Fantastic experience: Just took my test last friday and i have to say the instructor truly was awsome. Cared not only for my understanding of the road and its rules but also future mayhaps and thought to warn me of them. She gave constructive criticism throughout the drive and helped me realize what i was doing worng for the sake of my own improvement and eventual growth as a driver. 10/10 would go again.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend!! I just took my road test here today and the lady who did my test was super nice and made me feel comfortable and less nervous. I don't understand the bad reviews as I had no issues at this establishment. Make sure you bring your permit and all your proper information as well as confirm your appointment.

Negative experience: I have no idea how in the world this place is still open. If I was able to give it no stars at all I would. Walked in and the lady Nieves Colmenero was extremely rude and blamed us for her mistakes getting our number wrong. Then proceeded to get more upset and telling us how to parents because we didn’t answer any calls. The other reviews I have just seen about her rudeness and terrible customer service is extremely accurate and I rather fly across the country to get a license then ever step foot in that place again.

From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The staff at the testing center were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure I was comfortable and well-informed about what to expect during the test. The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and provided clear instructions, which significantly eased my nerves. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere. Scheduling my test was easy and convenient, and I appreciated their flexibility in accommodating my preferred time slot. Negative experience: The worst experience ever. Do not do business here. Check all the reviews first to understand that there is something wrong with this place and the person working here. Unprofessional, rude. Screaming and treating all people around her bad. I would not even give her one star. She is completely off and literally scared my boy with all her screaming. She told him that he was disqualified of the test because he had to brake hard when a car came speeding He is been driving over a year all over South Florida, expressways, with lots of traffic. Even with all his experience, we are perfectly okay if he felled the test but we are not okay with her behavior towards him. He is a minor that deserved the same respect that we gave her and she literally treat him horrible. My boy didn't even understand very well her attitude, loudness and her rudeness toward him. Maybe it was a wake up call for him to learn that there is always someone different that can give darkness to this beautiful world.

Negative experience: Extremely rude old lady, she was belittling another customer and I don’t know if this place was good before but it’s definitely not now.she says she has a heart condition and told the other customers to leave so she doesn’t have a heart attack. She’s not mentally in the right place. If you’re wondering who look at the other comments and you’ll see a pattern. She also canceled my appointment and only takes cash which is really weird and I have no receipt. Edit: almost forget to mention the non stop talking during the driving exam (skills test), let people focus on their exams.

Negative experience: Horrible experience with this school that is a scam and needs to be reported . Cash payment only … to start with Rude and incompetent staff I had an appointment confirmed that got cancelled for no r re son the same day 5 hours before the appointment . I called and they told me I had not confirmed or responded to their message ! But they sent confirmation text messages that did not ask to confirm ?! Rude lady on the phone who needs to learn manners , customer’ service and change jobs as she is the rudest person I ever talked to . She changed the time of the appointment and basically bullied my daughter when we arrived -vert aggressive person, very rude and clearly unprofessional . What will not recommend this place at all . They are bad people with bad staff and bad business manner. They deserve to be checked as payments are only cash … quite suspicious and basically it looks like you pay for your license . Don’t take your children there . This is an ugly place in an ugly location with awful staff !

