Negative experience: Great driving school but they've had a data breach of some sort. The debit card I used exclusively with them has had fraudulent charges.

Fantastic experience: I had Beth as my Driving instructor!!! Supper blessed!!! she has wonderful patience, give me great pointers, and I was comfortable, having a good time during my lesson I definitely recommend Beth to any driver!!!!

Fantastic experience: I took lessons with Amar & passed in my first attempt at the Alma DMV. He was really knowledgeable and knew exactly what examiners look for in the test, as well as all the common mistakes students make. Thanks to his coaching & honest feedback, I was able to overcome my weaknesses and was really prepared on test day. Highly recommend choosing Amar as your instructor. Overall, Advantage driving school was great, it was all very organized and structured & their customer service was great too.

Negative experience: I am very fortunate to announce that I an relieved to never coming to this location ever again, My 15 year old Michelle-Molly They/Them who has Severe Autism just had a break out, Not only was she treated poorly by the staff because of how she looks she also was discriminated because of where she was born, And on top of that her driving training instructor had 2 no shows claiming that she came even when we were sitting on the porch for more than half an hour, this visit plus my extremely horrible costumer experience I will never bring Michelle back to here ever again until I die

Fantastic experience: I took 2 lessons with Gilberto, he was cool, clam, and explain well on how to take test. Also the cars are nice and clean too, everything work fine. Then took the test with Amar from the same school, he gave me tips and explained me well. I passed the test in first attempt.

Fantastic experience: Often when someone does such a good job at their chosen profession, they describe it as an art. Others, when precision is used, describe it as a science. Advantage driving does both, they take an artist-like, scientific approach to teaching your kid how to drive. My son came home full of facts and knowledge and a child-like wonder for his new-found skillset; driving. He quickly used his superior knowledge set to call out both mine and the wife's inability to follow every law to the letter. Thanks? Anyhow, I digress. Our son had a blast learning not only how to drive, but the facts that go along with it. I could not recommend this company enough. P.S. my son got a 97% on his test. So, yeah, thats the ADVANTAGE!

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids learned to safely drive and pass the test with Advantage. All the instructors were professional and awesome.

Positive experience: First off, I would like to say the majority of the instructors were pretty good. I don’t think it was acceptable on one of his driving lessons, though when an instructor drove him back to the Advantage driving schools location over by Oakridge Mall and left him sitting in the car so he could go in and heat up his lunch. Considering I’m paying for that lesson, I most certainly do not think it’s acceptable for the instructor to go ahead and take his lunch break in the middle of the lesson. The other thing I will say is the availability for lessons is very limited. You have to book so far in advance to lock down a day and time it’s actually very frustrating. when your kid has afterschool activities or sports and they’re only availability is the weekends, but you only offer Saturday lessons which are booked pretty much immediately when they become available it makes things difficult.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took 3 lessons with Jeff and she said he was a good and nice instructor. It was easy to schedule, he was always on time and most importantly he gave her the confidence she needed. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I have very limited knowledge of driving and needed a lot of help. I was lucky to get Gilberto M. as my instructor. He was very patient and helped me develop my confidence in driving. He made sure that the two hour class session I paid each time I booked a lesson would be worthy and productive. He provided me with clear directions during practice and constructive feedback at the end of each session, which helped me correct my mistakes. He helped me a lot as I prepare for the DMV test. Thanks to Gilberto, I passed the test. I’m also thankful to the ADS staff for easy scheduling and payment transactions. I highly recommend Advantage Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I had Beth as my driving instructor for all three lessons. She provides very good information on how to drive also while making it super fun! I was able to pass my drivers test with 100% and ZERO deductions. She was super helpful and answers every question you throw at her. If you book here, book Beth!

Fantastic experience: My twin girls recently completed their lessons with Advantage Driving School and went on to pass their behind the wheel tests on the first try! The instructors were kind, knowledgeable, on time, and professional. We would certainly recommend.

Positive experience: My review would be for 3.5 stars. It was fairly easy to sign up for the 3 mandatory classes for team however I had issues with payment as well as no one reading notes left with booking. My teen is doing quite well on the city streets so I wanted the instructor to concentrate on highway driving. Unfortunately, no one read the note and the last class was just city streets.

Fantastic experience: The customer service is very good. The instructor is on time. If they got delayed, they called us immediately for other options. We had a very good experience for our children.

