Fantastic experience: Amazing staff and instructors. They really take the time to make sure you know your stuff and how to apply it. Highly recommend this place to anyone who has absolutely no experience. Money well spent!!

Fantastic experience: I am extremely grateful to my instructors Janet, Josh, Daniel, Bill, Bert, Robert, and yes even 'Scary Sam' for sticking with me, for believing in me when I didnt believe in myself, for putting me in my place when I needed a bit of a mental attitude adjustment, and for being all around great and encouraging folks. Your voices are what got me through my CDL manuvers test - sorry for the rough shifting there, Mr. Robert.... Yall were like family to me and I was actually sad to get in my car and leave! Thank you for being genuinely excited and proud of me when I passed my CDL exam. I celebrated all of my classmates and, being one of the last ones to go, it was extremely heartwarming when my instructors celebrated with me when no one was left. Before my father passed away Dec 2023 I had promised him I was going to look after myself and get myself straight in life. He passed before I could get my CDL. Coming here I was a bit of an emotional wreck with everything riding on my shoulders though this. Sorry for the watery eyes at times! This was, in no exaggeration, the hardest three weeks Ive ever experienced in any form of education. When they say they will make sure youre ready, they MEAN it. That lot quite literally has my blood, sweat, and tears now! I dont feel like I was shoved through out of 'pity' or as a sort of 'money grab' I feel like I actually earned my CDL and I am VERY proud of my acomplishments! Thank you to everyone for not only supporting me but for kicking my butt in gear when I needed it. PACK FOR THE SEASON YOURE AT SCHOOL FOR. December was BITTER. You will be outside in the elements for weeks two and three. Plan accordingly! Lastly - GET IN THE DAMN TRUCK! Dont let nerves eat at you in second week. Get in the truck. Get in as much as you are able to. I mean it. It all comes together. As for housing the standards are much higher now than they were years ago. No more carpet, nothing was raggety or dirty, everything worked and when stuff didnt work (garbage disposal wasnt working right) the crew at TTDS got it fixed up THAT day. My stay was comfortable and im grateful that this resource was available to me. I WILL say if you plan to use the housing program heres some tips for students: 1. Bring a few rolls of quarters. The laundry machines are 1.50 per load and a few of the dryers dont dry very well. 2. During my stay there were no shuttles available for transportation so plan on your own form of transport. (Dec) 3. Classes begin every Monday so plan on the potential of someone walking into your housing around 7-8PM 4. Bring ear plugs. Some people are inconsiderate of others when sharing a living space. Ear plugs ensure you get enough sleep. 5. Toilet paper, cleaning supplies, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, non-slip bathmat, allergy meds - grab those. 6. Just be mindful of others! Fantastic experience: As a recent graduate of Tennessee Truck Driving School, I can confidently say that it is a top-notch program for aspiring truck drivers. From the moment you arrive at the school to the day you receive your commercial driver's license (CDL), the staff and instructors are dedicated to helping and teaching you. The program is short, only three weeks, but the days are long and intensive. However, if you listen to and practice what is being taught, you will excel. David, the in-class instructor, is amazing, although he may sometimes be a (5-year-old kid). In week 2, Josh provides valuable lessons and reminders (Yeah Yeah Boys!) while Bill in week 3 emphasizes the importance of avoiding (jack knifing his truck). The driving instructors, Sam, Bert, and Jeff, are all great as well, but be sure to study your gears to fully succeed. Overall, Tennessee Truck Driving School is an excellent place to learn and have fun while doing so.

