Negative experience: Waste of money. My son had 3 lessons, which were supposed to include some highway driving. He said they never went on a highway. Several times the instructor fell asleep while my son was driving. He also said it was hard to understand the instructor.

Fantastic experience: Best $700 I’ve ever spent. I purchased the 3 lessons and road test package for my daughter to help her get her license. Michael did an excellent job teaching her to become a competent new driver. She passed on the first try!

Fantastic experience: Great overall experience with Mike. Very professional and friendly!!!

Negative experience: My daughter had 8 hours of instruction at the Lansdale location which went great and was told she was eligible to take the road test. The road test was in a different car with a different instructor, and in a different location. The instructor noticed she was shaking and proceeded to ask if my daughter was sure she knew what she was doing, then asked if my daughter was sure she had lessons. My daughter read into the instructors demeanor immediately and knew she wasn’t going to pass because of her initial critical commentary and additional constant criticisms throughout the whole test. I can’t see anyone performing as usual under perceived duress. The pairing magnified each others fears, which the instructor should know better being they are in a position to give confidence not tear it down. Still shocked it happened.

Fantastic experience: Mike was such an amazing driving instructor! As someone who waited to get their license until nineteen, I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Mike was patient and kind, and curated a personalized lesson to help me feel more comfortable on the road. Would definitely recommend to any first-time drivers out there!

Negative experience: A year ago the first instructor fell asleep during my daughter’s first 2 hour lesson. He also had her drive to his house which freaked her out. So we called and changed to a different instructor who was a lot better. This year we paid for 6 hours of instruction for my next teen and they could not schedule the last 2 hours so we ended up not able to get the last two hour session that we paid for. The second session of driving they cut short by 30 minutes! We paid for two hours and they only drove 1.5 hours total. Last year the driving test for my daughter was so easy and the instructor helped a guided. No issues. This year we got someone who seemed shaky and hung over and in a very bad mood from the start. Just angry for no reason. A very different experience from only one year ago. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very inconsistent with their office, scheduling and you never know who you are going to get. Bad experience overall. Not worth the crazy amount of money we spent!

Negative experience: driving instructor was a terrible person, a hole to my mom, I passed but old grumpy dude should not be an instructor, no clue what he’s doing at all.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Blue Bell Driving School.  I originally paid for my son to get lessons at another local driving school but switched to Blue Bell because it is much more accommodating.  Fran really worked with me to find availability for lessons with my son's busy schedule.  The owner who gave my son lessons prepared my son for the driving test. He reinforced the rules of the road, he was hands-on, and he made sure my son had all of the skills necessary to pass his test and be a confident driver.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get my Drivers License the second time taking the driver test. I was confident and happy with the instructor. I got my License in 2020

Fantastic experience: Mike is an amazing teacher. He is kind, patient and worked so well with my son. He is so conscientious and really works with each child at their level. It was the best investment made that my son was taught how to drive properly. Thanks Mike!!!

Fantastic experience: I had Mike as my driving instructor and he was amazing. I feel perfectly prepared for my test now, and from lesson one, he showed me where I can improve and build up to where I am now by chopping lessons into pieces. Great job Mike!

Fantastic experience: We hired Michael through Blue Bell Driving for lessons for our daughter. He was great! She was anxious and he was able to teach her the skills she needed to gain confidence behind the wheel. When we’re driving now, she’ll mention something he taught her-he really knows his stuff and how to teach these young drivers!

Fantastic experience: Mike is genuinely one of the most patient and kind people I have ever met. Driving instructors are a different breed, I swear. Before I started driving lessons, I was on the verge of giving up. I had no idea what else I could do to curb my horrible driving skills. (Funnily enough, I’ve never actaully hit a curb). My parents certainly didn't know what to do. Neither of them wanted to try and teach me again, only to have another heart attack. I'd taken so long with driving practice, that I had to get my permit renewed and start all over again. Because of that, most of my peers had already gotten their licenses, making me feel even more hopeless. That's when my parents finally had enough and decided to get me driving lessons. And boy were they worth the two-thousand one hundred and thirty-five dollars (or something along those lines). Mike is a miracle worker. That's why I like to call him "Magic Mike". (At least I would, I've never actually called him that outloud, not would I, especially to his face). He is astoundingly calm, and collected, especially considering the circumstances I put him through. I can tell he's been at this game for a longgg time, but I swear you could swerve left and right in a panic at every intersection and he'd calmly correct you and say "okay, so that was the wrong thing to do," every time. All in all, ten outta ten driving instructor. Would 100% do again, except I wouldn’t, because that driving test was terrifying. I cried afterward. (Not clickbait)! But, he managed to get me through it, and I can confidently say I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for his help and instruction. (Which is on the road, except not at the current moment, because that would be dangerous, and not what Mike taught me). Fantastic experience: We're so glad we went to Blue Bell Driving School to finish up our son's driving education. We really wanted an experienced instructor and the safety features of their cars to introduce driving on highways and major roadways. Michael was a great instructor, always on time, professional, and provided us with feedback after each lesson. He covered everything. We plan on doing their program again with Michael for our next learner.