Fantastic experience: My Son had Gilberto M for all 4 lessons with him and passed the 1 try!!! He was so patient and my son felt so safe with him. He told us what needed to improve after every session and took him to do test at the location and told us he would pass!! And he did!! Thank you~~ Gilberto~~~

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Advantage Driving School. Although I already knew how to drive, I needed to familiarize myself with driving rules in the US. Jeff and Amardeep were brilliant instructors, effectively teaching me these rules. The ADS team was also very helpful with rescheduling and payment issues; just give them a call. Thanks to Amardeep and Jeff, I passed my test on the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: The instructor made my daughter feel very comfortable behind the wheel. He took her out on the freeway on the second lesson and a test run at the DMV where she was going to test on the third lesson. She passed on the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: This is edited from my previous review and I want to comment that ADS team has done an exceptional job at taking care of their customers. Their online booking system is kinda tricky and caused overcharge. My plan was to call them in the morning but they reached me first and was able to resolve my concern with no issue or difficulty. This will be my second time booking through them and they've made it a great experience. I highly recommend them for your child BTW driving. Keep up the good work guys.

Positive experience: My daughter had a great experience with this driving school. It was affordable, offered the free online portion when we signed up for the three behind the wheel lessons and the instructors were great. My daughter had a couple lessons with Gilberto M. and a lesson with Leisa H. We plan on buying more lessons from this school. Just make sure to schedule as many months in advance as you can, since they do get booked out fast!

Fantastic experience: We signed up our son with Advantage and it was great! We initially had Gilberto M. Unfortunately, he was not available again before my son's driving examination. Gilberto and I spoke at the end of our son's lesson about some instructor recommendations. Since my son knew how to drive by then, he recommended Noel E. as being an excellent instructor. And so we did! I met both instructors at our doorstep. They were very professional and helped our son pass his driving test. Both instructors taught my son everything he needed to know about driving safe. Gilberto was very cordial and talkative. He told my son not to be nervous for his driving exam as the examiners are more nervous than he is. That made him feel better. Noel was very technical/informative yet bashful. He taught my son many maneuvers and techniques that made a huge difference on his driving before his test. My son felt comfortable with both instructors and learned a lot from both of them. And he PASSED! I'll be recommending this school. Thanks again Noel and Gilberto!

Fantastic experience: did all 3 of my driving lessons here, all of my instructors were very nice and i feel like i learned a lot from them- like apparently i didn’t know how to check my blind spot?!?! very important to know i passed my behind-the-wheel test on the first try.

Positive experience: Great company had one small mishap with the first appt that the instructor never showed up but we were able to recover and get another instructor and the subsequent lessons were great. We have a tall driver and the company was able to accommodate him with a larger training car.

Positive experience: Overall a good experience with ADS. The instructors were cordial and the website made booking lesson times convenient. I gave only 4 stars because my son failed the DMV test his first time because he missed an “unprotected intersection.” Of course, my son’s fault, but the instructor should have given special warning considering not yielding is an automatic fail.

Negative experience: Had a issue with a instructor and was told in order to get a refund I needed to take down my bad review. Do not take your kids here there is wayyyy better driving schools. I moved my kid to another school after the instructor made him feel uncomfortable and when brought the attention of the school. Randy basically said it was my kids fault for him feeling that way. Not okay

Negative experience: IF you can go to any other school go the boss does not care about your kid he only looks at you like $$$ and there's cheaper and better schools. there's a reason most of they're drivers leave within a year. do not I repeat do not go to this school. i promise you there is way better schools that are safer and more orientated towards your child.

Negative experience: The customer service was awful. Unfortunately, my driver was over 30minutes late. I never received a courtesy call. When I called, they treated me as if I had inconvenienced them. I let them know that I had moved everything around in my schedule and their services aren’t cheap. I wasn’t trying to get my son free training! The woman on the phone mouthed off and said I should’ve looked elsewhere. That wasn’t the point! Their driver was very late and there was no communication. We had to cancel. They were rude and unapologetic and I was made to feel like I was the problem. Not cool.

Fantastic experience: Easy to use website and we had great instructors.

Fantastic experience: Bobby Montalvo is a stellar driving instructor and also a wonderful and personable human being. He truly cares about his students and goes above and beyond. My daughter passed her driving test on the first try thanks to Bobby's fastidious coaching and instruction.

Fantastic experience: Waited until after my son’s behind the wheel test, which was today, to leave a review. He not only passed on his first try…. He passed with ZERO Errors! That certainly helps to put a nervous parent’s fears to rest. His 3rd and final lesson was with instructor Michael Moy. My son thought he was the very best instructor, and I appreciated Michael’s chat with me after this final lesson was completed. Thank you for teaching my son!

