Negative experience: MY SON POSTED A REVIEW HERE AND THIS IS WHAT HE RECEVED AFTER. Understand reviews can go both ways. You’re obviously very new & are not aware of the blacklist in the CDL industry. A site all companies, oilfield, transport, hotshot, railroad, warehouses, commercial lending & insurance, etc., use when considering either hiring a driver or giving a contract to an independent owner as well as loans and insurance. No job or contract can’t afford a truck or insurance payment therefore you’ll never get a commercial loan or insurance. If a person ever gets listed on this site then they will never get hired or a contract. That person is blackballed forever. My advice is remove the review before noon tomorrow and take your CDL and go make some money or if you choose not then you will be placed on this list and you’ll see you’ll never get a good job or contract once on the list. The ball is in your court. I hope you make the right decision. If not, then you will suffer more having a CDL and not being able to use it than we will with the review. You have until noon tomorrow. THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT THEY DO. It’s a scam, they take your money.

Positive experience: This place is definitely not a school (which is something that they themselves state), they are severely understaffed (1 instructor for 20+ students), they didn't have enough working trucks for all the students that they have, and you do have to pair up with other students to study the material that they give you to get any meaningful pre-trip practice, but they DO give you all the necessary study material and skills to pass the test as long as YOU put forth the effort and you REALLY want to pass. I can honestly say that I would not have passed my test we're it not for this place! Sidenote: Emma, the instructor, is great! And she deserves a raise!

Fantastic experience: Huge thank you! to Brandon, Emma, Missy, and Billy. I purchased a 3 day package, got all the training I needed to pass my written test, and drive test, both on the first time. Yes, it's alot of studying, but they hand you all the tools needed to be equipped to pass the test. Everything they provide is exactly like the test. Good luck to everyone signing up.

Fantastic experience: My name is Ramsey. Don't listen to any bad or negative reviews. They provide you with everything you need to pass your cdl test from the Pretrip to on the road. They even give you written test with the exact question and answer you need to pass. If you show up thinking that they will do all the work for you your wrong you have to play your part as well if you do not pass that is completely your fault "AGAIN THEY GIVE YOU EVERYTHING" They are affordable and are always willing to explain something if you just ask. They offer one on one training if you are struggling for a low price as well. Highly recommend you going to cdl test truck for you cdl. Billy and his instructors will tell you if they think you are ready they will not just throw you to the wolf's. Emma and Brandon, I want to say thank you for yalls help as well. These two have a great personality and will help anyway they can.

Negative experience: I felt like i was just a number here. Like i didn’t matter just my money did. It was sooooo many people in the class we didn’t have time to do the course for even 5mins. It was literally a “let me fill this class up with as many people and get their money” type of thing. Good thing i already knew how to drive. Which it isn’t a school we understand that. Then if you have to retake they don’t tell you it’s going to cost an additional 700. Or to go to Paris 1200. It’s all about a dollar to them!!! Sadly. Poor Poor Poor customer service. Business advertisement is beyond fake! Don’t waste your time or money. Total waste of 1800$

Negative experience: This place is the biggest SCAM there is. You learn absolutely nothing, they have two trucks between 20 something students to practice the backing skills, you will never drive a semi before the day of your test. They refuse to teach you anything anytime a question was asked they would say “their not a school and to go to a school to have that question answered” the owner Billy is a joke and very unprofessional. I had to call the dmv to get my permit squared away and he grabbed my personal phone from me and starting talk to the dmv very rudely and making odd and creepy comments to the lady at the dmv all while on my phone with my name on the call. The day of my test my truck was late my time already started for my test and my truck wasn’t there till 10-15 minutes in and when it finally made it there and they were going over the paperwork on the truck and trailer the registration was out of date. Every truck there is a piece of junk just ready to break down on the side of the road, gigantic holes in the back of one trailer that shouldn’t even pass a pre-trip inspection. So I was out the money I paid and didn’t get to test. I rescheduled and found out about cdlconnections and I highly recommend them they are around the same price range and are very professional to deal with. The only reason the ratings are so good on here is these bot accounts all the negative comments on here are true if they’re experience was anywhere close to mine.

