Fantastic experience: Today I passed my road test and I’m so thankful to Denise, my instructor who helped me. Denise is the BEST OF THE BEST ! I went into this without any experience whatsoever and she immediately made me feel comfortable. Her way of teaching was so easy, I learned parking and three point turn in less than a week. I was so terrified of having a bad encounter with an instructor but I’m so happy I had her. Denise made everything easy to understand and most importantly it was so easy to communicate with her. All 13 lessons I took were with her. If you are hesitant pleaseeeee go to her you will definitely not regret it. She is located at the Ruki driving school (Westchester location). In addition, there is also two other staff memebrs who I have to mention: Ms. Denise (different lady) who works in the office & Erica for also being so kind and helping me book all the lessons I wanted, explaining things to me and assisting me. 10000/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: I purchased a couple of packages from Ruki Driving School and passed my road test on the first try. I had absolutely no driving experience before going to Ruki. Ruki worked with me to schedule the lessons around my work schedule. My instructors were TJ and Tim. They were both very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly instructors. TJ specifically went above and beyond to make sure he was available the days leading up to my road test so I could feel more secure. I also have to say that Ronnell, the person that drove me to the road test, was very kind and gave helpful tips. I will definitely be going back to Ruki to get highway driving lessons so I can begin driving more now that I have my license!

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to give a big thanks to Ruki auto driving school I was learning to drive with a private person since 2021 I fail three times and I said I'm done and one day as I was walking home from work and I saw the school on gunhill and I decided I'm going to try to drive one more time and I must say from the office to the drivers they have done an excellent job the office make sure that you don't forget the dates nor the time and the drivers never late and they are so patient. Fantastic experience: Ruki Auto Driving School is a fantastic automobile learning institution. My driving instructor TJ, was a very patient and hands-on teacher. He wasted no time teaching me the necessary steps required to properly parallel park and make a three-point turn. He monitored my turning skills and quickly made suggestions for whatever I did wrong. He’s a very astute instructor who pays attention to the little details. Thanks to him I was able to pass my driving test on my first try. I highly recommend him as an instructor. Fantastic experience: Ruki driving school is a great driving school. When I first starting taking lessons I was nervous because I never been behind the wheel ever but as I kept taking more and more lessons I gotten better and more comfortable. My instructor T.J is the best. He literally helped me from the beginning to the end, and he always had confidence in me. I was able to pass my drivers test on the first try as well which is a plus. Fantastic experience: I enrolled to take several classes at Ruki Driving School, and I was paired with a great instructor! TJ is super helpful, professional, patient, and explains directions very well. The staff is also very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend both the school and TJ as a driving instructor. He makes sure his students are ready and feel successful for their road test.

Fantastic experience: You can't go wrong with this school. I got the 10 lesson package and it was definitely well worth the cost. Booking the lessons was easy, the office staff is super nice and friendly. The different instructors I worked with (Taniel, Rohan, Denise & Mr T) are all fantastic. My package included the car for the road test and that was an easy set up as well. This place is highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Had never been behind a wheel and decided it was time to learn a valuable life skill and get my drivers license. Saw Ruki Auto Driving School’s great reviews and decided to give it a chance. Definitely was the right decision! Took majority of my lessons with TJ who makes you feel very comfortable and tells you exactly what’s needed to be corrected while praising you when accomplishing a task. Got my drivers license on the first try!

Fantastic experience: T.J is the man, he actually teaches you step by step and he doesn't make you feel uncomfortable, he is a very great instructor and is extremely patient with you. A lot of the times people have bad experiences at other schools because the instructor would put pressure, but I never felt pressured at all. Fantastic experience: Signed up for a 3 lesson package, school was professional and on point with setting up my appointments and answering all the questions I had. Want to give a special shoutout to MR.T and Shana. Mr.T was very helpful and provided me with good training and instructions while doing my lessons. Fantastic experience: Before coming here I took at least 6 driving lessons at Motivation Driving school in the Bronx early last year and failed the test the first time (they didn't prepare me at all) I took FOUR lessons with TJ and passed my driving test in a week! I highly recommend this place and requesting TJ! So happy I came here! Very organized and will prepare you for the test. The 5hr class was also very informative.