Negative experience: READ THE COMMENTS IF I REGRET ONE THING, IT WAS TRUSTING MYSELF AND NOT HAVING READ ALL THE BAD COMMENTS THEY HAVE, BECAUSE EVERYONE CAN'T BE WRONG From the first day I saw how she treated people badly but I said I'm here for my license. First of all, they canceled my class because they didn't have an internet connection and she schedules you whenever she feels like it, is it illogical? I want to make it clear that this comment is because she is the worst teacher, the rudest person in the world and beyond that because she treats me and speaks badly in front of other students. I was taking my exam, and you have an hour to do it, and she comes into the office and says STILL? SO LONG TO ANSWER THAT? And I MM stayed silent because I was super nervous about my first exam. When I FINISH, she tells me to come on Tuesday to take another class that she has some students so I can take the exam again, and I thank her. EVERYTHING COULD HAVE ENDED THERE, BUT SHE SAID, LET'S SEE WHERE YOU WERE WRONG. what SHE sees she says, Doesn't this make sense? And this, well of course is wrong? in front of people and with a raised, rude and attitude tone of voice. What I say is my first exam, it's okay to make mistakes as many times as necessary until I understand it. She got upset and yelled at me I'M NOT GOING TO WASTE MY TIME WITH YOU AND NOW YOU HAVE TO PAY ME $ EXTRA, I REPEAT, this is not because I didn't pass my exam because I don't want her to come and say that, This is because it is the worst of the worst. She doesn't know how to treat people, SHE want to make you look stupid too, I don't know if it's racism, classism, or what. and SHE has the nerve to ask me aha, what are you going to do? Do you want the appointment? and I was like, this lady has problems and to top it all off, she says I hate rude people in English, she believing that I didn't understand it just because I am not Cuban or American.

This place has gone down in quality and service. DO NOT RECOMMEND ! Waste of time and total waste of money ! Fantastic experience: This driving school is exponentially comforting. The instructor is so friendly and kind to all the customers and I took my test feeling like I was at home. The instructor was direct and upfront on all the information and reasons on how and why I could drive safer. I came out of this appointment an improved driver, feeling like my money was spent completely successfully, and the instructor looked out for my best interest and gave me a plan to make my license dreams and goals possible. Thank you AA for your amazing work, 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say this is my 2nd great experience with AA Auto Driving School. Both my kids tested with Nieves to get their Class E licenses and I truly appreciate her professionalism and attention to detail. 1st time in 2021 and now 2023, I came back because of her great service the last time. I have no more kids to bring to test…lol, but definitely recommend and will send anyone I know that needs the same service. With so much delay in getting appointments at the DMV, this is your best bet and we were able to walk in to pick up his license same day once he passed. 5 stars all around.

Negative experience: REVIEW OF NIEVES (begging you all not trust this place) -came home & realized she didn’t give change and claimed there was no overage (even though she was given two $100 bills) they don’t give receipts AND require cash (should have been my first red flag) -asked her if i could ask a question and she rolled her eyes then began to read her little script -called me by the name of the previous student who was testing & talked about previous students the entire time -made me nervous by continuously telling me (from the beginning) that i was “acting nervous” or “giving her anxiety” -talked and gave advice (on her own accord. i didn’t need it) throughout the whole test but claimed she didn’t wanna have to speak -told me that doing the three point turn and turning the wheel completely to the left was wrong even though it is not -very two faced acted nice until we were in the car alone -told me throughout the whole test to hurry up and then when i would go like 5mph faster she would tell me to slow down and mind u im going max like 14/15mph -just flip floppy. she’ll give an instruction then when u do it go back and say she didn’t tell you to do that. -told me i was on the grass so i moved off the grass and then she proceeded to tell me “did i give you permission to make that maneuver” -argued with me and spoke at me aggressively (borderline yelling). then blamed it on me. almost made me wanna cry tbh. -i apologized multiple times to her (for god knows what i even did) and did my best to be respectful and kind but she was not having it. -when i tried to do the reverse in a straight line there was a car behind me so she told pull over to the side and let them pass so we’re by the grass so that is the side of the road (bc i was already very close to the right side) so i pull over in the grass then she starts telling me “you’re in the grass” in a tone that tells me i did the wrong thing so i look behind for traffic and pull back into the street then she tells me “did i give you permission to make that maneuver stop the car stop the car” so i stop the car and im still not fully in the road and she tells me to reverse again so i begin to reverse but like i said im still not fully in the road so i’m reversing in the grass and she gets mad me bc im in the grass and so i said “ma’am i know im not fully in the road so can i pull in properly” and she’s telling me i already did which a.) i know i didnt and b.) clearly im not if im reversing into the grass. this is when she then tells me to just forget it and go so we can get back to the parking place -she shouldnt be working with kids. has wayyyy to much of a temper. -called me by previous students name throughout the test and compared me to her. if i could give 0 stars i would. passed my somewhere else test 2 days later (only bc i had to wait 48hrs b4 i could take it again). nieves made my experience getting my license traumatizing with HER nerves. as an instructor, you should either be encouraging or be quiet.