Negative experience: I use this company in 2021 to do to learn my pre trip and backing. I really didn’t learn anything from here. They only use one truck for ten students to do the pre trip and to practice driving. It takes forever. One part of the test you can’t fail is the brake test and I don’t get to see how it was done because the instructor just did it one time and he also said YouTube doesn’t help, that where I had to learn everything because of that moron. I wish I could go back and say it in his face. Also don’t believe everything they say on the phone when you talk to them the first time. I lost about 1700 for learning nothing.

Negative experience: This company is a scam . They misrepresent their services by not being informative. No road driving training, no specific teaching with precision, price gouging, no refunds sound illegal specially if someone didn’t get full service. Someone sued him last year and I listed to the whole recording and Edwin Bedford lied about everything that happened. If this company scammed you or made up lies about you as an excuse to not give you service report this company to the attorney general of Texas and take legal action. I don’t see his negative review here so obviously they paid someone to remove it.

Negative experience: Used them to get my automatic restriction off my license. Truck was provided with DPS appointment as advertised, but the experience was terrible. The lady who brought the truck had no idea what was going on, the communication was poor and they're extremely unorganized. Whatever.

Negative experience: Beware! I purchased the 4 CDL written practice exams for an employee to use. After the first day, the exams were no longer on the account. I tried to reach out several times to Billy whom I was told is the one to contact regarding this matter. He has not responded to my email, text, voicemail, calls, nothing. It really isn’t that hard to reach back out and help a customer resolve an issue that was paid for. As a business owner myself, this is NOT how you conduct business. I do not recommend anyone to waste their time with any service here. After reading reviews, I notice others have also had similar experiences. Don’t be a victim of a scam like I recently was. High reviews can be misleading when you are told to leave one.

Negative experience: Would not recommend!! Came to this school just to get an automatic restriction removed. I was forced to wait an hour past my 11am appt because the instructors decided to get the training truck inspected. I ended up failing my road test because I am new to driving a manual and the instructor only had me drive back and fourth on a 2 mile stretch of road. There was no hills to practice on which caused me to impede traffic on my test.

Positive experience: Used your service for a passenger bus rental. The service was good. I would only suggest you do maintenance on your bus and update your incorrect pricing on your website, since the price charged is not what's listed on your website for a simple bus rental. Missy was very helpful in giving pointers. Pass all pretrip/basic/roadtest

Fantastic experience: I will tell you this is no joke. I got my CDL from start to finish in under two weeks. The test/review questions are spot on. Never opened a book. And they offer one on one training to those who feel they need it. I took my test in Paris tx as they advised me to and I’m glad I did. Study there notes and listen to there advise. Ain’t no YouTube video I seen out there that has the information as clear as they do. And for the record I paid for the three day and there test questions. And there guarantees of 10 days or less was better than I thought it would have been. Missy thank you for your advise and tell old boy(Austin) keep teaching cause young man’s words were spot on. Positive experience: First off I want to say this is a legit company, they do help! Secondly, I had some good and bad experiences while working with them. They did get me in on short notice which I will forever be grateful for. When I first got there I gave them $1300 in cash which is understandable considering I called them the day of but I filled out no paperwork and received no receipt. The truck I was using had no AC in it, which I understand things happened but in total I spent $1550 with this company and could have easily failed due to how uncomfortable and how much i was sweating. I had my appointment with the DPS already set for the next day. I spent 1 hour training with Abel, which was probably one of the only reasons I passed was because of this man, Abel was a very patient and kind man and extremely helpful. You could tell he was the kind of man that put his 100% into his job and caring for his customer. I needed some extra help on parallel parking and came back the next morning for another hour of training for $250. Abel once again, thankfully, was training me. I was incredibly comfortable with him and asked if he could go with me for my last hour of training at the DPS to do the drive around course. Austin, another gentleman, told him that he was going to take me and that Abel needed to stay behind all because Austin was trying to get out of some work at the yard. This was a big deal for me considering how much money I’ve already spent and I was already comfortable with Abel. My last training hour was set at 11:15am and my DPS appointment at 12:30pm. Austin told me he would be there at 11:00am. Austin did not show until a bit after 11:30am for the time that I paid for. He didn’t take me on the full course that the DPS does, as well as he was more interested in my tattoos then the training. Luckily I passed, which in all honesty I have Abel to thank for that. Thank you Abel for your time and patience and the owner for giving me a shot last minute.