Fantastic experience: Ok so where do I begin....I haven't driven really in over 20 years and with limited time on road when I was, over the years of my life I have had many obstacles in my life that prevented me from getting my license ....anywhere from being a care giver and just time got the best of me. Well I was given the opportunity to get a car for free but just need a license so I could finally move forward because the past 20 years I was a part time care giver (taking care of my grandmother who was 104 and just passed away and my father who had an accident right before covid and lost most of his mobility among other health issues he is dealing with. ....But fast forwarding up to present....I recently finally after all this time got my permit and started driving classes at Blue bell driving school. MY first initial experience started off rocky with the first initial instructor....but shortly later I was given the best instructor suited for me. His name was Mike and was very kind and patient and understanding. When I drove with him I didn't feel uncomfortable...he made me believe in myself that I could do it and focused on just what I needed to know to make sure I was an excellent driver and help rebuild my confidence in myself. I even mastered the part of his coarse that had many sharp turns as well as every time goin out i mastered driving in inclement weather and trash day......Not only is he amazing instructor but he is also a great musician who plays and teaches drums. I would recommend Mike to anyone who would want to learn to drive as for there children who want an amazing instructor. I thank you so much and thank u for giving me the confidence that I needed to pass my driving exam.....you are definitely a blessing to your students.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Mike. I’m an adult driver and I was really worried about how long it would take me to learn. I got my license after 3 2 hour lessons plus a couple hours of practicing on my own.

Fantastic experience: I just recently ended my lessons and could not be happier. Michael was my instructor and was extremely calm and helpful. I had my second lesson on December 6th but hadn’t had one since March…I wasn’t too comfortable being in a car but Michael and I went into neighborhood and I got back into the hang of things. After about 20 minutes we slowly started inching out on the street and little by little I was able to fully drive. I drove for about thirty minutes on the road and was feeling so much more confident. I truly believe it’s because Michael was very calm and reassured me that I could do it. I had my last lesson on December 7th and by that time I was driving to the area we would be practicing at. We did parallel parking and regular parking and Michael gave me lots of good tips to help me tackle parallel parking. He also gave me a lot of good pointers and things to note for my driving test. Huge thank you to Michael for taking me through this!

Fantastic experience: Michael Klova helped my 16yr old son pass his driving test the first try at the beginning of the summer this year. Mike did a great job with all 6 two hour sessions. He was very accommodating to our schedule. My son was very comfortable with his time behind the wheel with Mike. I am able to put my feet up at night and watch the Phillies game comfortably knowing that my new teenage driver has the skills and knowledge he needs to be safe.

Negative experience: This place is a trap, FRAUD ALERT! The receptionist was very disorganized and didn’t tell me my credit card will be changed upon scheduling and there would be no refund. After I had to cancel well in advance due to scheduling conflicts, they still charged my card and would not issue a refund upon my request. Looks like they did this to multiple customers after reading the reviews (wish I had read the reviews earlier!!). Filed disputes and will file a claim with FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection.

Fantastic experience: I have not gotten my license as young as most people do. I have felt very behind and overly-dependent on others, so I decided it was time to finally push myself and learn to drive, even if it would be stressful. So I finally went ahead and bought three two-hour driving lessons from Blue Bell, since my brother would be using them and his friends had used them and had success. Mike did a great job during the three lessons I had with him. The first couple lessons were fairly stressful, but Mike did a good job of slowly introducing me to more difficult things. We started in a parking lot on the first day, and then we moved to local roads after that. He made sure I encountered different scenarios on the road and found good areas to take me to make sure I was gaining adequate experience. By the third lesson, I was beginning to feel much more comfortable behind the weel, and Mike noticed this, too. He was great at letting me know when I was making mistakes or should do something differently, but I never felt like he was talking down to me. I knew he wanted to help, and I tried my best to use his critiques to my advantage so I could improve. He offered a lot of good advice and strategies, and he was there to adjust the wheel or brake the car if I was close to hitting something. This happened a lot less on the third lesson, so I could tell I had definitely improved! Thanks, Mike, for your help. I feel like my money was well-spent. I plan to use Blue Bell in the future if I feel like I need a bit more help before taking the test, and I will definitely recommend them to other people who are looking to learn to drive!

