Behind the Wheel Driver Education

Fantastic experience: After a couple of driving lessons with Matt and taking him out on the road myself, I can see that my son has learned a lot. Matt did an excellent job teaching him, and we’re planning to schedule more driving hours to help him gain additional experience. Highly recommend this program!

Fantastic experience: The class was great. I learned a lot and they provided many note slides to make sure I understood the concepts. They broke up the class well with guest speakers coming in twice a day. The teacher in the classroom was very kind and full of energy to make sure we didn’t get bored. I also had a great experience driving with my instructor, Matt Walberg. He providing me with visual references and processes to go through in each step of driving. He was very mindful that I was a new driver and did not scold me for my mistakes. He made sure I knew what I was doing and provided me with the information I need to continue driving safe and properly.

Fantastic experience: I’m a student that just finished the behind the wheel driver education. Mr. Walberg was so patient with me the whole time and was so calm and I think that made me more relaxed when I was nervous about driving. One of the best experiences I have had! One more thing is when I would make an error he would not yell and tell me what I did wrong while being loud he would just be calm and tell me after or during what I had done wrong and make sure I did not do it again.

Fantastic experience: The two day instruction not only teaches the kids about the rules of the road but they bring in safety experts and persons affected by reckless driving to talk to the kids. Mr. Neff is a great driving instructor. He is so patient and kind and reassuring with the kids while driving. I recommend using this driving programs over others in the area (my other kids went thru other programs).

Even though I made a few mistakes, he would never get upset with me and would teach me what I could do differently next time. I thought drivers ed would be a nightmare and extremely stressful.. but Mr. Maddock was always patient with me and my partner and I had a lot of fun!

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids learned to drive here, have had a great experience both times. 16 hours of classroom time & around 6 hours of driving time with an instructor. Both kids learned a lot. They have special speakers come during the classroom time like semi truck drivers to talk about safety & what they see while driving, etc. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Maddock was the driving instructor for all three of my boys who took this course. We liked him a lot for our first son, and were very happy he was available to then teach our twin boys 2 years later. He was a very patient instructor and I had peace of mind knowing my boys were in good hands when he picked them up for driving. He taught them skills about driving that neither my husband or I would think to cover. My oldest son who has been driving a while now will still mention driving tips and best practices that Mr. Maddock taught him.

Fantastic experience: I’m an anxious driver, I’ve struggled a lot with driving. So I decided to take some one on one driving lessons. I called BTW and talked to Amy to explain my situation. She was very kind and listened to me patiently. She paired me with Mr. Maddock! Now I can’t say enough good things about him. He is encouraging, knowledgeable, patient and kind. He helped me boost my confidence and made me a better driver. I also took the in person classes with Mr. Neff who was very resourceful. I can’t not recommend Behind the Wheels enough! Fantastic experience: Mr. Young was a very good driving instructor. After meeting him we felt very comfortable with him teaching our oldest daughter, he was very patient, polite, and kind. Would recommend for anyone’s child.

Fantastic experience: It was fun. You don’t always get it on the first try. They help work on everything like parking, reversing, driving on public roads, driving on the highway, 3 point turns and how to work the inside of the car. It wasn’t too hard to figure out, all you have to do is practice before every lesson to help your driving. Listening to what your instructor says is the most important thing in the driving experience. This was really fun thanks.

Fantastic experience: Mr Maddock was my driving instructor and I have not found such a great instructor in my life time. On the second day of my driving, he had me drive on the road and the driving speed was 45 mi/hr . I had not even imagined to drive with such speed limit however I was fully capable of handling the car with his instructions. His Styles of instruction is so simple, informative and learner friendly that helped me overcome my nervousness and can handle the car with minimum efforts. With his guidance and patience, he taught me the skills of a safe driver. If aI’m in the position of grading his instruction skills, I have no reservations to grade 100 out of 100. He cares the learners as a member of his family. He always says “getting a driving lisence is not a big achievement but driving safely on the road is my motto. “ The directress of the driving school, Ms. Amy is so matured in her managerial skills that she always takes care of the learners and tries to provide the best service even in the hard times. Thank you so much for providing such a great opportunity!

Fantastic experience: I was a student at Behind the Wheel Drivers Ed. I had the Driving instructor Lyle Lancaster. I loved the classes and the courses, this school was not like any other boring drivers Ed class. This was a fun school with very fun people! You met a truck driver, a cop, and a train conductor. I loved the people I met and I just overall loved the school. Lyle Lancaster was a very nice guy, he new how to handle things, he’s funny and he is just overall cool!! I definitely recommend this school to kids that want to drive. Parents I recommend this school because it teaches discipline while driving to stay safe and to not do anything dumb! I loved all the teachers here and I hope you all will too!

Driving is continuous learning skill but when you go to the DV you learn a lot about driving, I am now about to get my license. I very much recommend.

There are special quests that give really nice presentations and deliver real, honest facts about the road. The driving instructions cover all bases and was flexible to your time. Positive experience: i learned a lot at behind the wheel drivers Ed; it taught me everything that I would need to know when driving on the road. i do feel like sometimes they go over new information quickly, so it was a bit hard to take in everything and remember it all. however, that might have been because the in-class teachings were only two days, maybe extending it to three or four days would be beneficial to let students really remember what's important. but overall, the driving itself was very helpful in learning the rules of the road.