Fantastic experience: Took the 3 day classroom and drive test course. Able was one of the instructors who helped me with the inspections and language. He was very helpful. Great instructor. Great with people from all walks of life. Able is 5 star. For the money one more day of classroom would be better. In the classroom they need more instruction and less stories. Company has some growing room but with some minor adjustments the class will be 5 star. Great equipment at this school. Practice area could use some improvements. Teaching on hands inspections could use some improvement at the yard. This should be 5 days in the classroom and practice and then take your test. Overall it is a great class and good hearted professional people.

Negative experience: To this day I haven’t gotten my money back and I paid them $1,200 3 years ago. I never even got to take the test or drive one of their trucks, because they refused to provide the truck I paid for until after I gave my review. In my opinion the review comes after the service is provided not before! I did obtain my CDL using the service CDL Connection. They were much more accommodating and I got what I paid for.

Negative experience: Billy walks with a limp due to a problem with his right leg . God willing he'll fall out of the truck one day and this scam will disappear with him. He shouldn't lie about being a Navy Seal either.

Negative experience: Paid for 4 practice tests. The tests worked fine until they called me 3 days later to see if I wanted to do the full CDL classes with them. When I politely declined, the access to the tests was removed. Called MANY times to get the account un-blocked and never got access back. Money wasted. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Update: Still no access 2 weeks later but did receive a rude text from someone at the company. Unacceptable! I passed my permit tests with the help of free online practice tests I found somewhere else after doing some more googling. I don't know how their actual training is, but their support for the tests still remains one star.

Negative experience: This place is FRAUD and a complete JOKE! Do NOT waste your time or money here! Billy the owner is so unprofessional, disrespectful and talks down to you. You do not get what you pay for. We have paid for their training course, 1 on 1 session and rented their truck 3 additional times, and my husband still had a hard time passing his cdl test. Now with the new federal laws on obtaining your cdl, there is additional courses you have to take to get your cdl. when contacting this company to obtain the certificate that my husband paid for and completed, they do not want to give the certificate to my husband. And asking him to pay an Additional $1000 to complete a new course after we have paid them $4,000 in total for all the courses, 1 on 1 session and rentals. Billy would not allow me to speak during our conversation, talked over me, talked down to me, was so disrespectful, then hung up the phone on me when I was asking him what is the difference between the courses my husband has already paid and taken with him verse this new “behind the wheel course”. Do not waste your time or money coming here!

Fantastic experience: Billy and Missy and Austin…. All KNOW THEIR STUFF! Guaranteed to get a CDL if you actually pay attention and apply yourself. It all depends on you, but man they definitely give you a leg up and they are true experts in preparing folks to get a Class A with no restrictions. Pre-trip, backing, and road test… was fully prepared for exam within a 3 day period.

Positive experience: Today I passed my CDL exam , its my second time trying it. The pretrip exam its very well presented, I had absolutely no problem with it, you just need to memorise that paperwork. Also I want to present some special thanks to Abel Miranda that really put some order on my backing skills and my road test. He was very patient and he was willing to show me the way.

Jamie, Missy, Austin and Billy got my ELDT admin issues cleared up from the previous school I attended in Austin. The team were able to get me the access to the maneuvering skills I desperately needed to confidently schedule my DPS Road Test. The pre trip and in-cab training proved to be top notch as I passed easily yesterday. I learned more in 3 days than a 4 week school I regret spending money on in Austin. Negative experience: Rude and unprofessional. Billy takes the money and then has very little care after that. If there is an issue that needs to be brought up he will insult you, cuss you, then tell you it’s your fault. He was demeaning to his employees and his wife in front of myself and others. Would recommend to look elsewhere.