Negative experience: Lousy and rude. I went there (with prior appointment) and they were closed. Nobody was there! Then when they finally pick up the phone they lie to your face and hang up. Lost my time and money. Other centers have good service and respect your time.

They go above and beyond in service to their clients, and their fees are the best by far compared to other driving schools! Nieves is fantastic; she is very knowledgeable and does her best to help everyone! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs driver's license services!

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. Vehicles have bad brakes and are life threatening. This negative review is not because of my son's failed test score. We are fine with that. It's because of how unprofessional this facility is. Fact - The examiner berated my son during his driving test being so distracting. Fact - Upon seeing my son obviously upset, She had the nerve to be offended because I asked him if he was ok. My priority is my son, not her. She continued to tell me that she had some kind of heart condition. Then she needs to consider another line of work. Fact - This company has vehicles with faulty equipment. My son was not able to break smoothly thus affecting his test. My regret is not checking all of the other very similar negative reviews about this location and their staff. The woman that works at this location seemed a little off mentally. She comes off nice and welcoming at first but then upon testing becomes very rude and malicious. The 4.2 rating is not surprising in hind sight. I'm seriously considering conducting an business investigation with this place. This place is unsafe and someone is going to get hurt due to negligent staffing

Fantastic experience: it was honestly amazing , i was going for my driver license and the women there i believe she was the owner , made me feel so safe and she made me laugh to , so for me it was a great place to go to get your drivers license 10/10

Negative experience: Unprofessional. The lady who was my instructor was mean and treated me like fecal matter. The man was kind but the old woman did not even give me a fair chance for the test as she complained about me even asking questions. The woman failed to provide clear location directions. She also accuses you for "bullying" for simply telling the truth about her unprofessionalism. 120 dolares a la basura.

Negative experience: The instructor's behavior during the evaluation was highly unprofessional and dishonest. Not only did she talk throughout the entire test, but she was also very distracting, rude, aggressive , which made me extremely anxious. Despite my best efforts, I failed the test because of a reason that was completely unfair - driving on the left side, which I don't do. It's frustrating to think that I paid $120 (cash with no receipt ) for an evaluation that was so poorly conducted and resulted in an unjust outcome. I will not come back and will not recommend this school to any of my friends or colleagues or family.

Fantastic experience: From MY personal experience, i came in on an unscheduled timing , she still accepted me and allowed me to take the driving test . Negative experience: Do not come here please, look for another driving school or go to the dmv. The reviews have a filter for “lady” and it makes sense why. My close friend took her test here and when she came back to me from driving she was crying. The lady was screaming at her during the test and being unclear and rude. Starting the test in Spanish when English was agreed on. When I went to talk to her she screamed at me telling me I was being a “perra” for “harassing” her and she cannot talk to me because it’s my friends test. So I brought my friend in, and as she was talking to her I brought up the point that she did not pass the speed limit when she said that “she almost killed them” going fast in the test. Then she proceeded to threaten me with calling the police and that I was bullying and harassing her. I was just talking to her asking her questions on why she failed her as anyone should. When we were leaving she called me a “delinquente” and “descarada” for telling her I was just waiting for my friend to move the car as I cannot drive it because it is not my car. This lady the reviews keep talking about is indeed very rude, ignorant, and irritable. I urge you please do not come here.

