Fantastic experience: Really pleased with their service. I've been dealing with anxiety about driving for decades and I happened to get a really good instructor, Carlos Bezerra, who was able to coach me through the anxiety-inducing elements of driving. I've had other driving instructors before, with less success. He was extremely knowledgable, careful and passionate about teaching good driving, remarkably so. I couldn't recommend this service more.

Fantastic experience: Honestly a really good instructor, he makes sure not to sugar coat anything and tell you straight up which for many people including me is a big help to remember things. Even though he tells you mistakes straight up he us still very nice and calm and makes sure to always teach no matter what.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Candice Sluyter was my instructor and she is one of the most nicest and friendliest people I’ve met (as a foreigner who lived in a different country). She taught me all I needed to know in driving, despite that, we also got to know one another. What I like about her is that she is very approachable, and she doesn’t make you feel bad whenever you make a mistake. If you live in Culver City and decide to enroll in Cantor’s Driving School, better choose her as your instructor.

Fantastic experience: I’m late to driving but I have to say I really appreciate this whole company. The dispatch communication has been wonderful and patient and my instructor is the absolute best. I’ve driven with instructors in other places who have been a little intense and critical but Carlos is patient, clear and probably the kindest human ever. I’m excited for my next lessons with him and I have to recommend him specifically because he’s been doing this for a while (since his teens) and really explained everything so well.

Fantastic experience: The driving instructor I had was very knowledgeable. She was very human in interaction where you felt like you'd actually learn since the way she would explain it was logical and understandable! We would work on lots of things and get a lot done over my 6 hours. We practiced a lot of parking, which I ended up getting the hang of with her assistance; another thing we practiced was lane changing too as well as going over IPDE, and its importance. Another thing was also using the time to just gain road experience and testing to see what needs to be worked on in that area, and going over important things to know for the behind the wheel test. Overall my instructor, Veronica, was very professional, and cool at the same time, and assisted in my learning experience!

Fantastic experience: I’ve completed 3 lessons with this company now and had a couple different instructors that have been really friendly and helpful with instructions and teaching me how to drive. The 2 instructors I’ve had teaching me is Candice and Carlos and they are both very professional and informative of different techniques to use that are becoming beneficial in helping me as a new driver and I feel that when I go take the test to get my license, I will have no issues in passing. He gave good example and analogies, and made sure I understood anything he told me. He was responsive with any mistakes I made and always told me what I did wrong in a helpful and constructive way. Fantastic experience: According to my step-daughter - Ed is truly the best of the best. Very patient and experienced, he made me feel truly comfortable and safe on the road especially the freeway! The lessons were also enjoyable for someone introverted like me. I can't express how much he has helped me and I feel like I couldn't have learned how to be an efficient and safe driver without him. Juan was also crucial in my success as a driver. He taught a novice like me when I barely know how to turn the wheel and for that, he was awesome! He was very patient and understanding. I recommend either one of the to be honest, you cannot go wrong with either one of them! They are both great instructors!

Fantastic experience: I drove with Cantors driving school for my 5 lessons and my driving instructor Ed was extremely helpful. Ed seemed overqualified with an extremely impressive understanding of the road, and compared to the stories I have heard about the other instructors in my area he seems to be one of the only good instructors. Ed never wasted any of my time with breaks and never cut our time early teaching me for the full 2 hours every time. I have nothing but positive comments about my instructor Ed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my license for a couple years now, but I was still uncomfortable with driving in the freeways and canyon driving. So I decided to Google for a driving school to enroll in and so glad I found Cantor’s Driving School! I had Juan as my instructor for 3 2-hour lessons. I had only been taught driving by family as a teen (which was very stressful and anxiety inducing) so having him as my first ever professional driving instructor was a godsend. He’s a good teacher, friendly, and professional. For example, when I was nervous merging onto a freeway, he was calm while guiding me, which made me feel safe and reassured. Instead of feeling judged or discouraged when I made mistakes (which I did as a teen being taught by family), I was able to focus on his guidance because he created a safe space which I think is important for any driver to be able to develop confidence and gain experience. I highly recommend for any level driver, new or licensed! Our lessons happened to span weeks apart, but I really appreciate that Juan always remembered my goals of things to learn and improve on and where we left off in the last lesson. I really felt like Juan’s lessons, instructions, feedback, and tips were really catered and personalized to me, my goals, and driving experience level. It was a great overall experience and I thank him for giving me more confidence and preparedness to drive in a more variety of situations on the road.

Fantastic experience: Cantor's Driving School was professional and effective in teaching the basics of driving in and around LA! I had a lot of anxiety behind the wheel due to unfortunate circumstances (2 car accidents/5 years apart) and wanted to manage my fear by learning how to drive on the freeway. I signed up for 6 hours of lessons with Veronica, who is knowledgeable, patient, kind, and encouraging. She helped me understand the intricate dynamics of exits, lane changes, and merging while driving and most importantly, safety. Little by little, she helped me accomplish my goal of driving from one end of LA to the other (San Gabriel Valley to LAX), on the freeway at night during holiday traffic! Fantastic experience: My instructor Ed was very encouraging and friendly. He was direct and clear with his instructions and didn’t sugar coat anything. When I made a mistake he made that clear and he described the correct coarse of action. He had a lot of patience with me so I tried to return that. He’d use a white board as a visual aid to describe things. He was a storyteller and would try to get to know the student so he can relate to them. He prioritized the student’s comfort above all, only second to focusing on honing their skills. He taught what was safe, legal, and logical.

