At over 35 years old and having never been behind the wheel of a car (unless you count bumper cars), I was incredibly anxious about the process. Enter Nayyar Sultana—“Sultana” as she’s known—who turned what felt like an impossible challenge into an empowering experience. Sultana was AMAZING! From the first lesson, her clear, direct, and incredibly helpful instructions made everything feel manageable. I learned the basics—rules of the road, how to accelerate and brake gently (yes, I needed help with that!), how to signal (even when I accidentally turned on the wipers the first time), left turns, right turns, k-turns, and even parallel parking. By the second lesson, Sultana had me tackling trickier intersections and busier roads. And by the third lesson, I was on the highway, confidently driving and perfecting her “mini parking” technique for adjusting my parallel parking if needed. Fantastic experience: As soon as i got my permit, i was able to set my first appointment within 24 hours. My instructor, Marcia, was very patient and calm which made me feel confident. She corrected me and helped me learn from my mistakes. When it was time to take my test, she gave an excellent brush up that really helped me pass my test. On my parents end, they felt safe, comfortable, and involved in the process, knowing that I was in good and legit hands. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who’s never driven before.

We worked on my right turns , my K turns and parallel parking . She allowed me to make mistakes and didn’t yell at me about it . Fantastic experience: I passed my road test yesterday on my first try!! And I owe that to the best instructor ever Mr Hervil! Since my first ever learner’s permit in 2010, for the past 14 years, I have always only had learners permit. It was just a cycle of taking the knowledge test and then practice driving and then stop practicing because of some unforeseen event (and MOSTLY I had a terrible fear of driving!!!) and my permit would just expire, then apply for permit again take the knowledge test and so forth. Finally this year, I promised myself this is my year to finally get my license. When I was scouting for the driving school, I had called like over 5 driving schools near the area, and it was only with Mr Hervil that I felt this is the driving school I will enroll with, because it didn’t feel like a business transaction when we were talking on the phone, it felt like I was just talking to my uncle asking him to teach me to drive. Made sure to remember the name of the school, because I was not planning to enroll yet till a few weeks later due to upcoming events. But when I did start the driving class, I was so nervous, but Mr Hervil assured me it will be okay! I was a little rusty since I haven’t practiced driving in over 2 years, but after continued practice w/ Mr Hervil, I was able to get back to it. Mr Hervil, that every Saturday for the past 1 1/2 months, you have been patient, kind, professional and supportive and you taught me the skills to become a safe driver. Thank you for giving me the confidence to drive and for helping me overcome my nervousness and panic! Your lessons were very informative, well-structured and I really appreciated your encouragement, especially right before my road test! Thank you very much again Mr Hervil for everything! Fantastic experience: Best Driving Instructors Ever! Hervil is such a sweet person and caring instructor. Taught me everything I know. Was kind and extremely supportive. If I made a mistake, he still gave me encouragement. Parallel parking was something I was scared of, however, with the way he taught me a tire barely hit the curb twice. The day of my driving test in Rahway, he took me on the parkway - I never drove on a busy street. Throughout the drive, I felt safe, calm, and not once was I truly scared. In addition, I passed my driver test on my first try. I can truly thank Hervil for that and I could give him so much praise.