Fantastic experience: With Advantage, it was easy to book and pay for driving sessions online. There were many instructors available and it was a breeze to find times that fit our schedule. I also called a few times before enrolling with Advantage and they were very helpful in answering questions, not just about driving lessons, but also about the DMV process for getting our son his license. Advantage staff were very helpful and our son passed his driving test on the first try!

Positive experience: Driving instructors were all very nice, patient, and personable. Only problem was the condition of some of the cars, which could be mildly distracting. Good experience all around though!

Negative experience: My instructors were good except for one. I don't remember his name but he made me drive to Starbucks to pick up his drink. It turned out that it was at a different location so I waited for about 10-15 minutes alone in the parking lot while he had his drink made. What a waste of time and money. Very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I had a great learning experience , my instructor was Mohsen Khaziri. He was very patient with in his teachings and guided by demonstrating best practices and going over them and repeatedly practicing them till I got it correct.

Fantastic experience: Michael is so smart, interesting to talk to, and a great instructor. From my first time getting in the car with him I learned to drive in the 2 hour session, went on the freeway for the first time, and far more. He has been a great help, and a really smart, interesting man. As for Advantage itself, the website design could use work, but the customer service is great.

Also shoutout to Dakota who was a great and patient instructor herself and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them. Don’t remember all the instructor names off the top of my head, but overall great school with great teachers!

Fantastic experience: I booked a lesson for March 23, 2023 my instructor was Albert he was very well informative on his teaching and support during the entire lesson definitely would recommend to anyone starting out , relearning, or refresher to driving will most likely book another lesson when I’m ready soon. Overall would recommend to a family or friend. 10/10 for service and quality.

Beth Ahlquist, our instructor, was the absolute best. She was knowledgable, kind, patient, and went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. Our son really enjoyed having her as his instructor. Fantastic experience: My son took driving lessons through Advantage Driving School and we had a great experience. It was easy to schedule everything online and I found the instructors to have a lot of availability, which helped with my teen's busy schedule. Gilberto was great with my son, and gave us tips each time my son had a lesson on what to work on. He was also very knowledgeable about driving laws, and what was needed to know in order to pass the test. I highly recommend Advantage Driving School and Gilberto as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today and I am happy I chose advantage driving school. I'm a 30 year old and did not know how to drive at all. My instructor was Dakota hays and she was very nice, patient and calm and explained everything very clearly; she explained some parts with drawings so I would have a better understanding. I would totally recommend her. One other good thing about advantage driving school is that you choose the pace of your learning. You can schedule your sessions on any dates you want as you start your learning journey.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Nobody answers their phone when they are clearly open. Unable to change pick up location for a driving test. Voicemail completely full. Don’t recommend this company.

Ethan, Jose, and Gilberto are really good driving instructors and each of them have their own unique ways of teaching. I got wayyyy better at driving after my lessons there and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Instructor Dakota Hayes is right person for the job.She is very good at what she does. Whenever I made an error, she would understand why I made that error and explain nicely with drawings. Very cool and calm person. Very encouraging too. She had more confidence in me than I did. I learned how to park, lane changes, u turns, staying on speed limit for lane changes, left turns at traffic stop, right turns, yeilding to oncoming traffic and all that in just 2 lessons.

Fantastic experience: I booked a refresher lesson with Adrian before my driving test at the DMV. Adrian was early and really helped calm me down and prepare for the test. I had loads of driving related questions and Adrian answered them all thoroughly. I definitely would recommend Advantage and Adrian, they helped me pass my test :)

Fantastic experience: Had my first lesson today with Noel. I was nervous, but he made the experience very comfortable and calm. He brought us to a quiet residential area to practice, which I appreciated. His direction was clear and his approach was very calm and confident—it really helped me to also feel calm and confident...or at least, calm and less nervous! The time passed by very quickly and I felt like I learned a lot. Looking forward to my next lesson with Noel in a few weeks time.

Fantastic experience: I am thankful that I chose Ms. Athena 100% Highly recommend, I felt nervous to do my driving lesson because it was my first time doing it with no experience. But she made me feel very confident about it. She was also fun to be with, kind, knowledgeable, smiling, happy and a very calm instructor, She made it exciting. Ms Athena also helped me a lot, she didn't yell at me, even if I made mistakes several times she has a lot of patience. If you can get her as your instructor you should do it. She's the perfect person to be your instructor. I have made my second schedule for driving lesson with her and I am look forward to it. Flor

Negative experience: I am very dissatisfied. I was told by the business that they do not communicate with their drivers which astonished me considering how much this service cost. Cristina Guillen was rude, unpleasant and hung up on me and my daughter twice. Claimed she received the wrong address from Advantage and then when we provided her our address claimed she didn’t serve our area. Marilyn Leon was late and ended our lesson 45 minutes early. I DO NOT recommend this driving school and urge anyone who is considering to keep checking.