Fantastic experience: Today I pass my driving road test . My instructor is Ed . He is the best instructor, really patient with me , when I made a mistake he doesn’t yell at me, he just said ok , don’t panic everyone can make mistakes, just take a deep breaths, we do it again. But there is a word he always says to me, be vigilant, you have one life protect it and others also . He teaches me every single thing I need to know to keep me safe on the road. Fantastic experience: As of writing this I’ve had a few sessions already with my instructor Elia Perez and I’ve had a great experience learning from her. She’s patient and understanding when it comes to some driving concerns I’ve had, and often encourages me to keep trying certain maneuvers until I am comfortable with them. And comfortability is one thing Elia is very big on, as she always checks in to see how I feel and talks to me my progress to see if I am ready to continue to engage in the next step or not. She doesn’t cut corners and get me on to driving into the street, as her main goal in my past sessions is to understand driving as a whole and understand what it is to be a safe driver. It’s reassuring that even when I do make mistakes, such as parking, she explains thoroughly on how to correct mistakes and follows up with more practice. Elia has a great attitude and always willing to step in, and because of that my nervousness in being on the road has gone down a lot and has been a lot more fun with the past sessions. Overall it’s been a great experience to learn under Elia and looking forward to future session(s) with her.

He was very friendly, and his instructions were understandable and knowledgeable, not only in the driving field but also in communicating. Juan was flexible whenever I wanted a location change and was willing to give advice even after my 3-day driving package. It was very helpful that he had visual demonstrations on the road and his notes, making him represent this company well.

Fantastic experience: My son had his first two driving classes with Ed and loved it! He said Ed was funny and very personable. His direction made sense and he could automatically see and understand how to apply it. As the parent, I found Ed to be very friendly and he was clear and complete on what I needed to work on with my son. He kept me informed of everything they worked on and how he was coming along. I highly recommend him as an instructor! The only reason we aren’t using him for the third and final lesson is because he was already booked for the time frame we needed to work around my sons school hours.

Yesterday I had my first driving lesson with Juan. He is an amazing instructor! He is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel well prepared before you even start driving. Cantor's was one of the few companies we found that had sessions available within a week of our teen passing the written knowledge exam. We saw positive reviews about their instructor Ed and quickly grabbed some available sessions. Ed knows his stuff! You can tell he’s been teaching driving for a long time and has an organized process towards getting his students out on the road, comfortable and ready to learn more with each session. Ed was pleased to see we selected 5 sessions as that lets him spend more time getting his students exposed to more driving situations like freeways. Our teen’s final session was driving through the canyons between the Valley and Malibu. Our teen felt ready for that and did a great job. Ed imparted a lot of safety tips to our teen and gave us updates with each lesson. We had a great experience with Ed and we look forward to sending our next teen driver out with him!

I am Irish, so am used to driving manual on the other side of the road. I was nervous to drive in the US and completely oblivious to what I needed to know for my behind the wheel test. Julian was patient, encouraging, knowledgeable and direct when instructing, all things I very much needed to feel comfortable taking my behind the wheel test. I also opted for the day of test service, which meant that I could practice in the car I was taking the test in, and we were able to practice the morning of and brush up on some last minute skills. I passed on the first try, not something that I thought was possible, and am now a fully licensed driver in the US! Massive thanks to the team at Cantor who made the process so easy and much less daunting for me!

Fantastic experience: Ed is a very good instructor. He is always calm even when you make a mistake, he makes sure to gently point out what you did wrong, and he compliments you when you’re doing things right. He ensures that 100% of his focus is on the student and their driving. He is always aware of his surroundings, so he’s able to catch things on the road that the student may not have noticed. Ed is so friendly and fun to talk to, and very responsible. I really enjoyed my lessons! Thank you, Ed! :))

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Cantor’s Driving School, and I felt very confident in my driving capabilities after taking the course. My instructor, Julian, was very informative and helpful. He always kept me calm and focused in tough situations, and he was just an overall cool dude. To sum things up, I definitely recommend taking lessons here!

Positive experience: The instructor is extremely good. He should become a high school teacher because of how well he teaches. The one and only very minor problem I had was inconsistency when he explained stop signs. The first time I learned it, it was simply the basic “first come, first go” and then some rules based on if two cars from different sides arrive at the same time. However, on my last lesson, I had to stop for a few whole seconds each time. I don’t have a problem waiting a few extra seconds, but I just wish that was told to me earlier just so I would have more practice with that kind of thing. Maybe I was told earlier, but I probably forgot. Overall, great instructor. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Elia is very patient and is very good at helping me to become more confident in my ability to drive. I would recommend her and Cantor's Driving School to everyone.