All the staff, Dawn,Josh,Daniel,Bill,Bert,Robert,Sam were all great people! They make sure that you leave there with those license! Fantastic experience: I had a great time there at the school, 15 days of training and you’ll have your CDL license. Thank you Jason and Bill for excellent training in the yard for 10 days. I recommend getting your CDL permit before you go, it makes things go more smoothly in week 1 classroom. Also thank you Robert, who was my CDL instructor for the test, very professional and kind person, also very respectful. Chris is an excellent recruiter, answered all my questions I had in need!!! The yard trucks could’ve used a good wash, but other than that, I had no complaints whatsoever. Thank you again Jason, Bill, Robert and Chris for all yall have done. I’m on my OTR training now. Thanks a lot guys

Fantastic experience: This school sets you up to pass the permit and the CDL tests. The average person will appreciate that and the long hrs are worth it! No idea how they got that much information and knowledge into my head as fast as they did but it worked! I passed on the first try and would recommend this school to anyone seeking a Class A or B CDL!

Fantastic experience: I attended the Tennessee truck driving school back in the beginning of August if you’re looking to get your CDLthis School is definitely one of the better places to go My week two instructors Johnny and Dan were absolutely amazing and had all the skills and patience to teach us what we needed to be efficient in our new career my week 3 Instructor Justin absolutely top-notch and my driving instructor Jeff was patient in Teaching my class how to drive and be safe on the road thank you to all you guy for helping me get my CDL and thank you to the school for having amazing teachers

Negative experience: I went to this school alittle over a month ago. This school is set up to give minimal drive training with maximum price tag. They had some issues and offered me a refund which is the only true benefit i got from this school. Be prepared to actually drive on the road 4hrs rest will be watching others. Go to TCAT save thousands and actually be trained. Thanks for banning me from this school for no reason well atleast non that was told to me other then per Owner who i never meet or talked to. Joke of a school. Check out there sister school that got closed down for not having proper licensing on one of there instructors. Look elsewhere for proper training.

Fantastic experience: Tennessee/Tampa truck driving school are the best. 4 years ago I received my CDL in Tampa. The instructors were all great. They are real truck drivers with real stories. They teach you that safety is not a convenience and if you stick to the fundamentals that they teach you won’t have many issues out on the road. I received an automatic restriction on my CDL & the folks in Tampa told me that whenever I want to get it removed just call them & get it set up and they’ll do it for free. You still have to take the pretrip backing & road tests however you get 3 attempts & they are free. I was unable to get to Tampa for my test but 4 years later the people over in Tennessee allowed me to park my truck & test there. Which was a lot to ask but they had not problem at all. I know these instructors could make more money out here on the road but they choose to spend more than 12 hours a day training students because they genuinely care. Robert in Tennessee told me after I passed my test that if I ever have any problems out here on the road to give them a call & they will not hesitate to assist in any way they can. They really treat you like family there. It’s not just another school trying to take your money & get you out. They will fail you if you do not perform. But they will correct your mistakes & take more time with you 1 on 1 if that’s what you need. Bottom line, if you cannot pass their school it is not because of the training team. It’s definitely on you. Thank you Tennessee/Tampa Truck Driving School. I couldn’t have done it without you guys. The administrative staff are very friendly & will answer any questions you have. Students & future students look no further. You are in good hands here trust me.

Fantastic experience: I can not express the knowledge the instructors have. They took the time to make sure that everyone understood everything. I would recommend Tennessee Truck Driving School to anyone and everyone because I know they will succeed. Sam is the man! He took his time and was very patient with me. Day one driving I was horrible but listening and taking his advice and tips on what I was doing wrong I was able to confidently pass my road exam and pre trips.

Fantastic experience: Excellent school to train at for CDL. I upgraded from an B to an A. Hugh shout out to David and Bill. Was close to giving up a couple of times cause I could not do offset and 90 degree parking to save my life and they both took me and told me and showed me and got me calmed down and nailed it left right and center after that. Sam will make you think, and with his guidance you will pass. Robert will make taking the test nerves go away before your test and during the test. Dawn is the class room instructor, makes the class fun but serious at the same time. Long days but well worth it in the end. Put the work in and you will not have a problem passing your CDL. Everyone at the school is awesome. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: They helped me so much with getting my CDL and the instructors were awesome and ready to teach. Might go back after a couple of years and be an instructor myself. Don't quite know yet. Everyone there was awesome to get to know. Future students see you out there. Be the spounge and take everything in.