Negative experience: I’ve just called them to ask about when I could get an appointment for my driving exam and I thought everything was going well until the person I was talking to on the phone finished by calling me “acomplejadita”. I do not understand why she did this, she doesn’t seem like a stable person and I am happy I did not end up inside the same car as her. This is not how you treat a potential customer. Beware of getting involved with this driving school and their shady people. I wish I could give them 0 stars but unfortunately 1 is the minimum.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely cannot tell you how much I loved my experience with this driving school. I took two and a half lessons with Ray, he taught me so well. I’ve been trying to get my license for 5 years and Nieves made it happen. Guys I finally got my license! WHOOP WHOOP! Would 100% recommend this school.

Negative experience: As traffic school responded to me with only one email “come in at 130 pm” I have little to no information on what taking my test would look like. When I arrive to the door I see that the entire store is locked and there is no sign explaining anything. When I called the store with the number outside of the store an agitated lady responded asking me to be patient(I was just calling to see if they were open). When the call was over I forgot to ask her something, so I called back. She answered me and when she realized it was me and hung up. So I waited. Eventually she got back, not without being incredibly rude and condescending. She sat down a Hispanic family as she told me to fill out some forms. I could hear her speaking in Spanish telling them how impatient I was and how she couldn’t believe what I had done(which was just call her business phone). Fast forward to being in the car, everything was fine untill at one point I got confused while backing up. She really didn’t like that I was confused and instead of letting me get my bearings she would rush me to finish the test. At the end she clearly let go of whatever happy personality she was portraying because she just started going off on me for being a bad driver and not being able to park right. Up until this point I had not said anything to her, and she still called me disrespectful and said I had attitude problems. I recommended that she gets a receptionist to make her life easier, her response was to scream in my face that her husband died recently. My condoloences, but you are a horrible person and test giver. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before wasting my 100 on what was a trip to get berrated and spoken down to by an old lady.

Negative experience: My daughter was nervous but also very excited to take her drivers test today. At the beginning the gentleman was nice and answered our questions. After he left, the lady there, Nieves was very unpleasant and seemed irritated that she had to help us. Her energy was very anxious and unsettling. When my daughter left with Nieves for the drivers test she was ok, she came back hysterically crying while Nieves was yelling and made her get out of the car in the middle of the street because Nieves didn’t want to wait for another car to pull out of the parking lot. I was shocked, this lady should not be working with kids (or people at all). Pass or fail didn’t matter at this point, Nieves made this milestone a traumatic event for my child. She don’t seem mentally stable to be driving around with children alone, I wish I had read these reviews prior!

Negative experience: This Nieves person is verbally abusive. She tests people “in groups” and “explains” how the features in her old car (even her key doesn’t work well) work. Obviously not everyone in the group gets to see since they are all crammed trying to take a peak in the seconds that she “shows you”. When the exam started, she didn’t even let me verify the adjustment of the mirrors because “we were wasting time” and wanted me to back out “quicker” without properly looking because, again, “she was wasting her time”. Mind you, the time I paid a pretty penny for. Then she claims that you stepped on this or that line. The roads where she takes you aren’t even well painted, but since she was verbally abusing me, and claiming that “all clients are the same” with their “stupid excuses” that “not even their grandma believed”, I asked her very calmly and politely to stop and get back to the office. She then went into a tirade about me “wasting” my (own!!!!) money and putting her safety at risk because “I missed a stop sign” when I clearly needed to stop inches further than the posted sign to see because there were parked cars and oncoming traffic. When we got out of the car, I even saw very clearly that the tires weren’t even touching the first white line in the road. But she claimed that I didn’t stop where I was supposed to and that this was an automatic fail. She kept on abusing me verbally, until I asked her to stop and told her that if she believed I was wrong, that was okay, I just wanted to go back to the office. She continued to insult me and rant about all her horrible “subnormal” clients. She failed the whole group of adults with licenses from their countries. Not only do you get scammed out of 100 usd, she verbally abuses you non stop. Please don’t expose yourself to these people.

