Negative experience: Strongly NOT Recommended. I strongly advise against using Seagull Institute for driving lessons. My friend had a terribly frustrating and unfair experience with them. On the day of the driving test, they intentionally sent a car that was broken and not fit for the test. To make things worse, it was a completely different car than the one my friend had been practicing in, causing a lot of confusion and stress. As a result, my friend failed the test, which was devastating after all the hard work and preparation. This experience has caused significant emotional distress, and understandably, my friend is upset. The lack of professionalism and honesty from Seagull Institute is appalling. It seems like they purposely set my friend up to fail, which feels like a scam. Please, save yourself the trouble and avoid this driving school. There are many reputable options out there. Don't make the same mistake my friend did. Seagull Institute is not trustworthy.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test on the first try thanks to this school. My instructor was Howard and he was the best. I always felt very comfortable and encouraged. My biggest issue was parallel parking and Howard managed to explain it to me in a way that allowed me to park perfectly every time. The 5 hour class was also very informative and you can tell every instructor at this school cares for their students.

I went in having some driving experience from driver’s education in my Highschool but I still wasn’t completely comfortable behind the wheel. I decided I wanted to get my license before going off to college and I had Mr Howard as my driving instructor. I recommend him because without his help I wouldn’t have passed my test. Negative experience: Had a good experience with the 5 hour course. However, when I booked a driving lesson I made it clear I was I only available before 12 and they assigned me to Rachel who could only meet Fridays at 2 pm. When I took my lesson with her she gave me no instruction on parking or making u-turn. She cut it from 45 mins to 30. Plus her car was disgustingly dirty with dried boogers on the dash. Her car had extremely weak acceleration and messed up brakes. They obviously don’t care what kind of car you drive at driving school here. Do not recommend her as a teacher, absolute waste of time.

Thanks to him for being very patient with me and making me understand the techniques for safe driving. In the 5-hour class, he explained in detail all the rules of the road which he revised during driving classes. This really helped me a lot. I was amazed at how much of patience he has with nervous drivers like me in teaching, motivating, giving confidence, and making this possible. If you are very nervous, have no car, and, have no experience of being in a car so much, Mr. Gul is the best teacher you got. I had no idea how to drive and Mr.gul was amazing he not only teaches you how to drive but to drive like a professional he loves his job and will make you love driving. Positive experience: Not bad, the only con is I feel if I had Gull I wouldn’t have had to pay for so many classes. Also I was taught to park for my second to last class after paying for like 15 classes. I passed my road test still, but l don’t remember how to park so I rent a car now to practice myself.

Fantastic experience: My experience with this driving school was excellent! The 5 hour zoom class was informative and very interactive. Mr. Gul facilitated the class and he was an excellent instructor as well. He has patience and is there to guide you to being a great driver. His 25+ years of experience and professionalism helped me pass my road test on my first try!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Seagull Driving school! Gul facilitated my 5 hour course, he made it easy to understand and not as boring as it typically would be! My driving instructor was Howard, he was very communicative throughout the whole process. He truly does a great job, whether you’re a nervous first time learner or an experienced one. Great teaching style! - I would recommend them to anyone who asks! Oh, and btw I passed my road test on the first try! Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: This driving school is amazing! I had Gul as my driving instructor and I went from not knowing how to drive to passing my road test the first time! He is a bit strict at times but he teaches you not only to pass the road test, but to be a good driver. I highly recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: mr. advani is an amazing teacher. he’s very friendly, patient, informative, understanding, professional and a good motivator. he makes good jokes to make you feel relaxed. he doesn’t only make sure you pass your road test but makes sure you’re always gonna be a good driver.

Fantastic experience: Gyl was amazing! Someone who gets to know you .. your flaws and your stronger sides. He helps you learn that skills that you will never forget. I used to come from a different county for classes with him just because I felt so comfortable and I trusted him with my learning progress. Finally - hard work payed of the road test was passed and I get to drive .. today with more confidence and awareness!

Fantastic experience: I took lessons from Mr. Gul Advani and passed my road test in first attempt. I am a new driver and never thought that I could do it in my first test. Mr. Gul had been keen on improvising my skills on each class and made sure that I learnt them well. Though the initial lessons might be little hard for a beginner but eventually gets better. It has been truly a memorable experience with the driving school. I would definitely recommend this school for those who wants to get their license to drive in Bronx/New York City. Fantastic experience: Seagull driving school has one of the best driving instructors (mr.advani). Mr.Advani will insure that you will pass your test. The prices are very affordable compared to other schools. I passed my road test first try with Mr.Advani. He also has a very nice new car (2021)
