Negative experience: I regret not leaving a review sooner, but I feel it's important to share my experience. To clarify, I was not a full-time student at this school back in May of 2021. I only rented a truck for my DMV driving test. From the beginning, my experience was disappointing. At my first appointment, they failed to show up, and I was informed that they had "dropped the ball." As compensation, I was given a week of class time, though I cannot speak to the quality of instruction at that point. While I did ultimately obtain my CDL, I found that much of the learning occurred through peer support rather than from the instructors. When it came to the pre-trip inspection, it felt as though students were helping each other more than receiving guidance from the instructors. Despite several attempts to seek assistance, the response I received was simply, “practice more.” Unfortunately, I never saw the instructors actively engaging with students to help them improve. Additionally, the trucks used were quite old. I spent three weeks studying the green book provided before my next appointment, and despite the school being 30 minutes late to that session, I passed the test. In conclusion, I would advise against spending your money here. While I hope the school has made improvements since then, based on my experience, I felt the instruction was lacking.

Negative experience: I paid the school before actually seeing the teaching outside of the classroom. Worst mistake I have ever made. Didn't even bother to try and get my money back because I seen what they put others through just to get a little back. I went and got my CDL at another school and I'm doing gd. Just use caution, everything is basically self explanatory. Go and check it out before making a mistake.

Negative experience: My experience with TruckGod CDL Training was beyond disappointing. From the ineffective training style to the owner Corey's defensive and unsupportive response when I expressed my dissatisfaction, the entire ordeal was disheartening. Despite numerous complaints and the fact that I never completed the training due to its inadequacies, Corey refused to issue a refund or even a partial one at that. His response was not only unprofessional but also unsympathetic, as he went on to berate me with comments like, "Be unsatisfied with yourself for giving up" and "Man up." Instead of addressing the legitimate concerns I raised about the training quality, Corey chose to shift the blame onto me, implying that my failure to pass the tests was solely my fault. This lack of accountability and dismissive attitude towards a paying customer (I paid close to $5,000) speaks volumes about the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. The condescending remarks like, "The goal was to get a truckgod CDL, and you gave up in the last leg of the fight," only added insult to injury. It's evident that TruckGod CDL Training prioritizes their own interests over genuine customer concerns and satisfaction. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice, as this company lacks professionalism, understanding, and a commitment to providing quality training.

Fantastic experience: Would give 10 stars if it were possible. I was enrolled in another CDL training program and was having trouble passing test at the DMV. After only 2 days at the Truck God CDL school training with Tiffany I was able to pass and get my CDL. Don't waste your time at other programs. Truck God is the best in the business. Negative experience: Can’t say much about this school! I got my CDL but it’s literally students helping students when it comes to the pre trip . Might as well stay home and practice on your pre trip and go to school to get tested. NOT ONCE did the instructors come out and helped the students out. If we wouldn’t pass the pre trip test all they say is “practice more” but don’t help. Trucks are also old. Don’t waste your money in this school.

Fantastic experience: When I walked in here I was like, hopefully this school is the right school for me and after I met the owner of the place, he promise me that he will do his best to help me pass my behind the wheel test so I could get my class A license. He was so cool and very straight forward. Today August 24th I passed my behind the wheel test just like he said and now I have all these doors open for a good job/future. So thank you so much TruckGod for training me and showing me everything I need to know to be able to drive a semi truck.

Fantastic experience: My CDL expired many years ago and I was looking to get it back. Truck God was not my first choice, I went with a different school and I failed twice my test that's when contacted Truck God School. The step by step how to do Pretrip and maneuvering was amazing, and I got my CDL in my very first try. I had an amazing experience. New Students or anybody trying to get get their CDL I'm telling you this is the place.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for TruckGod. The staff truly gave me the tools I needed to get my CDL. I must say it was a group effort from the administration team as well as the instructors. Them as a whole allowed me to be successful and for that I am forever grateful.