Fantastic experience: I took my road test today and passed! I highly recommend this school. The front desk staff were great and super accommodating and patient to help me schedule the classes that fit my schedule and time frame. My first time taking the road Test was a few years ago with another school. I ended up not passing my road test and putting it on hold BUT I am so glad I found this school! I took 6 classes 1 with Rohan who was awesome and TJ for the rest of the courses. Thank you so much TJ for being so patient and helping me become a better driver! Fantastic experience: Before I came to Ruki, I had been to 2 other school one on castle hill and bruckner and the other one on starling and Olmsted. I was yelled at and intimidate by these two schools. The latter will make appointment with you and call and cancelled. My journey started 2020 before covid hit. I had done 4 test and failed miserably. The instructors made me feel it was the examiners but now I believe I was not doing the right thing until I decide to go to ruki. Before I registered I did a little research about the school and their reviews. A lot of reviews talked about an instructor name TJ. Upon registration I requested TJ and boy oh boy, the difference between his style of teaching was phenomenal, he gave the car and watched drive , after the first day he said “imma teach you the correct way. I did 6 lesson with him, second day left turns and right turns how to break 3 lesson, parallel parking made easy just 2steps, broken u turn made easy. To be honest my 6 lesson with him was worth more that the 30 lesson taken in the past.he thought me how to park on a hill, how to the hand -cross over when turn, how to better recover your car after a turn. On the day of the test , I was still nervous but very confident. I started the test @9:05 the examiner was really nice, I started the car, right after the first light she Asked me to parallel park. I did it but was too far away from the curb and I was able to fix my self, did broken you turn easily, couple of right and left turns and I was back to the start point by 9:12. I checked my results later and I passed…..hooooorrrrraaaaaayyyyy Thank you Ruki and most especially TJ. Namaste.

Fantastic experience: I've taken lessons with multiple driving schools and have been trying for a long time to pass my road test. Out of all the schools I tried, this is the most organized and professional school. I had TJ as my instructor to prepare for my road test which was today (I passed). He is a calm and patient instructor especially if you have a fear of driving. I've had instructors in the past who who would just laugh at my driving, making me feel even less confident. But TJ was patient throughout and was never negative during the lessons. I like the fact that entire staff communicates with their students well. Thank you also to Denise, Julie, and Megan who are all so sweet and professional, sending email reminders and text messages before the lessons. Out of all the schools in Parkchester, I highly recommend Ruki Auto Driving School if you need to pass your road test and get your license.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was TJ and he was absolutely AMAZING. I honestly thought it would take a miracle to learn to drive but TJ was knowledgeable, had patience and was calming to drive with . He was always on time and was always honest with me and told me when he believed I was ready to take the road test . I want you to keep in mind that when I first went to this driving school I had NEVER drove a car in my life. I didn’t even know how to signal lol and on my first try I passed my road test

Fantastic experience: This school was pretty organized. They sent reminders of the upcoming lessons a week in advance as well as the day before both by text and email. I had most of my lessons with the instructor T.J. who was patient, laid back and super helpful. I also had lessons with Jonathan who was a good instructor as well. Their instructors and staff are all very nice. Even on the way to the road test, the instructor was reassuring us that we’d do well and giving us pointers to help calm any last minute nerves. I was able to pass the road test on my first try I would definitely recommend this school to others.

Fantastic experience: The best driving teacher at Ruki is T.J. It’s because of him that I just passed my road test on the first try! I experienced a handful of different instructors, but T.J. is one of the most experienced and had the patience to put me at ease and guide me through. Fantastic experience: T.J was a phenomenal instructor, I was terrified of being behind the wheel and he guided me through it very well. He helped me become much more comfortable behind the wheel, while also correcting bad habits without making me feel more anxious. I was easily able to pass the drivers test thanks to him. He was also very responsible and got here on time and was very thorough in teaching you everything you need to know to pass the test.

Fantastic experience: I hired this driving school for my daughter after having failed her first road test with another school. I have to say they are phenomenal, especially her instructor TJ, she said he was great and she learned so much from his expertise. They send you your schedule, with dates, times, and instructor assigned. There is constant communication between instructor and student as necessary. My daughter said TJ was great and made her feel very comfortable. She suffers from anxiety and she was always happy going and returning from her lessons. I will definitely recommend Ruki to all and especially TJ. She passed her test and was confident in taking it.

