Negative experience: One of our worst experience dealing with this company recently. Scheduling is terrible. My wife and I called to schedule 2 classes and we were speaking with Nichole. One of which was a class before the ACTUAL driving test and to rent the car for $175. For some reason we didn’t get a call before like they usually do and our schedule class magically disappeared. On this day we talked to Erica who was clueless and rude. I get she was trying to stick up for Nicole and the company ..but she was saying how my wife and I never called and that they usually call a day before. I had to explain to the young lady , how would she know what we did if she wasn’t there. She automatically called customers liars. She was not professional on the phone. We have been asking for my wife’s driving certificate for 4 weeks now and we still don’t have it. We texted them my wife’s email so many times. Erica told us that she will get the certificate that day and nothing. This was too frustrating for us ..

Fantastic experience: I did the 6hrs drive as well as the test package. My instructor, Mohamed is nice. He asks me what I want to practice and plan accordingly. He even took me on the highway so I could gain some confidence. We also did some situational parking practice, thanks to which I was able to pass the test.

Positive experience: After exactly one month and one day, I got my license! Mohamed is a very good teacher. I was very nervous before driving and he explained everything very well. I got comfortable on the road very quickly. He broke down parallel parking in steps that made a lot of sense to me. I passed the test on the first try. The only negatives I have is communication. The day of the test, my instructor told me as I was driving to the penndot that they didn’t do drop off and that I had to get home on my own. I’m sure that was just a misstep and that he meant to tell me sooner, however that caught me off guard as I expected to drive home in the car with my instructor like any other lesson. Besides that, very good instructor and I would recommend anyone learning how to drive to ask for mohamed.

Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school. I took a few lessons with Mohamed and one with Justin and they were both wonderful instructions that were patient and helpful. On my first lesson, Mohamed told me to schedule my driver's test for the next available date and he would get me to where I needed to be by then. He made good on his promise. I went from not feeling confident about driving to passing the test in about a month.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely recommend taking lessons here for driving practice! Went for a couple lessons with Justin and it was awesome. He helped me feel more confident on the road and gave his lifehacks for the test. We practiced parallel parking and Penndot exam route. The school offers pick up only, straight to the practice (no need to visit the office or anything) 5/5, waiting for my exam date.

Negative experience: Made appointment for my daughter. The lady who handles the appointments called (with the driving school number) a few days prior and left a message to see if she wanted to change her schedule. My daughter called back and said no and they agreed to keep the time. On the day of, no one showed up. We called back and the same lady claimed that she called to confirm and since we didn't pick up she cancelled the appointment. We stated we received no phone call from the driving school, and when asked if she left a voicemail, she said she did. We stated we did not get another voicemail, to which she became so rude and intolerably indignant that we just said thank you we will go elsewhere and hung up. Would NOT recommend this company unless you want to wait around for no one to show up and then be treated disrespectfully.

Fantastic experience: Mohamed is a great driving instructor, I passed on my first driving test today because of him. He is patient, with great skill to ensure that you pass your first time while also not making the time with him awkward. If you choose this school , definitely ask for him. Requesting practice days were made easy by the assistant who answered the phone, working with you to find a good day that fit in your schedule and the instructor schedules. All in all, I 100% recommend this driving school, I am beyond satisfied.

Fantastic experience: First lesson was with Johnathan who helped me get comfortable. Second and third with Muhamed who had great technique for parallel parking. From my experience both were very very nice and professional.