Fantastic experience: Loved the instructors, every single one of them pushed me to be my absolute best. The housing is about 25-30 minutes out, even though I was told it was 10-15 minutes away. Not a huge deal though, just be prepared for that. David and Robert were phenomenal at reinforcing everything we were taught. Dawn was amazing, Skittles and Josh both kept it real and blunt, and Mark and Jeff are really just kind-hearted. 9.5/10 I don't regret attending this school at all.

Fantastic experience: This was an excellent place to learn the basics of how to drive the big rigs , and get a CDL Class " A " license. All of our instructors were great , they not only taught you properly but made it fun too. Negative experience: It was a rough experience being outdoors for 12 hours. The dust is pretty bad to inhale for all that time getting alot of us sick. Definitely need to utilize our time in the class and outdoor maneuvers better, more theory info for both. I think with more ways to learn would be easier for first time drivers. Extra visuals plus keeping conversations more professional and not derogatory to ppls preferences, hygiene or overall favoritism. Thank you to the instructors who were actually doing their job!

Negative experience: My experience was definitely different in the fact that I was told from day one that this school helped everyone on different levels of learning. Let me say that was not the case in my experience. I was told when booking they didn't have housing available for me so I had to drive 1.5 hrs back and forth which gave me no study time at home with 12 hr days. 3rd I was finally given it for the last week only to not be told I would share a bdrm with someone. When I cancelled my room due to not being told I was told in Lindsey's office it wasn't the Ritz Carlton which was rude as I wasn't expecting that but was expecting privacy. I have dyslexia which is a different way of learning but was told my disability by multiple staff. It was also written off as it's all in my head and I was thinking too hard and beating myself up when essentially being beat down by these folks to the point I locked up. I got started in the game later than my other classmates due to failing the test twice but already knew I'd struggle so I was ok and joe was great to me but was never given a fighting chance as I was just handed material and said study while everyone else was 4days into the next week and had learned so much and had study partners . I made several attempts in telling them I needed help and continued to be diagnosed as to what my problem was rather than truly be listened to. I had one instructor Josh to just pass me through which he was nice and understood, I had one instructor who got pissed whenever you screwed up Sam who tried to test me knowing I was days behind the others at learning and was told by me I wasn't ready. and another instructor David who was so stuck on diagnoseing me and telling me what my problem was and wouldn't listen and shut up. I have never been treated so badly and had they understood I was 4 days behind everyone else and I told each of them. I wouldn't be writing this but your company does not accommodate folks who struggle. Me and another guy felt like black sheep cause he came in late too. I left right before my 3rd week was done because I was being pushed and proded and wasn't ready. They wanted me to come back and finish which I agreed to but then cancelled because I knew this place had issues and wanted to be treated with dignity and respect that I wasn't given. I sent emails that I was struggling and spoke to countless people about me struggling and then was told we had no idea you were struggling by Janet even though she was nice to me and needed help. Seriously??I was given a 1,000 discount if I paid right away and was told we aren't here for the money we just want you to succeed. Really? I still paid 5200 bucks for two weeks of disrespect and condescending behavior. Do better Tennessee truck driving school!