Fantastic experience: After 6 lesson with TJ, I passed my road test on my second attempt. Prior to taking lessons with him, I took 12 lessons at a different school and was not well prepped for the road test. My lessons with TJ also felt longer because I was behind the wheel for the entire 45 mins unlike the other driving school I was at where their instructors would drive you to the same location each time and then have you practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Ruki Auto Driving School. My instructor was TJ. I purchased the 10 lesson package along with 2 60minute lesson packages. I was not consistent initially with my lessons and each time TJ was patient and gave me direction when needed. Pro's of TJ was that he wasn't too hands on. He allowed you to take control of the car and when needed will intervene but allowed me to make mistakes and learn. TJ was also very personable and easy to reach/ communicate with. TJ was very encouraging and gave me confidence I didn't even have in myself. Cons of TJ: TJ is soooo popular be prepared to book your lessons at least 2 weeks in advance. Overall Ruki was amazing. I often called and spoke with Denise the receptionist and she is too sweet and patient. She's always going beyond to help me book lessons and appointments. The manager Leo is also a sweetheart. He was very encouraging on the day of my road test and eased my mind. His confidence and support plus the additional help from the staff at Ruki is why today *well May 13* I am officially a licensed up! Blessed and highly favored!!!! CATCH ME ON THE ROAD BABY!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Though prices for lessons are kind of expensive, the instructors are amazing. I recommend Denise, she is very very friendly and sometimes you forget you're driving with an instructor rather than a friend. I also recommend Tj who helps you become more comfortable behind the wheel. I also had Mr. Frank and Jose who were both great. Mr. Frank is a really great instructor and is also very friendly. Mr Frank is very knowledgeable when it comes to driving and with him I was able to get parallel parking. On my fourth test, that was the only time I could parallel park PERFECTLY. I only got 5 pts off for using "excessive maneuvers" when on my last tests, i usually parked too far from the curb. Mr. Frank also helped me get over my fear of failure and reassured me that I'm a good driver. I highly recommend you stack your lessons consecutively (one every day) if you can especially if you have no one else to teach you at home. This helped me pass my road test with only 15 points off in comparison to 40 or 60 points the last 2 times. There really is no difference between the hour lesson and the 45 minute lesson, they all feel the same. Keep that in mind. I scheduled my road test in Strang Ave 3 times and it is a relatively easy area, just be sure to do over the shoulder checks for literally everything and you'll do fine! I also recommend Strang over Yonkers. Thanks Ruki Auto Driving School.

Fantastic experience: This Morning i took my road test and i passed. If it wasn't for Denise my instructor from Ruki Auto school i would have not passed. She was amazing, patient and she knew how to communicate with me when i was discouraged. Denise is great teacher and we need more people like her to teach us how to drive. Ruki Auto School was very helpful with scheduling answering all my questions i asked was not RUDE at all. I Recommend there driving school any time and i give them 5 stars and if there was 10 stars i would give them as well. Thank you again because with them and there services i would have not passed today.

Fantastic experience: So happy I did my research and picked a great school ! My first instructor was not the best fit for me so then I began lessons with Tj and Mr Frank . Both awesome instructors, I felt confident behind the wheel and relaxed, they were patient with me but were not afraid to correct me and I really appreciated this. I had never driven any car before I started lessons and after 11 lessons ( I paid for one more outside of my package because i wanted extra practice) I took my road test today and passed on the first try ! I would definitely advise taking lessons with more than one instructor if you can, and booking your appointments in advance, these two are amazing so their schedules fill up quickly.

Fantastic experience: It took me forever to find the words to express how thankful I am to Ruki Driving School. This was my second driving school and thankfully it was my last. Between both driving schools, I went through a number of instructors (whether scheduling issues or instructors leaving) and I was starting to feel like I was kryptonite for driving instructors. Fantastic experience: I appreciate this driving school to the fullest. This was my third and last driving school I attended and I love how comforting and accommodating the whole process was. I did pass my road test because of this driving school and I appreciate the help from instructors Mr. Frank and Denise!! They were helpful with my parallel parking and confidence to pass my road test. The receptionist was also comforting and very helpful throughout the process. Also, the way they handle their appointments was very convenient because not only do they email you but, they text you too for upcoming appointments. Pretty dope driving school!

I've been to two other driving schools before coming to Ruki. I failed my road test twice. I was frustrated and gave up learning how to drive. It wasn't until I found Ruki driving school that I found motivation again. TJ and Frank are both amazing instructors. They're kind, patience, and teach you step by step. They make learning how to drive fun. They break it down for you all the way. Within the first 30 seconds of my first lesson, I was told what was wrong with my driving and why I kept failing. I was amazed. Within a few lessons I was already feeling confident enough to drive and my mistakes were fixed. When I took my road test for the third time, I didn't feel nervous because TJ and Frank prepared me so well. I passed with a perfect score. Thanks Ruki, TJ, and Frank. All of you are amazing. I'll give this school 10 stars if I could. This is the best driving school in NYC. Come here if you want to pass your road test and become a good driver.

