Negative experience: Instructors were great. Office crew not so sure. Lacking some integrity. I paid for a package, went for road test and failed. Anyone who has paid for a package knows it's not cheap. I paid additional funds for the use of a truck for road test. Did not/could not afford paying for another package. In any regard, I never got to use the truck. It was never available when I needed it. Asked for my funds to be returned by phone and mail, my request has gone ignored. They're claiming they do not give back funds that are a part of a package. Even though, I am sure they can look at their books and see the funds I paid were additional. Since they just expect me to forget I gave them $175 for something I didn't use, they get this review.

The office staff was professional and helpful. Luis and Maria gave my child their lessons. They were calm, patient, and kind. My child just took their road test and passed!! Fantastic experience: Firstly I want to share my entire experience throughout my journey to get my cdl I live in New Jersey but I have a New York license so I was going to a CDL school in Bayonne of New Jersey I rather to not mention the name but all I can say is that my journey with that school was horrible no organization nor professionalism and the instructor only cares about money only to go to the road test with them once and fail. that’s when I decided to look for a school in New York and I find this school I never made a better decision I started the school I choose the winter package and add an additional class with it I was placed to work with Raymond as my instructor and that’s when it was over I could’ve never asked for better mentor with only 7 hours of class over 5 day I was able to pass my cdl class A road test Yo RAYMOND I appreciate you bro I couldn’t have done it without you if you are thinking of getting your cdl I recommend taking classes at this school and when you apply ask for Raymond to be your instructor you won’t regret it thanks to you again bro my journey of trucking has officially started

Fantastic experience: For someone who knew absolutely nothing about cars or driving, I learned SOOO much. I feel like I got more from my experience taking my classes with WILLIAM. He’s like the Mr. Myagi of driving. I highly recommend him William I took 8 out of my 12 classes with him. Luis is also very good. I ended up passing my road test!! I’ve been to other driving schools & none compare to how they teach you here.

Fantastic experience: Worked with NYCDS to get my Class B with P endorsement. Everything was easy (1 week for the ELDT online, written test at DMV the next week, road test 2 weeks later). The process took 4 weeks and I reckon it can be done in three weeks if one is pressed for time. Felipe, my instructor was great and with his support, I passed the road test easily. The only downside (maybe worth half a star) is that they do not have a straight truck for class B, just a bus and it’s pretty beat up. But it’s good enough for instruction and, as I said, the instructor I got was great.

Negative experience: The staff is amazing but the instructors lack in a lot of stuff. The classes are cheap but only 45mins long and that amount of time isn’t worth it. Instructors barely teach you how to properly do the inspection they only send you to watch videos on YouTube even though the office do their part and correct them on it instructors still do it anyways. I wasted about $1,000 paying for those non sense lessons and since I took them I couldn’t get the money back. I took around 12-15 lessons with this school and I didn’t even know how to a proper inspection neither the maneuvers at all. Most of these instructors don’t even carry a license to teach they usually recently CDL graduate students. The group inspection they offer as “free” ain’t worth it because it’s you plus 20 other students trying to record what the instructor is saying right on top of each other. I don’t recommend this school at all. It’s a shame that the office staff are amazing but the instructors are not.

Fantastic experience: If you take their class I almost want to say you are guaranteed to pass because I passed on the first try!! I signed up for 12 lessons (45min/lesson). I combined many of the lessons into 90min sessions to get the hang of it and I felt confident to drive very quickly. I highly recommend my instructor, Raphael. He was super patient, from day 1 he built confidence in me that I am a good driver, and that I will pass.

