommend to anyone who asks.

Fantastic experience: I will be adding a picture I hope my daughter takes on her next drive to prepare finally for her test! I would definitely recommend this school. She had a wonderful and fun instructor named Jake. He had her excited to tell me all they had done and what she learned. She drives better and even more confident after one lesson. Plus, working on her weaknesses. He immediately updated me on his thoughts and her drive. Great instructor! The staff! Administration staff is extremely professional and will return calls when you leave messages if they are not available. The site was a breeze. For booking… Wendy reached out to assist when I had a few problems. Took care of it all in minutes. Richard (I hope I’m saying his name correctly) assisted after hours literally for rescheduling. Renee and Blessy (staff members) assisted me with questions & concerns immediately. Again, I will recommend.

Fantastic experience: Safeway Driving is a fantastic school! The staff is always courteous and ready to help with all your inquiries. The drivers made learning fun. Scheduling drive times was never an issue for us because we started a year out so if we had to skip a week it wasn’t a problem. We will be back for our last two children! Thank you for all of your support in helping our children obtain their drivers licenses.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! The instructors were all amazing, and the online class was go at your own pace. Everyone is patient, polite, and understanding. As a 29-year-old, I felt embarrassed not having my license; however, they made me feel right at home and gave me the instruction that I desperately needed. I was wary at first, but I don't think you can find a better driving school who prioritizes safety above all anywhere else in the state. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience today with both my driving assessor and the community in the Safeway office! They had offered me doughnuts just as we came in and were extremely efficient around setting up for the test. Not to mention the actual test itself, my assessor helped me stay calm and collected. Overall, I could not suggest a better place to come and do your test!

Fantastic experience: Out of all the driving schools in Houston, Safeway Katy stands out the most in terms of service, options, quality and customer experience. Been in the US for a short time trying to find a school and at this location the staff (Alandra and Blessie) along with Renee helped a lot in terms of providing options and trying to accommodate us. Considering all of the circumstances which made the booking hard and inconvenient the staff managed to accommodate us and help us through a very long process. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for helpful information, services and for good instruction.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used Safeway for both of my children. They are very professional and more than willing to work with your needs. We had an awkward situation with my second son as he started driving school only 4 months before his 18th birthday. They researched and figured out that he could test with them but only on his 18th birthday. I thought I had made the appointment but I didn’t finish making it. They were very kind and bent over backwards to get him tested on the day, even though they were already booked. If I had more kids I’d certainly enroll them in Safeway for drivers education.

Fantastic experience: Upon entering Safeway Driving, I found such Professional, Kind and Informative Ladies - which is the first impression of any business. However, the instructor "Jack" who took my baby driving sealed this experience! He truly taught her; gave her precise road knowledge and taught her confidence in Safe Road behavior. Safeway Driving is undoubtedly focused on producing drivers that reflect the same exhibited behaviors. My baby is now a Licensed Safeway Driver!

Blessie the Manager is awesome and is always willing to help with the scheduling and ensuring that we know what is needed for the driving lessons and driving test. All the instructors have been great and easily approachable. The instructors always tell me how my child did after every lesson. Alandra was helpful with getting our paperwork for DPS and helped my child feel more comfortable before their exam. Ali was an amazing examiner and ensured my child was held accountable for any of their mistakes. Would recommend having every teen take the course here!