Fantastic experience: I just took the road test today 11/2/2020 and I passed!!! I couldn’t have done it without TJ, Tim, Denise and Audrey!!! All of you guys are so amazing! I appreciate every single one of you ! They literally take the time with us to be sure we are comfortable driving and shows us the mistakes we do and how to fix them! Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to have taken my classes with Ruki Driving School. The staff are beyond professional, patient and communicates very effectively. From the front desk receptionist to the driving instructors, they all make it their priority for students to learn how to drive safely and proficient. Denise and Rebecca works very hard to accommodate students and fit them in the schedule even when they are really booked. Especially right before your road test, they will make it happen for you! Now the instructors? They are phenomenal!!! Mr. Frank, Tim and TJ. I have had the pleasure of having these three amazing teachers and their semi different ways of instructing. I find this helpful because you are able to adapt to a way that works for you and is still effective. I recommend all three of them. However, I have to stress how amazing TJ is as an instructor. That man puts everything in perspective for you by creating visuals of how you should do things. He makes everything clear and easy to follow which makes it easier for you to remember how to de certain things while driving. I am happy to say that this amazing staff helped me passed my road test today!!

Fantastic experience: Overall, it was a good experience. TJ was an absolutely great instructor! Funny, chill - made me feel comfortable from the first lesson. I purchased 10 lessons and I highly recommend it. I get very nervous before tests but I didn't feel the same anxiety for my road test because I felt prepared. I passed on my first try, and I wouldn't have been able to do it w/o TJ! Other than that, please schedule your 5-hour class as soon as possible. You can't take ur road test until u take the class, and due to COVID-19, it took a month after my 5 hour class to get a road test appointment.

Fantastic experience: Ruki Driving School was so helpful, everything i needed to pass my road test and more. From the minute i contacted them everyone was super nice and so eager to help, from the front desk staff to the instructor themselves. My instructor was Mr. Frank, he was very patient, professional, articulate and kind. He helped me improve my turning and helped me master my parking for my road test. He was also very accommodating by squeezing me in for a extra lesson before the exam. Denise who was the office administrator was also wonderful. Everytime I needed an appointment modified, she was so happy to help me. She took me and another student to our road test. We all prayed right before and we passed. Fantastic experience: The best school I’ve been to hands down. They handled me with care and met all of my needs. Thanks to my main instructor Tim, I passed on my first try for the road test! All of the instructors really teach you everything you need to know for the road test! I had Tim, Mr.Frank and T.J as instructors. All have different ways of teaching but all are extremely professional and their methods are all very effective. I will be back to book highway lessons! Thank you Ruki school!

Fantastic experience: I just finished up my 10 lesson package and overall working with Ruki Driving has been a very positive experience. I want to give a special shout-out to both Denises! When starting off, the office liaison Denise looked out for me and helped schedule my lessons in a timeframe that worked for me. My driving instructor Denise was extremely laid back and not over anxious or commanding - a breath of fresh air in comparison to previous instructors like my dad or the ones at competing driving schools I tested out before this one. If you’re hesitant about choosing Ruki don’t be. Just get it done.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Mr. Frank. I would like to give him the biggest thank you I could ever give. If it wasn’t for him I would of never passed my road test today on my first try. Mr. Frank is very patient polite , he makes the environment very comfortable. If you don’t understand something or need something to be clarified he will make it his business to show you and teach you for you to understand to be better. I had 6 lessons with him and each lesson I progressed. I recommend Mr. Frank highly. And thank you Ruki Driving School for having one of the best instructors.

Every staff member I interacted with was fantastic from the instructors, front desk and even those I spoke to on over the phone. I was able to get registered for my package easy and quick without any hassle, very clear instructions and scheduling. HUGE shoutout to my boy TJ he is a God send, reliable, easy to talk to, funny as hell and extremely versed in helping you pass the road test and driving overall; give that man the 10 dollar raise he deserves. If you can ask for him please do you won't regret it. Another shout out to Mr. Frank, another great instructor who helped me, thank you for the one lesson I had with him his second opinion helped me out a lot. Fantastic experience: Great driving school. I have been to other schools and Ruki was the best. TJ is a great instructor and motivator for nervous drivers. I passed my road test with a 95. I am excited that I am now licensed to drive. The instructors were calm and informative. I highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: TJ is a great instructor: patient, knowledgeable, and funny. Really worked with me on the mechanics of driving. Scheduling my lessons over the phone and in person was very easy thanks to Denise!!! I passed my road test on the first try and I thank Ruki for all they have done.