Fantastic experience: Going there was the best decision I've made..the moment I walked in it was family and they all want you to succeed.. I was NEVER bullied to drive for anyone they even tell you they will help you for life if you want to drive somewhere else. Lindsey,David,Jo,Josh,Dan,Shawna,SAM, Dawn and Robert Janet Every person there is the greatest You have to want it and listen they will not do anything to steer you wrong.. I love the school and everyone in it Ashley and any name I forgot. Y'all taught me how to be a truck driver and I love you all I can never thank y'all enough for changing my life even when I about gave up. Everyone had my back thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I started TTDS on August 14, 2023, and all I can say is… Wow! All of the instructors that I had at this school were exceptionally amazing at what they did, and how they taught it. I had Jo, and Dawn for week one classroom, and they were amazing at how much they can pump into your brain in just four days. Week two I had Josh, and Matt for my instructors which Josh excelled in a multitude of ways, and helped out clearing up some questions, and confusion on my end. From week one to week two you go from classroom to outside. If you go to this school in the summertime I suggest sun screen, water, an umbrella, and water. Did I forget to mention water? This is Tennessee after all! For week three my instructors were Shauna, Dawn, and Dan. Dan taught excellently on the 90 degree back, and Shauna, and Dawn were very informative with the driving portion. Nothing bad to say about these three, they know what they are doing, you just gotta listen, and ask questions if you’re confused about anything. When I tested out of TTDS I got Sam for my examiner. Nothing but good things to say about this guy. Very informative when you ask him questions. Don’t let his rough and tough exterior give you the wrong impression, according to Alaska Ron, Sam is an onion, he has many layers. All in all I want to thank TTDS for everything they taught me. I am on my way to a better, and hopefully, lifelong career. Remember this: this school is a pre-hire interview, they report everything about you to your employer they set you up with so don’t treat this like a place you can just… not pay attention, for a lack of better words. So PAY ATTENTION. Don’t give up, give it your all, and you’ll pass. If you don’t pass the first time, eh, try try again. There is no fail, only attempts.

Fantastic experience: I started attending this school on 8/14/23. From the first moment i arrived in class, i was blown away by the professionalism and energy of the instructors/management staff. It is a very efficient and effective process. I had Joe and Dawn for my in class portion, and I'd just like to say they made it a extremely enjoyable experience! You can absolutely tell they enjoy what they do and strive to be engaging. My second week was a struggle due to the weather I would suggest being prepared with plenty of water sunblock and a chair with an umbrella As you will be at the mercy of the elements the entire time. My instructor for week 2 was Joshua he is another excellent teacher and made it enjoyable even know it was miserably hot out there. He went above and beyond to make sure you where proficient in your backing skills aswell as your pre trip inspection. Week 3 was alot better weather wise but it was very busy alot of knowledge needed to be learned from your more advanced backing maneuvers to your incab pretrip inspection. My instructors where Dan and Sam, both where very efficient in there teaching methods and made cramming all these final skills easy. I rather enjoyed learning to drive with sam he is a very lean teacher. He teaches you exactly what you need to succeed and keeps it interesting. He has a pretty rough R. lee ermy way about him however that is exactly what is needed. Remember we are learning to drive a 80000 lbs spicy missle so listen closely and do exactly what he says when he says and youll be fine. You may even find out like we did he is awesome and has one heck of a sense of humor. I have found that this school gives you all the tools and time you need to be successful in this industry it is up to you and only you to utilize them to there full potential. P s. There student services department is amazing aswell. They will handle everything for you for life to get you placed with awesome companies. Positive experience: The equipment needs to be maintenance and repaired. But as far as the staff goes. They are all great. Very personal. This is a great school to get your CDL training. A+ staffing.

Fantastic experience: Went here June of 2017. Enjoyed the informal instructors. They all worked with you if you had any issues. Been driving over 6 years now. 3 weeks is enough to pass the test and learn the basics. The real learning comes from experience on the road so take your time. Glad I went through with getting my CDL. Made $2,000-$3,000 a week net in the oilfield back in 2019 as a company driver. You can make money in trucking, just gotta find the right places to go. Keep the shiny side up and dirty side down. Hammer down drivers!

Fantastic experience: I had nothing but great experiences while in school . There are too many awesome ppl to list separately at the facility. Mrs Janet in the office took time out of her busy schedule to help me with a personal issue that had nothing to do with the school. It's clear that all the instructors are there because they care and want ppl to be safe . I struggled a little with my incab inspection. It was like a team effort for all the instructors to make sure I got it. I truly feel I have all the knowledge I need to be safe on the road. So much in fact that I will be sending my son thru the school in the next couple of months. If you're thinking about getting your cdl I would definitely recommend this school..they aren't just there for a paycheck..hope that makes sense

Fantastic experience: If you're looking to get your CDL this is the place to go. They help you with job placement to help you pay for the school if you dont have up front cost. If you want to work somewhere else after working a place for a year or so they will always be there to help find you a company. If your not happy with the company that you're with or trainer they will help you get another company or a different trainer. They want you to succeed. Great staff and instructors listen and pay attention 3 weeks might seem like a long time but it goes by quick.