Fantastic experience: I went to this driving school. The lesson with their instructor( don’t remember the name clearly)was so polite and clear with the instructions. He has an experience of over 45 years and it clearly showed.. he guided me well. The lady nuess who took my driving exam was the sweetest examiner I have ever come across. She exactly knows how to calm you down.Great experience at the AA auto driving school. I recommend this place to every new learner. You will definitely pass out with flying colours. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience coming here taking my driving test. When I first arrived I was a nervous wreck and they could see. Rey is amazing and an absolute sweetheart he’s the best. Nieves told me to relax and suggested I should take the practice lessons before the driving exam, best decision ever. She was honest and straightforward and I liked that. I pass my driving exam. They showed that they cared and I didn’t have to be nervous. Rey is the best teacher ever and was so patient he actually calm me down. I been telling everyone about this place and this is where they should go.

Negative experience: I paid $100 for a Road Test and from past experiences the instructor is supposed to calmly give directions and avoid unnecessary comments. Instead, the instructor kept distracting me during my exam. If I were able to focus instead of being stressed out for no reason, this would've been a 5 review. I'm very disappointed.

Negative experience: The driving instructor was very nice at first it all went well but once my test was completed I asked a question regarding my permit. I have two permits since one expired during my first year due to the paperwork and then I got my second permit that same week. The dmv approved of me having two permits due to the fact that I still completed a year but the original date that showed the completion of 1 year specifically January 4 was on my original permit but not my second. My question was about the date on the second permit which is the one that’s active and showed her how the date varies but I still completed 1 year and wanted to know more about my situation. Nieves then became very rude and started accusing me and my mother of tricking her, she didn’t let me and my mother explain that she misunderstood what I said and called both of us extremely unprofessional and rude names such as b*tches. Never will I recommend this driving school in my life just because of the way my mom and I (16 year old girl ) were cussed out by her when all I wanted was to ask a question regarding my permits. In the end I got my license from the dmv that same day luckily so it goes to show her accusing us of trickery was completely unnecessary when she was not even willing to let us explain.

Negative experience: I went today to do my drivers test, and the lady Nieves was the rudest person I have met in my life. She started talking to me about how my mom probably hated me and what a horror it would be to be my parent, friend and/or teacher. She then went on to talk to me about my money and where I came from when this lady is a complete stranger to me and to my personal life. Anyone that knows me can tell you I am not a rude or disrespectful girl, but this woman expected me to bow down to her as if she was Queen Elizabeth after treating me horribly. She made me very nervous throughout my entire exam and did not provide any constructive criticism, only judged me and made me feel bad. My mom and I were speechless. Completely ruined the experience for me. Be careful how you speak to young kids, we are people too. Respect is earned and just because you are 75 years older than me does not mean I owe you anything. You be kind to me, and I’ll be kind to you as well. Good day.

Negative experience: I had a friend who recently went there. She came back home sobbing because of how badly she was treated. She was mistreated and disrespected by a lady who was “helping her practice”. After insulting her by telling her “you’re mom probably hates you”, “you definitely have no friends”, and a few more similar things. She saw the tears in her eyes and said “que te pasa? Stop acting.”) She later had the audacity to when getting out of the car go to her mother and tell her “ Esta niña es una bicha no se quien se cree”. So I would NOT recommend this place AT ALL!!!!!!

Negative experience: The lady Nieves that works here is unprofessional and negative. I called to cancel my appointment and reschedule a new one. she told me I wasted her time and money and hang up the phone on me.

Fantastic experience: Best place to take the class E knowledge Exam. Nieves was super nice and had a lot of patience. She didn’t mind going through the same things a couple of times till we all got them. If you pay attention on the class you’ll absolutely pass. Highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: If there was a cero start or minus thats what they deserve. The lady is so rude and unprofessional. She has cero education and respect for others. First day when I had the appointment she was late and never apologized for not being on time. Then I had another appointment for a different day and they call to reschedule a day that was not even the day I had the appointment. And the day of the actual appointment they call me to cancel it last minute and when I try to see how to solve the problem she was so rude and hang the phone on me. Now I lost my DMV appointment because of her lack of organization and professionalism.