Fantastic experience: I took 5 lessons at the school, 4 lessons were taken with instructor TJ, he is very calm and knows how to make you comfortable behind the wheel. He is also very honest and will let you know what you are doing wrong and how to fix it. He will work on your mistakes until you can fix them. My last lesson was taken with Mr Frank, he was also very calm and I instantly felt at easy with him. He corrected my mistakes and prepared me for my road test which took place two days after my lesson. I am very happy and thankful for all their help and their guidance. I was able to pass my road test on the first go!

Fantastic experience: Just got my license thanks to Ruki Driving School! Great school for beginners, with friendly instructors. I worked with multiple instructors and each one was a great teacher. I highly recommend you work with more than one instructor though. Not because any of them have a problem, but because you can learn something different from each of them. Fantastic experience: If You are looking forward not only to pass your road test but also to learn how to drive the right way, this is the school you should go to. I got there with a lot of bad habits that were broken down by my instructors and because of my schedule and other barriers I took class with three different instructors Mr. Frank, Audrey and Roland. They were great!! I learn a lot from them and was able to get there different teaching advices until I felt very confident and ready for the test. I can only say great things about this school. I also appreciate Julie and Denise, they were great at working out my schedule with my instructors and very kind as well. I just passed my road test today and I won’t forget Denise hug when I show her my passing score, it felt like family. Fantastic experience: I was really nervous about getting my license since I had no actual driving experience, but the school really patient with me and help me get comfortable behind the wheel. Thanks to them I was finally able to get my license and I was so happy that I choose them out of the multiple driving schools that I researched beforehand; reasonably price, flexible schedules and great teachers. Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school in the Bronx. My driving instructor was Roland. He was clear about expectations and was patient when I made mistakes. I was originally a very anxious driver, but he helped me to build my confidence. I passed my road test today on the first attempt! I will be recommending this school and Roland to others!

Fantastic experience: I took my five hour class and some driving lessons at Ruki’s and they are the best out there. The instructors I had were funny and very informative. And somehow they made the five hour class not feel so long. I have had nothing but great experiences at Ruki’s. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I went into this with barely any expectations and I was just BLOWN away by how great this school is. I just got my license!!! Everyone is so nice and friendly that I felt right at home while doing my lessons. My instructor, Julissa, was amazing at guiding me through each step and definitely helped me get over my anxiety by having more confidence in myself and learning what to do and what not to do on the road. I am proud to say that I'm her first student and the first student of hers to pass with flying colors! If you are planning on going to Ruki (which I undoubtedly would say you should), I 100% recommend you to have Julissa as your instructor. Fantastic experience: I enjoyed brushing up on my driving skills with Ruki Driving School. They helped me gain the confidence I needed to pass my road test. I didn't mind having different instructors because I learned something different from all of them which really helped. If you prefer to have one instructor they'll work with you to make that happen. Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for Ruki Auto Driving School! The best driving school in the Parkchester/Castle Hill area and I wouldn't be surprised to discover they're the best driving school in the Bronx! I was in a total Jam and only had 9 days to take acquire my license. Although I was nervous the staff was incredibly understanding and quickly registered me for classes and secured a road test appointment for me. I purchased the "3 Lesson Package" which includes 3 45 minute driving lessons, the 5 hour class and the road test appointment, vehicle included, for only $205. The best price in the area (Trust me I checked) When you walk in ask for Julie she's incredibly helpful and knows her stuff. Denise is very helpful as well. For classes I would recommend signing up with Nestor or Roland. Both are patient, knowledgeable and will give you VITAL tips on how to pass your road test. If you're looking to pass your road test and get that license look no further thank Ruki Auto Driving School, they got you covered! I wouldn't have gotten my license without their help!

Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons with Mr. Frank who is just the best instructor ever. Mr. Frank is very patience and Kind. Mr. Frank understood that I needed to overcome my nervousness and worked with me to make me comfortable. My driving challenge was parallel parking and Mr. frank gave me multiple opportunities to perfect my parallel parking. I am extremely grateful to Mr. Frank.