Prior to attending T.T.D.S, I knew nothing of the trucking industry, and had never operated such a large commercial vehicle. Fantastic experience: Just finished my 3 weeks of training! It was extremely hot out. All training was good. Trainers were good. Jo is amazing trainer. Sam, is far my favorite. He is straight forward and to the point. But he tells you what you need to work on and how to do it. Taylor was there at the start of my training as director, and now gone. She was awesome also. She wanted us to do well in the training. Altogether it was very good school. Difficult to unlearn bad habits but easy to pickup how to properly do it. I would recommend ttds to anyone who wants to get CDL. Remember it's like a job, be on time, and be interested in learning. P.s. we miss Taylor.

Fantastic experience: Awesome school, like any craft or trade u have to apply yourself it won't just come to you. They helped me and my family from day one. My truck broke down on the way, Taylor met me at the door said don't worry we will work it out and she did. Roger what can I say he is great awesome very knowledgeable and makes the in class fun. Fantastic experience: Nothing but respect for this school I had an amazing 3 weeks here met lots of amazing people and had a blast!! All the instructors were amazing props to David for being an amazing instructor taught me everything I needed to know in order to get my License on my first attempt the office people are outstanding they will work with you no matter what if it wasn’t for the Director Taylor that really worked with me in order for me to get a smooth start I don’t know what I would have done!! They are extremely respectful not once did any instructor and or the office disrespectful any of the students they care about their students and the best part is it was only 3 weeks and now I’m a certified CDL holder thank you for everything Tennesse Truck Driving School!! I would recommend anybody friends and family that want a CDL to attend this school!!

Fantastic experience: Tennessee truck driving school definitely isn’t for the faint of heart. It is a very hard class if you make it hard. The instructors are not gonna sit and baby you the whole time you are here. They shouldn’t have to it isn’t hs you’re an adult. You spend about 3 weeks here and it can be miserable at times, but it is very worth the money. They help line up jobs and help you any possible way that they can. There was multiple people in my class struggling to even straight back and they worked and worked and got them that passing cdl test. All though it feels like sometimes you’ll never get the hang of it trust the process. You have to want to pass the cdl test. All the instructors including the class room instructor Rodger will help you in anyway he possibly can. All you have to do is ask for the help. I’d say If you are serious about wanting to become a cdl certified truck driver this is a really good class to take

Fantastic experience: I just graduated today and I am lost for words! This place is absolutely amazing the instructors they breathe motivation for each and every single student that attends. Their mission is to pass everyone who comes in and they do everything they possibly can and then some to get you that CDL. Each and every instructor pushes you even more when you feel like you can’t do it because they know you CAN do it. Attend this school for the excellent experience that I had.

Fantastic experience: I just recently chose this school to get my cdl and it was better than I thought! The office staff are extremely nice and will make sure you get taken care of and the teachers are amazing and will really work with you and help you and go above and beyond to make sure you have all the knowledge and skills to have your cdl’s in three weeks! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: 11/4/2022 This review is real. If you follow instructions and work hard, you will get through this school and have your Class A CDL license in three weeks time. David T. is the BEST instructor. I can not praise or thank David enough for his professional training and guidance. This school is very blessed to have him on their team. Janet, Ms. Marlene, Preston, Bo, Dan, James, Aaron, Taylor & Robert were also extremely helpful in every way possible to help you obtain your license. Thanks to each and every one of you.