Negative experience: Been at this school for the last 3 month and man was this the biggest mistake I made. The only reason I say a 2 is because I got kicked out and they give me half my money back!!Thank you. I can honestly say this is a self pace school but when you quit ur job and try to give it your all with no help but students helping students it really hard to do so!There are a few good instructors there but the rest left! Good for them!!! To be honest this is not a school you want to go to.There passing rate is 1 out of 5 right now! There truck are old and always breaking down. If it isn't one thing it's another thing.There's never enough truck to practice on and sometimes there no trucks at all. I feel sorry for the people who have paid and feel like there not getting the training that they need.They really dont seem to care about the students as the say! But there QUICK to get your money and say no refund! But the best thing that happened to me is that I got kicked out and I was able to go to another school in a matter of one week and now i have my CDL thank you very much TRUCKGOD for kicking me out!!!!!! PS: BUY SOME NEW TRUCKS!!

Fantastic experience: Truck God Truck God Truck God. I have obtained my License and I cant explain how happy I am I decided to do so. If you're still thinking of getting your CDL... Don't just do it. This school has all the information you know and training you'll need to get your license. Starting with the inside staff. Everyone was very upfront and helpful they actually care if you don't pass and would rather get everything handled the first time you TEST. Everyone is super friendly and kind as well as there for you. You will go ahead and study the first few days, after that go take your test, and pass the written test easily. (as long as you study) But they give you everything you'll need Once you do that it's self studying and actually getting hands on learning of what you'll need to identify over at the dmv for your driving test. Everything here is at your own pace and your comfort level. Please please pleas read and review everything daily when you get home. It might take some time to get everything in your head... But once you have card A down everything else will come easily All the staff that explain the parts and they show you where its located on truck. If you have any questions or need them to review everything again they will. I'd suggest pulling your phone out and take videos so you have a visual once you get home and can read along/identify the parts to your study time. Also the other students are really friendly and don't mind testing/explaining things to you Once you get verbal down it's onto maneuvers, and drive time Let me tell you the instructors they have are very informational and amazing ! Zandra was very helpful to my passing and made me get everything down on the road easily. I appreciate her alot and how she believed I was ready so fast. Explained everything to look for, shifting, and how you need to do your turns... etc. I'll say this one more time tho if you're thinking of getting your CDL... Stop thinking make a dream a reality and just know this is the school to go to if you want to start making big bucks !

Fantastic experience: Excellence. No other word to describe how amazing the staff and the instructors are here. If you are willing to pay attention, gather all that knowledge and continue to improve, you'll have the easiest time passing and obtaining your CDL certification. As a former student and current CLASS-A CDL driver, I had no experience driving manual or even operating a bobtail or tractor-trailer. They have taught me with patience and experience and I was able to obtain it. You won't find any other school or training facilities like this one.

I ended up in a situation of needing to test at a dmv outside of there normal area and between the owner Cory, Patti and Francisco they collectively moved heaven and earth to make sure that they had a truck and trailer when and where I needed it. I would highly recommend using this school.

Positive experience: Very cooperative team leading you all the way to get your license. At the start you might feel lost and will never make it through, but here's how to find your way. To your pre-trip Omar is your guy. For Maneuvers look for Buck and Ron. To ensure passing your Road test Fransisco and Lance are your leads. Patty is a great support anytime you seek for it to help out in your administrative requirements. Overall school is recommended despite some lapses here and there.