Fantastic experience: We went with Blue Bell Driving School through word of mouth from our neighbor. The process was painless. They took the stressors away in teaching my daughter how to drive. Mike the driving instructor was full of knowledge and patient with my daughter. Even after the first 2 hours of the lesson my daughter was more confident behind the wheel and with the parallel parking. The day of the driving test., as nervous as I was for my daughter the demeanor of Mike and Bob made me feel at ease which translated to my daughter being relaxed. I’ve had a different instructor from a different driving school and he was terrible so I was skeptical about driving schools but Michael made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: Both of my daughters used Blue Bell Driving School for their Behind the Wheel training and to take her test. The school really tries to find times that will work for you which is hard due to Covid changes. My youngest just completed her training with Lou and her test with Bill. Both made her feel comfortable. I will definitely use them again for my stepsons in the future.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had lessons with Marcus. I appreciated the ease of scheduling appointments and that Marcus came to our house for the lessons. The driving test was at Blue Bell Driving School location which made for a more relaxed atmosphere rather than the DMV. Marcus came to our house for 3 - 2 hour sessions and then the day of the test reviewed the course prior to the test. He helped her overcome nervousness and provided her skills to be a safer driver and had a great sense of humor. She passed her first time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Took both my son and daughter there for their driving test. They both did the practice time before the test. These guys are great, both were nervous but after the practice time the guys made them more relaxed and confident.

Fantastic experience: I did a 2-hr course with Bill Grinstead at the school before taking my driving test. Not only did I pass my test with flying colors because Bill is so great at prepping his students, I also trusted him so much - this is an honest man who lives by his teachings of not driving above 65 and patience for the slowest students - that I went back to engage his services for 2 more 2-hr sessions of highway training. The school was wonderfully flexible about it as well, and I am now a much more confident highway driver for the extra training. So grateful the receptionist lady who picked up my first call sent me Bill. Also - doing the test with these guys is so much faster than waiting for a PennDot slot!

Fantastic experience: Bob Cunningham was the instructor who helped my daughter learn to drive and then pass her test. He was very patient, informative and thorough. I would recommend Blue Bell Driving School, and Bob Cunningham in particular, very highly.

Fantastic experience: The place is great, friendly people. I went there for a test and 1 class. Bill is such an amazing person with all kinds of shortcuts to become a pro in driving test. Test and the process was smooth. I highly recommend this place. Price is also very reasonable as compared to fellow test centers. it costs nearly 160$ for 1 hour class and an immediate test in their car itself, which is pretty damn decent.

Fantastic experience: There is a reason why this place has 5 out of 5 stars review on Google... They're the best and worth whatever if not more than what they charge. I've actually had gone through 2 other driving schools before I decided to book here. The difference with this place is they are dedicated to what they do and they genuinely care about the person. My teacher was Tina and she genuinely loves teaching people how to drive. She understands the impact she is making to someone's life and it just exudes and for some reason somehow transfers to me. She helped me get over my nervousness but she is very patient and tells you how to make corrections so it is more true to what happens in the real world. I would definitely recommend this to new drivers especially those who easily get nervous and tend to overthink things! As I told Tina and everyone at the office when I passed the test- Tina was like the mother I didn't have when it comes to teaching me how to drive! I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Even booking was easy and the person who answers the phone is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: It is with great pleasure that I write a review about the instructor Marcus. He combines terrific teaching skills with a great sense of humor. He made me feel at ease since the beginning of the lesson, and he understood that helping me reduce anxiety was a very important part of my being able to perform well during practice and the driver’s test. I highly recommend him. Scheduling with this company was also very easy and quick. The representatives were responsive and professional.

Fantastic experience: They are a great driving school for many reasons. While a lot of them are the usual ones such as being good instructors, being on time, having reliable cars, etc the reason I am giving them 5 stars is the the instructor made my son happy and excited to take lessons. Learning to drive can easily be a stressful experience and going to Blue Bell Driving School made it a great one for my son. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Bob Cunningham was the best driving instructor! He was thorough and taught my daughter everything she needed to know. He made her feel safe and she also enjoyed his sense of humor along the way. My daughter tested at Blue Bell as well and they were quick and thorough and made the process so easy and stress free for my daughter and myself. I highly recommend Bob and Blue Bell Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Both of my sons took lessons with Bob Cunningham and he took them for the test, they both passed with a 100%. I hear so many stories from disappointed new drivers and parents who fail the test the first time. I started with 4 hrs and was going to add more if needed. Fantastic experience: Contacted this place in summer 2013 to begin driving lessons .. and let's just say Sandy was a great instructor! She was patient, very kind, and excellent at her job. I had my driver's license by the end of the summer and *knock on wood* have a clean driving record to this day. I would like to thank this place (and Sandy personally) for doing an excellent job in teaching me how to drive, and would also like to thank them for their services they provide.

Fantastic experience: My kid took lessons at Blue Bell Driving School and did the 2 hours practice + road test package. Lou was the instructor, and he gave her useful tips about parallel parking and helped correct her habit of drifting to the right side of the road. The test packages Blue Bell offers are good because the instructor takes you out on the possible courses you will be tested on just minutes before your test. Overall, a satisfactory experience and will definitely recommend to others