Positive experience: Recent reviews try to paint the school in a very negative way. I'll say with pure honesty that the school isn't perfect, but it's very far from horrible. I didn't stay in the housing since I'm local, but the guys in my class didn't have many complaints other than uncomfortable beds. The equipment and facilities are definitely rough, but when you have constant people in and out of them, thats going to happen. My only advice to the school would be to step up preventative maintenance rather than what appears to be just waiting for things to break. Obviously I don't work there so I can't say what actually goes on behind the scenes so maybe they actually do cover that. While I was there, they were having some staffing challenges, but every instructor I had except one was great, hands down. The one I didn't care for was a decent guy, just didn't like his teaching style. I made that concern known to some of the staff and moved on because overall, everything else went pretty good. Janet(sorry if I misspelled the name) was absolutely great. Richard, both Jasons, and Bo, and Marlene are fantastic people and deserve all the recognition they can get, maybe some raises, too. Tested with Robert, and even though he can't actually speak with you beyond giving instructions on how to proceed with the test, he has a very laid back demeanor and that made the test a lot less stressful. I didn't interact a whole lot with Taylor, the director, but she always was nice to us and respectful as far as I could tell. The best part of my time here was my class. They truly became like family to me during those three weeks, and we worked as a team at every chance we had. Everyone in our class passed their test on the first time, which is a testament to how hard we worked and how much we studied together. Like I said, this place definitely isn't perfect, but its far from horrible. Any issues they have, they have the potential to fix with the right efforts invested. May not be the right school for everyone, but you can definitely succeed here if you work hard and work together.

Positive experience: I would highly recommend if you want your CDL to come to the Tennessee truck driving school and get it they work with you it's going to be hard work it's 12 hours a day for 3 weeks the staff the instructors everybody has got good attitudes it's a great place to learn and when I get my truck I'm coming back and showing it off and thinking every single one of my instructors that help me get my CDL certification these last 3 weeks I don't care what anybody says all the staff at ttds the Tennessee truck driving school and all my fellow students that graduated with me are all family now and that's what Taylor would tell you when you're in there and you graduate your family and yeah we are all family now

Negative experience: Awful school just dig into the reviews the director hates to hve a negative review so much so she lies about a student to try and discredit them knowing that the school failed them I left a previous review and was lied about. I was called racist though I’m African American and made friends with EVERYONE INCLUDING THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF INSTRUCTORS. I was also FORCED TO STAY AN ADDITIONAL WEEK DUE TO LACK OF TRUCK AVAILABILITY ( which was awful due to the fact training isn’t paid like Swift(another truck school) plus the deplorable housing conditions) ( in the response i was told I should’ve checked into the local hotel which is where 5 men out of my class who were in Tennessee trucking school was forced to stay for 2 days due to a severe roach and bed bug infestation at the schools housing that hotel was also dealing with a roach problem as soo the guys who stayed their mentioned to the class(just not half as severe as the housing) The school dismissed me because I wanted to learn Manual and they weren’t adequately staffed with enough instructors or properly working Safe Trucks. I was told this school isn’t for me because I asked about the safety of the equipment that was leaking carbon monoxide into the cabin of the truck and lack of seatbelts. Yet the online response said I was threatening but that’s a violation of their policy and the policy says termination and no refund Yet I was fully refunded and Dissmissed not terminated ?? Yet my roommate who was also dismissed from the school for wanting her Hospital bills incurred during school hours due to getting a staphylococcus infection 3rd week of school from their deplorable housing was not. Smh PLEASE DON’T WASTE UR TIME, I graduated from FUTURE TRUCKERS OF AMERICA, A GREAT SCHOOL with EXCELLENT HOUSING OPTIONS. Minimum of 8 Instructors there to help you at any given time of the day. Patient, Respectful, Hardworking, Knowledgeable and WILL NOT GIVE UP ON YOU willing to go the Extra Mile, I hve my CDL A, Hazmat, Passenger, Tanker, Doubles, and Triples Endorsements thanks to this school!!!! Seriously read their reviews of Tennessee Truck driving school one bad review is questionable but multiple people saying the same thing CANNOT BE LYING NOR DISCREDITED no matter how much the response tried to discredit them. Just the fact the school responds with a persons PERSONAL BUSINESS IN A MALICIOUS MANNER SHOULD MAKE A POTENTIAL STUDENT THINK TWICE. I read a man had a heart attack from the stress from this school. DON’T Do it this might’ve been a good school 3 or 4 years ago ITS NOT NOW GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The school will keep you until payment processes then dismiss you But if they know they maybe able to be sued they dismiss you and you have to fight for a refund MOST NEVER GET IT I DID THANK THE LORD!!!!