Negative experience: 1. I was a little apprehensive that it was a legit company because of the type of customer service given on the phone. No " thank you for calling...." The person on the phone would not even give their name. I asked their name twice. On each occasion they replied, "Safe Driving School!". But I booked an appointment but told my grandson I wasn't sure they were legit. He ended up taking lessons from two schools simultaneously. 2. The driver did show up when scheduled. The driver Justin was excellent and the reason I continued my grandson driving lessons with this company. My grandson preferred Justin to the other teacher/school. 3. After requesting how to get the certificate for 6hrs of driving I was told to text the name & request to the number I called (school number). Trying to be supportive we opted to take the last of the 6hrs with Safe Driving vs the other school. I have made 3 request for the certificate (2 by phone and 1 by text to the driver. Notice this company website doesn't include email address). I have yet to receive it. 6hrs driving lessons were taken for the benefit of the insurance. I'm certain this would have not been an issue if I chose the other school for the final 2 hrs. Yet here I am! My lawyer has advised that before I spend more money on him to try again to get the certificate. I have also been asked to find out is this a common problem with ppl not getting their certificate completing and requesting it after 6hrs of lessons? If I don't get the certificate, and not get to 20% discount for young & new driver it's going to cost me money. That's even if I have to pay the other school for 2 hrs & get the certificate from them. I soon have to make a decision to pay for 2 hr lessons with the other school, get statement from insurance company & seek reimbursement through legal assistance. It's so hard when you make a business decision on the wrong reasons! I'd rather just have the certificate that my grandson earned provided as stated on your website and via phone. If the insurance discount is your reason for completing 6 hrs reread this! If you have completed 6 hrs and didn't get your certificate please make a post!

Fantastic experience: Safe Driving School is great!!!!! They are organized and have reasonable prices! I had Mohamed as my instructor the day of my test and he was so helpful! I was SUPER nervous! He helped me practice the route and calm down. I passed my test the FIRST TIME!!!!! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am an older woman who knows how to drive, but not in the city.of Philadelphia. Justin was extraordinary in making me feel calm, confident and competent. After a two hour lesson, I learned the fine tips in improving my driving! My driving anxiety decreased all due to Justin’s patience, teaching and kind personality.

Fantastic experience: Justin. That’s it. Took two lessons with Justin and he got me exactly where I need to be to pass the test on my first trial. Always kept calmly telling me what I’m doing right and what I’m doing wrong so I can fix it right away! On test day two people failed before me and Justin was right there telling me what they did wrong so I don’t fall into the same traps when it’s my turn. Next I want to say BIG UP my Instructor Miguel, this man is so patient, professional and the list goes. He kept me calm right before my exam. As I was so nervous. He was very knowledgeable. Positive experience: I took four lessons with Justin. He’s a great instructor, he’s really kind, and he has lots of patience. I requested Justin for my road test because of how comfortable I was with him and how personable he was, but I ended up not having Justin as my instructor for my road test because he was unavailable. I looked at the reviews to see which instructors were good other than Justin and I saw lots of good reviews about Bill. So that’s who I went with, and I definitely regret that. He was rude and didn’t make me feel comfortable at all. Him being mean to me just made me even more nervous for my test than I already was, but luckily I passed my drivers test anyway. If you’re looking for a good instructor personally I would recommend Justin.

Fantastic experience: This was the 4th driving school I tried . This one was the best and the most affordable out off all. Spend your money here. I read reviews and yes, Bill is the best! He made me feel confident in driving and taught me how to make perfect turns etc! I thought it would take months to get my license lol. He told me to go for it the same month we started. Negative experience: I called to inquire about driving lessons &the female who answered the phone was very rude, ignorant,dismissive &unprofessional.She pretty much was trying to rush me off the phone &barely wanted to answer me when I asked how much did they charge for lessons &told me to call back in may if I wanted to schedule a lesson because they’re not taking anymore new people. I WON’T be calling back in may,IT’S A NO FOR ME.They need to work on their customer service skill &learn to communicate better.

Fantastic experience: Miguel was my driving instructor and I absolutely adore him, he made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel and driving on busy roads which is some thing I wasn’t comfortable doing taking these lessons. I only had 2 lessons with him, 1 before my test a few weeks ago. Then today was my second lesson which was also the lesson where he took me to my test. I don’t think I would have passed without him, I’m now able to park in 1 shot now I would definitely recommend this diving school & Miguel to ANYONE who needs help driving