Positive experience: I'm not going to say it's a bad school, but its not a great school either. I took 5 lessons with then and went for the road test, upon arriving there I was not allowed to take the test because my permit did not have the air brake endorsement. The school failed to catch this after that made copies of my license. They did do good on their part by scheduling a second test for me for free after I got the correct endorsement. I failed the second test because I wasn't tod from my instructor a few things that I needed to know. First I have a complete recording of the bus pre trip inspection from my instructor, he never mentioned that I have to do a safe start of the bus, which caught me by complete surprise when the examiner asked me to do a safe start, because I had no idea what it was. Second I was told that I needed to know all the components of the suspension and brakes, which I do know and did in fact point out to the inspector, however my instructor never told me that I have to explain to the inspector what each component does and how it does it. So I got failed after I pointed out all the components, the inspector asked me if I wanted to add anything else and I said no, I think i pointed everything out, that is when I was told that I failed! I then asked the inspector why she failed me and she said that although I correctly pointed everything out I didn't explain how all the components work! I told her I wasnt aware I had to, i was told by my instructor that all i need to do was point everything out and explain how they are not damaged and are in good condition. I never called the school back after that because I felt a bit deceived. This school is a good place only if you already know exactly what is needed to pass the test because of their decent pricing.....

Fantastic experience: I had a great instructor for my highway lesson. I scheduled two highway lessons to build confidence in my driving. My instructor’s name was Helen; she was an excellent instructor. She explained very well how to drive defensive & safe on the highway. I will definitely miss her as my instructor since I am now well fit to drive on my own after taking a class at this school. I would definitely encourage anyone who hasn’t scheduled for classes to do so at this school.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are great and very helpful. I recently took lessons with Apolinar and Raphael who gave great instructions and feedback. They offer pickup for lessons so I would highly recommend this driving school for anyone looking to get their license.

Positive experience: The instructors are really good but they never have space to book you a class they only care about money save your time and money.

Negative experience: Did not have such a great experience here for several reasons. Also classes are very short for the amount they charge. Those 45 minutes are gone in traffic in broadway. Driving teachers are nice, not so much the staff at the office. I found a better place with more time for the same price and more polite staff.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the way me and my boyfriend were treated there. They want to charge a fee for anything. My boyfriend attended his second road test and was could not be seen because he forgot his glasses, which is understandable. But the driving school said he now has to pay a fee because he was turned away from the road test. I thought this was ridiculous, I explained to them that no where in any of the papers that we signed says you have to pay a fee for being turned away at the road test. There is a fee for NO SHOW even though he was there but according to them he is considered a no show because he didnt get to drive, EVEN THOUGH THIS RULE IS NOT WRITTEN DOWN ON ANY OF THEIR PAPERWORK THAT YOU HAVE TO SIGN. Nobody informed him of this, only afterwards. They could have at least gave him a courtesy and waved the fee since this is a rule they failed to tell us about, nor is it included in their paperwork. The woman that saw me was extremely rude and unprofessional towards me, lacks knowledge of the place she works in. She tried to show me their rules again where it says he has to bring his glasses to the road test I explained to her that I can see that And I told her AGAIN to show me where it says you charge a fee for not bringing glasses or being turned away at the road test because of this! Her superior was much more polite but they refused to wave the fee...beware if you attend here they will try and charge a fee for things that are not even on their fine print!! You are better off going to easy to learn driving school in Amsterdam.

Fantastic experience: I took the 6 classes package with Rafael, was a 5 stars experience. He gives to you a good explanation and points references of how to do all the maneuvers and he is also very patient and polite the whole time. The whole staff is friendly, very helpful and helped me to accommodate my classes and my exam to my crazy schedule. Everything turned great and I got my license in my first attempt. I highly recommend this school based on my experience.

I took a single class in 4 different schools l and I decided to buy a 20 lesson packet in this school because my daughter and her two friends took driving lessons there and all passed the road test on their first try. I highly recommend William. He is an excellent instructor. He is professional, patient, calm and respectful. During the lessons, he always displayed a pleasant attitude. Also, Stephany who works at the front desk is very attentive and accommodating. Overall, I had a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: Start Date Of CDL Journey : 3/12/22 Test date: 4/14/22 Status: PASSED My CDL Journey has had a lot of ups and downs. I came from another school where the instructors didn’t care about you and were always in a rush to teach you something and will get upset if you didn’t do something right. Once I signed up to this school the prices were just right, the instructors and the staff cared about you, they are very hands on with the students. The instructor that I took classes was with PATRICK, he’s very very very good, very patient, and very passionate about his job. He puts you in a position to win, and he actually cares about his students.