Negative experience: Did a lot of research before attending, this school has A lot of great reviews. This is a horrible place to obtain a CDL A… I attended for 3 weeks only to find out extremely Poor Management, the director Taylor is a very bipolar individual. The instructors Besides Mr. Joe and Kevin are AWFUL with the exception of Beau (personally never trained with Beau). The trucks are raggedy leaking carbon monoxide in the Blue Volvo, Trucks are all in need of alignment (holding the wheel straight does not equal straight there are cuts in the steering wheel to let you know when it’s straight and even then due to the lack of steering fluid you will need superior arm strength as you will be turning a rock hard wheel ( definitely gained muscle). Trucks are always breaking down due to no Maintenance causing students to lose out on drive time/training. Be careful because the seatbelts are merely DECORATION as they DON’T WORK!! The only actual drive time you will get on the road consists of 3 days. In which you can be expected to receive two 30 minute increments each of the 3 days before you have ur DMV test. The classes are overbooked meaning 24 is their “Golden Number” there are 4 trucks to learn the maneuvers on week 2 and 2 trucks to practice your 90 degree backing on week 3. I would give no stars but Mr. Joe is a Spectacular man who managed to teach me how to drive!!! He alone is the reason the school received any stars that man NEEDS HIS OWN TRUCKING SCHOOL. Mr. Joe is the lowest paid HERO on his failing team of co-workers. Mr. Joe will NEVER give up on you!!! He will always be Patient and Respectful. The housing is terrible it’s what I imagine a crack house/ drug house to look like. Very dirty and not comfortable At All even though I brought my own sheets I still managed to get bit in my sleep. Bring foot wear for the tub still has sludge from the early 70’s. Lots of poison ivy and oak in the yard pls be careful. Also know this school will wait until wk 3 take ur $ & let you go.

Negative experience: This place is a puppy mill for cdl drivers the equipment is horrible, way over priced, and way to many people for a one class and not enough instructors. Only reason why it gets even one star is because the instructors are very knowledgeable but way over worked.

Negative experience: My husband graduated from Tennessee Truck Driving school and was going to work for a company called Skyline Transportation and they were going to be footin the bill for school for him. Well Skyline Transportation let him go after less than a month. Said that he was not learning their way to transport and now he is left owing the school $5,000!!!! He is actively looking for a job driving and needed a copy of his certificate showing that he graduated from there. In between all of this. He had a heart attack and he's just now trying to find employment. He couldn't f find his certificate so he called the school to see if they could email him a copy. They said, " no because you owe us money ". so they're really nice at first but please don't have a life altering set back because they'll throw you to the wolves!!!!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding school. These people really want you to succeed. They are not just in it for a paycheck. As long as you're respectful they will bend over backwards to help you! highly recommend

Negative experience: I highly don't recommend this place at all, the classes are way too big to just have 2 instructors teaching you and on top of that if your not paying for the class out of pocket and complete more then half the hours they go after you for the full $5,000 regardless of completion or not. I left half way thru due to the fact the instructors were not teaching at all and I have went to miller Motte the classes are smaller yes its 4 Weeks instead of 3 but it only cost 4,000$ to do it and there amazing!!!!! They treat like family were ttds treats you like a bank

Positive experience: There's only one instructor that I didn't care for but the rest are wonderful as a knowledgeable people. Whatever you think you know, forget. LISTEN to what they say because they really want you to do well and have no problem with keeping you there for a few more weeks to produce safe and knowledgeable drivers.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to tell everyone if you want to go to any CDL school I suggest this one. Definitely a great staff and treats you like your family. Definitely wasn’t a cake walk but they want any and everyone that comes through there to succeed. Fantastic experience: Loved attending this school, it’s not a walk in the park, you have to work for it! When you complete this training course, you have accomplished a lot. You will get all of the fundamentals needed to be able to pursue the next step in your career. The instructors are great and are extremely helpful. They are all very knowledgeable and are there to help you succeed.