Fantastic experience: Went through TruckGod after initially getting my CDL-A there and just finished with my restriction lift for manual driving. Awesome instructors, they really care about your success. In my opinion, you can tell they aren’t just there for a check. From Pre-Trip up through Maneuvers and parking, and road instruction, I never felt like I was on my own or had to figure it out myself. Would definitely recommend! Buck helped me learn shifting after struggling with it and DP, Francisco, Renae & Chris all gave tips that helped me ace it without the panic I initially felt. Positive experience: It’s an alright school. Biggest downfalls to me was it took me 8 weeks to actually get my CDL. My drive time/simulator time was spread out throughout a whole month, which I think can feasibly be spread out within 2 weeks. Speaking of the simulator, it’s some knock off cheap game installed, it’s got the right configuration and physical setup but they need to be running American trucking simulator which is no bs 5x more realistic and way better quality. If you do your due diligence and actually want to learn how to drive a truck, this place can help you get it done. Only thing I wish they also taught is how to use ELD/logbooks. Escobar and buck are good instructors!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Truckgod if you have struggled with passing the written test! My husband had been studying for months but couldn't pass the test. I followed Corey Clemons on Facebook for quite some time and encouraged my husband to go to his office for help. Welllll....everyone there was so nice and professional. So encouraging, so down to earth, and motivated to help him get his CDL. I'm proud to say my husband passed the test with flying colors 1 day after getting his certificate from Truckgod. Even the people at the DMV were impressed at how fast he made it through the test and how confident he was that he was going to pass! Now he is about to start his training in the truck! This happened all in 1 week of starting Truckgod after struggling for so long to get through the written. Special thanks to Karen and And Chris Solis they really got me where I needed to be. This school does teach but they also force you to want it on your own. They can tell you everything but it’s still up to you to perform behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: I got the my cdl less than 2 months be here. I know how cdl academy goes because my friends had been other cdl academies. first of all, officer Ina is gorgeous kind and treat every student in detail. I know it's very hard to administrated for the each student. there are a lot of student but she makes opportunities for each students. I felt so thankful with her. and also there are a lot of instructors that have great experience and gave me many tips for taking exam. Of couse, students themselves have to keep studying and asking. there is no easier way. but they make short-cut for us. I recommend strongly this academy. you would get great experience to get the cdl. and cdl gives you great opportunity!!

Fantastic experience: They did a wonderful job working with me through the entire process. The whole staff was fantastic to work with starting from in the office getting everything set up with Ena, Meechee, and Renae, moving to Pre Trip with Veronica and then maneuvers with Big Man Buck and I couldn't have done it without them. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a cdl of all types.

Positive experience: Had a great experience with this school. They definitely could update the equipment and devote a little more time to driving. Despite those two discrepancies I passed first time up and feel it was money well spent. Staff is super friendly but stern with their training. Fantastic experience: This is a great place to get the training needed in order to receive your class A CDL. Just like anything else it’s a must to be self motivated, and if you are, you will receive all the help and more in order to get your license. Mr. Taylor has a great personality and is a great time to go out driving with. Francisco helped me perfect my maneuvers but Chris is who built my foundation on them. Ena is the office is super cool and fun spirit, bring her Red Bulls and it might just pay off! Veronica’s nick name is the pretrip queen and she has totally earned that title! Great group of people! Do your work and they will do theirs!

Fantastic experience: My Experience With Truck Gods Was Nothing Short But Amazing, it Started Off Rough Wondering Will I Be Prepared For The Road But Eventually With The help Of Mr.Francisco And Mr.Taylor they had Me Maneuvering that truck like a Vet. Although you go there to learn what you’ll need to get on the road and start making that money you develop a Family, The Receptionist Mrs.Etna became my Motivational Speaker keeping my spirits up whenever I felt I wasn’t going to get it, And I can’t even put into words the major part Mr.Francisco had on my overall experience from learning the pre-trip, inspiring me to keep going on many attempts that I was ready to walk away from trucking period to The Testing Day he coached me the entire way. If the people at Truck God can't get you ready to pass your DPS pre-trip, airbrakes, maneuvers, and road test exams... you have no business driving a truck. They're that good.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Corey and his crew enough for the time and patience they had with me. I knew nothing about manual and after Corey and I conversed, he put me with the perfect trainer. Renee is a beast when it comes to stick shift. She’s patient and genuinely want you to succeed. Everything about pretrip and maneuvers started to make sense. I was able to get the entire concept that I was lacking AND the confidence that I needed!! Fantastic experience: I just passed my CDL test at the DPS!!! Before coming here I’d never driven a semi truck. Within days of being with Corey, Veronica, Big Neal, Mr. Terry, and Francisco I was inspecting the truck and doing maneuvers like a pro! I truly mean that. I really appreciate their teaching style. They gave me all the tools I needed, and when I messed up and got it wrong they walked me thru how I made the mistake and how to correct it. They fostered a family environment where students could connect and learn from each other and inspire each other. The instructors there Genuinely want to see you succeed and they do everything they can to make you successful. I also want to give a big shout out to Enna, the receptionist. She has been very Welcoming, professional and down to earth from the first day I talked to her on the phone and all throughout my time in school.