Fantastic experience: Had Miguel for my first lesson. He's a straight shooter and very informative. If you're sensitive to critique and direction do not feel insulted, he's just a direct person. Had Sarah for my other two lessons and she was awesome, fun to learn with and very caring with instructions and she fills in all the details you may need to know about your driving experience. She's also fun to talk to straight up. Had Bill for my exam and he was a very calm man. At that point I didn't need much instruction so it was a relaxed atmosphere. Had an adventure though, when we had to leave our testing site quickly to replace a brake light then make it back before getting cancelled on. He let me drive the whole way on the time crunch, that was chill. Passed my exam easily, even though the male tester at the Ogunz center DMV could get these hands (he's a pain). But these classes did definitely get me a lot of technical practice and road time which made me a way more confident driver. Do recommend.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are professional. I had three different instructor - they were all very good at their job. I especially liked Lisa. She is a great instructor. The receptionists are friendly and professional. They called me one day before to confirm the lessons. I was able to get my lessons for a very close date. Also, the prices are lower than other two other driver schools I talked to. The only thing is they asked me to change the instruction time each time before the lesson. I have nothing to do so it was okay with me.

Fantastic experience: Just got done a lesson with Sarah and she is absolutely amazing! She made me feel very comfortable and is very informative. She taught me during our lesson not only about driving but about the car itself and things I should know about it’s upkeep, and I appreciate that. I struggled with parallel parking and never really grasped it completely at the other driving school that I went to but she taught me a more simpler yet effective way for me to remember the steps, and because of her help I was able to successfully parallel park on my first lesson when she tested me without her coaching. I would definitely recommend this school, I have no regrets at all, was definitely worth my money.

Negative experience: I DO NOT RECOMMEND‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ I was scheduled for a 8:30 practice test . MIGUEL texted me at 8:35 saying he’s running late . Got to me at 9:15 once he got here he complained about being in upper Darby and wasn’t listening to my instructions to get to my building (i live in a complex ) . A poor excuse for an instructor!! If he would’ve got here on time there wouldn’t have been no problems ! I am pregnant and it was 34 degrees outside he had me standing there all that time waiting on him . It was so bad that i had to cancel my driving exam and find another driving school !!! He ended up just pulling off on me and i tried to flag him down They are inconsiderate and unprofessional !

Positive experience: Was upset the first time driving with them because their employee Sarah scammed me of $100. For that price we were suppose to practice for a hour & then use the same car to pass my test. Instead we practiced parking once and drove around once, which lasted about 25 mins. I told her I was confused because I thought I was being charged to practice for a hour. She then stated that I was being charged for doing the test route once and to use the car to pass the test. I called the company to report the incident & the manger gave me $25 off my next drivers appointment. I’m hoping that they take further action with Sarah. She was super nice and polite but what she did was wrong. Besides that I practiced today with Abraham and he was awesome! Which is why I have 4 stars. He was very nice and explained all the steps to pass my test very well. He asked me about the incident that had happened before and apologized for it. He then said he’ll see what they can do to take further action with Sarah. However, I did pass my test today!!

Fantastic experience: I had Abraham as an instructor. He was very patient with me, and very helpful. He knew exactly what to say, and I passed my drivers test !!!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone trying to get their license.

Negative experience: I have been with a couple of different driving schools. I chose Safe driving school because of the availability, but that was a bad choice. The instructor gave last minute instructions while I was driving then constantly gave negative feedback when I didn’t do what he instructed perfectly. Instead of saying look to the left he would hold his arm out in front of my face and point towards the left and then instruct me to look left. When I informed him that he was obstructing my view he would come back with another insulting comment about my driving. I explained to him that I have an anxiety about driving but I wanted to learn, but he did not have any patience with me. When I had enough and I explained to him that I feel even more discouraged to drive more than I had previously, he came back with yet another insult about my driving. This was the worst experience ever. Some people are not meant to teach and he is one of them.

Fantastic experience: Took my test with Abraham. He was very knowledgeable and madr me extremely comfortable. He is very patient and pleasant. I would highly recommend this school to everyone

Positive experience: I have been having lessons for the past year or more I put up with the bull they did with scheduling and didn't have much of an issue until recently. Lisa is a good instructor but hard to get her. I had a driving a few weeks ago and last minute I was told she can't make it no problem with that. However, I had a package for $80.00 with 30 minute practice the other drive they replaced was Mohammed who was half an hour late and I was told that he called me which I never did receive the call he rushes my lesson and obviously I fail the driving test. I scheduled another lesson with them and I had change of plans lat minute and now I'm being told that I could no longer be their customer. Their customer service is awfull. Only recommend this place if your schedule is really flexible and if your new to driving and I recommend Lisa.