Positive experience: I didn't plan to leave a review, but I'm leaving one just to shoutout Noel. I had him for my third and final lesson, and I cannot emphasize enough how good he is at helping you improve your driving and be prepared for your test. Here's some context first: Lesson 1, I had Emilio, who was cool and took me out on the road for the first time. He was patient and helpful, and he made me feel safe when all I'd done before that was parking lot laps. He was really particular with my parking, which was good -- it just made me better. Lesson 2, I had an instructor named John. Personally, he didn't help me: he didn't correct my driving much and mainly just talked. At times he'd seize my wheel and move it for me instead of verbalizing how I could improve. I don't want to speak badly of him -- he was nice -- but I really didn't learn anything during that lesson, nor did I feel like I had gotten my money's worth. So by lesson 3, I was pretty behind. I'm so, so grateful I had Noel teaching me for my last lesson. When we started, I told Noel my test was the next day, and he picked up pretty quickly that I wasn't as ready as I should've been. He caught me up on stuff John didn't go over with me AND helped me prep for my test; he gave me additional resources to study, advice for my specific DMV, and went over the score sheet with me. He improved my driving a ton in just 2 hours. At some point I told him that if I passed my test tomorrow (which was earlier today at Santa Teresa), then he was a god. I don't know if Noel is ever gonna see this, but dude, you're a god. Passed my test today with 2 mistakes. I'd give Advantage about 3 stars because of some strange customer service experiences I had and my second lesson, but Noel is just so awesome. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a patient, knowledgable, and constructive instructor. He seriously goes above and behind! Emilio is a great guy too.

Fantastic experience: My Daughter had lessons here with instructior Albert for all 3 Lessons very Professional and detailed, and Helpful in all areas that she had Questions on very pleased with our Experience would recommend . She had her Dvm Driving Test 2Wks Ago She Passed She License Driver Thank Advantage Driving School

Negative experience: It was extremely difficult to get appointments because: 1) the website didn’t work unless I was in Firefox or Chrome. Not even on my phone. I got NaN and null information for the date and time. 2) I had to select each individual instructor to see their available times instead of being able to see them all at once or in some sort of calendar form. 3) Appointments weren’t available for almost 2 months that weren’t during the day or on weekends. 4) Majority of available slots were during school hours which isn’t great for a 16 year old. Other issues: 1) We got random confirmation emails days, weeks, months after canceling and rescheduling appointments. I will say my son loved Albert, his instructor, which is awesome because seemed to be the only one with afternoon time slots so that was lucky.

Fantastic experience: I'm just so thankful to my 3 instructors Adrian, Noel and Michael. You guys are amazing! I passed my behind the wheel on the first try, I still can't believe it! Positive experience: My daughter had a great experience with this driving school, very professional, and friendly. My daughter took her driving DMV test in Los Gatos, however, did not pass, but I heard (no one) passes at this location! We had a very rude and not friendly instructor, not even a hello. I heard they try to collect an additional fee for the second go around, so beware.

Negative experience: Please, if you care about your safety and the safety of others, do NOT take lessons with ADRIAN VO! Please read this entire review, I am genuinely worried for people's safety and do not want something similar to happen to other people. I see a lot of good reviews mentioning him, but they aren't recent, so maybe Adrian used to be good and now isn't anymore? Adrian taught me what I thought was correct information--only for my dad and also the DMV test administrator to panic and fear for their lives. They told me that I had been taught completely incorrectly, and showed me the actual CORRECT ways of driving. We almost got into a CAR ACCIDENT because of me following what Adrian taught me, and I am NOT exaggerrating. My dad noticed how much worse a driving I became after taking Adrian's lessons, and now I'm busy correcting myself and learning from a new instructor at another driving school, as well as looking online for tips. I have a LOT to correct myself on after Adrian introduced me to a ton of misinformation.

Fantastic experience: This is our second time having Advantage help our children learn to drive. Love how flexible and accommodating they were with our schedule, and they really went above and beyond making sure we completed the course before the DMV test. The driving instructors are knowledgable, encouraging, and supportive.

Fantastic experience: My 15 year old daughter did her required driving school with Advantage. They were great to work with and scheduled the lessons at a time convenient for my daughter. They picked her up at the house, she had three great lessons and everyone was happy.