Negative experience: I went for my class E driving exam, the entire time they came across as rude and condescending and kept trash-talking their previous clients to an acquaintance of theirs that showed up. I ended up failing my exam- which I acknowledge was my own mistake- but the moment they got out of the car, the instructor starts talking about my driving to the acquaintance too. Like geez, at least wait until we've gone our separate ways first if you wanna talk so bad. On top of it all, in the middle of my driving exam the instructor got a phone call and started talking to whoever it was in the middle of the test. They only hung up when I began to get confused since I was barely getting proper instructions. Again, I acknowledge the mistakes I made and if I need to learn more before I'm ready to drive, then I'll do it. But after the amount of unprofessionalism and rudeness? I'll go learn somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: The best place to get your drivers license. Nieves was the best instructor. She was very straightforward with each direction and made me feel comfortable during my exam. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Negative experience: The lady that works here is unprofessional and was just negative through out. Instead of communicating clearly, she would ask ambiguous questions and purposely make you feel uncomfortable. Trust me, you do not want to be taking a driving test while trying to control your temper. I had to purposely disengage from her nonsense in order to keep her from being more obnoxious. Would not recommend anyone to come here. Save your time and money.

Negative experience: 100 dollars for a driving test! Believe me it’s easier to go to the DMV for half that price. Although I made an appointment at 10:30 I didn’t get in the car until 12. Read the Yelp reviews about Nieves she’s a nightmare. Other thing, they only accept cash and she gives no receipt.

Negative experience: Worst experience I have ever had. The owner of the store was in a foul mood. When we entered her stores she was conducting personal business on her cell phone when checking us in. She had her father perform the "driving lesson" first, and he was not proficient in English. My daughter returned after this is called "lesson" and was not permitted to take the actual exam. They could not offer any specific reasons why. (:Likely the owner of the shop was still in the midst of handling her personal issues during business hours) This business requires cash only and didn't offer a FULL refund. (THE PROCESS COST $150 AND THE OWNER KEPT $50, GUESS THE IRS WON'T KNOW...)My daughter left in tears and we had no explanation with any specific errors she could have made in this so called "driving lesson" They asked us to leave and refused to give my daughter an actual driving exam.. Wasted hours of our time and money. Steer clear!!!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Nieves is nothing but amazing with both the writing and driving exams! I would 100% recommend this place to get your drivers license. She’s very clear while giving you instructions about what you should or shouldn’t do while taking the writing exam and her father gives an excellent tutoring before the driving test. Negative experience: I waited to get my license from the DMV before writing this review, because of previous poor reviews that I read. I also found it unprofessional that details of previous drivers' performances on their tests was disclosed as a defense by the owners in response to these poor reviews. Unprofessional. The woman was in the process of buying clothes online as we walked in and and continued to do so as she helped us. During the driving test, the unprofessional comments did not stop. I passed the exam but was told that I was unfit to drive afterwards. I also never received a receipt. I would never recommend this place to any parent looking to bring your child here, because you may leave very unhappy. If you are someone looking to get your license, save yourself the money and nasty experience and go somewhere else.

She has a great personality and took care of my 18 year old Daughter very well. Highly recommend this place if you are seeking a road test to get your license!!

Fantastic experience: I had waited at the Coral Reef DMV for hours just for them to tell me that I couldn’t take the driving test. My dad called Nieves and she was so pleasant enough to fit me in so that I could get my license that day. The test route was very efficient and I felt more than comfortable in the car. Nieves explained how everything would go beforehand and prepared me extremely well for my driving exam. I passed and was able to get my license that day. I strongly recommend to anyone looking to get their license!