Negative experience: Went for my first lesson to find that the car was busted on the outside (the exterior was being held together with metal clamps) and the ac was broken. I was given little instruction on the road (almost crashing), and my instructor was on the phone for most of the trip. We also made personal stops so that he could run errands which was highly unprofessional. They also do not tell you the time of the lesson until the day before, which makes it difficult for anyone with a job. When i asked to get a different instructor the woman on the phone could not assure me that i would be getting a new one until the day before. Was not worth the then 70 dollars and surely isn't worth the now 90 in my opinion. Id be better off learning from my Dad.

Negative experience: I booked 2 children with the school. The instructor was great. My son did 2 days and then my daughter was suppose to do a 3rd on. When they called me for a confirmation called I was in a meeting and missed it. I didnt noticed they called because they didnt leave a message or called back. I took off this morning to be available if something happened while she is driving. I call the school and said i just notice the call and why didnt the person leave a message so that I would have took noticed and called back. The man on the phone said well you didnt get answer the confirmation call. I told him when you tun a business and want your customers they would leave a message or attempt to call back. All I get is I am going to try and get a driver in a very nonchalant Voice. I told the man I have 2 kids doing it with yall school you dont think I was a good customer. Smh i would not recommend them. Only the instrustors

Fantastic experience: Alex was an awesome instructor!!! I passed my test today...... on the first try!!!! He communicated with me and made sure I understood. I also like the fact that I could used Safe Driving car to take my driving test. The extra time before was great and very helpful!!!!!

Negative experience: You get what you pay for. The driving instructor didn't pay me much attention. He was on his phone and on a walky talky because he still had to be at his other job. The car was dirty on the inside and out. Not to mention the mans constant coughing was really distracting. He smelled pretty bad too. Or maybe it was he car. I was shocked to see the condition of the dented car when it arrived at my drive way. At one point the car almost ran out of gas in the middle of my driving. Wasted time filling a gas tank up.The whole experience was awful. .I didnt learn much. I was taught how to parallel park with his car in a special way, but I want to use my own car for the test. Waste of $70.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school with awesome prices..I passed on the first try and also my brother did. I recommend Oleg and Bill. This driving school will get you on the road!

Negative experience: They are terrible. Canceled my appointment and claimed they called, but I have a cell phone that keeps a log of all calls and they absolutely did not call or try to get in touch with me. They're liars and extremely unprofessional. I've never worked with a business that would just cancel an appointment and not even tell you! Who does that? And then I try to get help from someone else and the same person mark keeps answer the phone and he told me to call another driving class after I told him this was my only day

Fantastic experience: I’ve used the service a few times and passed my test the first time. Steve and Adam are great instructors. Steve helped a lot with the highway and street driving. Adam did an AMAZING job helping with my driving exam. He made sure I was 100% prepared. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: Today was the worst experience of my life I had Alex for my first lesson he was great from beginning to end. I book for Alex again they send me Stephen without calling me to inform anything I was furious but they wouldn't answer so I want with Stephen who almost made me crash telling me to turn when I'm almost pass the intersection . While he's on the phone was know communication about the vehicle all he kept screaming this wasn't his car I feel like you get what you paid for and I'm still waiting for a boss to contact me nobody never did the worst experience and you've to call them to remind them about your Appointments very unprofessional.

Positive experience: Practiced driving on the road..drove about 50 miles with my instructor and he was really helpful, but there was no lesson on parking. When I called to ask why not, the guy on the phone gave me the run around and no real reason why I wasn’t able to practice parking, even tho it’s mentioned as part of the lesson. My instructor was very chill and helped me ease up, of course I was still a bit nervous but he was very specific on what I needed to work on and encouraging while on the road. Just can’t give them 5 stars because I didn’t get to practice parking and the guy who answered the phone was full of it.

Fantastic experience: My experience with safe driving school was great. The instructor I had was Lisa. She is so nice & chill. She really gave me a great technique on how to parallel park. I just had my drivers test the other day & passed. I definitely recommend to take lessons here!