Fantastic experience: I recently got my CDL through this school. It was like one big family. I had a blast with my trainers and learned a lot. They really did show that they really wanted you to pass and actually cared. Yes things may have been a little tough at times but not just anyone needs to be out on the road in these big trucks. Andy, Ben, Bobby, ladybug were all awesome. I couldn't have asked for a better group of trainers. I really felt at home and more confident in my choice to start truck driving as a career to provide for my family. It also helped to be in a class with a great bunch of guys that were willing to help each other and make sure none of us were left behind. I would recommend that anyone that's considering getting in to the truck driving industry to go through this school. However have a mindset that this industry is not for everyone. I can't wait to come back through the school and show off my shiny new black and chrome peterbilt.

Fantastic experience: I just got my CDL license a week ago much thanks to all staff members from Ladybug (classroom) to Andrew who happened to be my examiner. I was nervous at the first, luckily you guys relieved me! like every stuff member Always said preparation is more challenging than actual test which I totally agree! For all pupils whose looking forward to attend at TTDS, I suggest to remain positive at all the time and listen to your instructors. I speak 5 different languages sometimes it seems little tough for people like us but hey i got it. I know I gave you 5 stars, but one thing I would suggest to TTDS you guys can do something to minimize that dust maybe by bringing truck overnight to sprinkle water all around the yard. Positive experience: I have mixed feelings about my experience with TTDS. I found most of the instructors to be very knowledgeable and helpful. However, I feel that for $5200, I expected more. During skills training, students spent 12 hrs a day in a dirt lot ( which was basically a mud pit) with little to no shelter from the rain, snow and extremely cold temperatures. The trucks and trailers used for skill training were not road worthy. I just felt that considering that the school has 15-20 students a week starting training at $5200 per student, the school could invest in upgrading equipment and conditions to create an environment that is move conducive to learning. To be fair, the reason I gave them a 4 is that the actual instructors were top notch and I gained a wealth of knowledge from them. I felt they were very invested in my success and did everything they could to teach me everything I needed to know . The skills they helped me to achieve will have a major positive effect on my success in my career. Though I feel some improvements should be made, I would still highly recommend TTDS to anyone that is seriousl about a trucking carrier.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place to fulfill a lifelong dream. Theres not one single thing that anyone can say bad about this place! The office personnel is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to help! Janet and Aaron make things happen. But you will gather so much knowledge from the instructors Tony, Bobby, John, Andy, Drew, they all Rock! I didn’t have Mike for an instructor but just the few opportunities that I had to speak with him was the best experience ever! Mike is a true man Of god! It shows talking about his Wife, Kids and family! He did not hesitate when I ask him to pray for me when I was having a bad day! Robert!! Robert is the mist calming person to talk to he knows everything about his job! And when I was stressing and aggravated he turned everything right around! I was able to get my Permit after only 2 days in class with these awesome instructors! And had my CDL in 3 weeks. I decided to go ahead and get my Hazmat endorsement and I did one evening of studying and Aced it with just the little bit of things that Tony would throw in there during class. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to pursue this career to let them make it happen for you! They had me pre-hired and I am Jackson MS bound with Total Transport!! Thanks TTDS!!

Fantastic experience: Great school, Great environment. Aaron is the director, and he is just as involved as his instructors. The instructors themselves are great. I fell like we will always be friends. They did a great job at getting me prepared for my CDL but, if you are in housing you want to have a couple hundred dollars set aside atleast! I was completely unprepared for no help with food or transportation assistance, so between gas and 21 days of food. Just be ready for that. I hope they work out some assistance in the future for the less financially stable students. over all a great school, great people, and dedicated to making sure you pass your CDL test as well as having employer options ready should you not have one.