Negative experience: Customer service is horrible, but the training is decent. You will learn the pre trip and backing well and their scheduling is good. But outside of that you are on your own. They are not professional and their premium package has nothing premium about it. There’s no extra mile or effort at all to make it seem like you are getting value. We’ve had a couple guys go through their program with the premium package and whenever an issue came up they took zero responsibility of any kind and when held accountable for their mistake they were rude and will hang up after choice words. Billy, the man who runs it is nice until he gets your money. If there is a problem he will not take time to really listen Or want to know what happened. His personal service is poor and I would NOT recommend him. If there’s anyway you can train and learn the pre-trip and backing without them, but use their truck and scheduling service. I would do that, although sometimes their trucks have had air leaks or other issues and if you bring that up Billy will not listen to you. Also twice, their mistake caused is to have to rent their truck again for another test for full price. Again scheduling is good but that’s the only real value you get from this company.

Negative experience: This place is a DISASTER. From the beginning, the scheduling portion is the most unorganized process I have ever seen. They are so quick to take your money, and once they have it, you're no longer a priority. I had a scheduled road test for over a month, they sent me a text the day of the test claiming the truck I would be using was not running. They contacted me almost a month later wanting me to pay another $350 rescheduling fee for an appointment that THEY canceled. The training you receive comes from kids who would rather play on their phones than teach you how to drive a truck. Top to bottom, worst experience and waste of money around. Go elsewhere.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. Please shop around. Believe the reviews. Billy is a bully, talks down to women and criticizes you when you fail claiming it's your fault. You won't have much time in the truck, the trainers suck and the whole business is fraud. The worst!

Negative experience: This company is a rip off My sun attended their program and had a mental break down because this company took his $2400 and did not give the training they agreed to give him. They kicked him out for something he did not do and they did not give a refund

Negative experience: STAY AWAY! All the 1 star reviews are true. I don't get how he has 4.5 stars if everyone I met there absolutely hates him and the trainers there. They'll talk down on you. If you want to take your chance go ahead, you'll regret it. Billy will be the nicest guy up until he collects your money. After that, he will cuss you out for anything and mistreats everyone for as much as you pay for his classes. READ THE REVIEWS. It's the truth. He says 95% pass, that's a straight up lie. Majority of his students fail because he doesn't give you much training at all. You hardly get any practice time. This guy makes so much money off people it's ridiculous for the little training you get. He'll run people off for petty stuff and threaten to call the police for "trespassing" his property even though you paid to be there. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. You'll thank me later. Stop and think, all these negative reviews are pretty alike and that's probably for a legitimate reason.

Fantastic experience: Billy and his crew bent over backwards to help me get the necessary training requirements for my CDL right as the federal and state requirements were changing. They made themselves available on the weekends to give me access to the awesome online training courses. I called them on a Saturday and had my commercial permit by Monday. They know more than the DMV! VERY professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I am blown away by the excellent customer service. Really saved my bacon and I learned a lot. Easily passed all of my tests on the first try with no prior commercial experience! So impressed!!! Thank you Billy and team!

Negative experience: This place is absolutely unprofessional and nothing more than a scheme to con hard working people trying to move up in their career. They DO NOT provide the proper information, they failed to provide ANY information on the PRE TRIP, did not even START the truck to go over the air.brake inspection, the instructors DO NOT manage time or resources based off of groups scheduled for that lesson. They stood around, they were on their phones, and 2 instructors DISAPPEARED without any notice leaving one man with 15 people and 1 truck! The truck that was practiced in WAS NOT the same truck that was provided for the day of testing. AND the truck that was brought for the test did not pass the trip inspection!. When we simply tried to voice our concerns on the money we spent and the service provided Billy was nothing short of nasty, condescending, outrageous and flat out disrespectful!! (The man was even degrading enough to yell and cuss at his wife in front of my husband for trying to bring the matter to his attention) I could understand the stress of running a company but this man runs nothing more than a falsely advertised truck rental to con people out of money. He knows he is failing his clients and doesn’t feel the slightest bit of remorse!! Don’t do it.

Negative experience: Run! If you have another option, do it. Once they get your money they won’t care what happens. I read a review like this before I went but I thought it would be different. I was wrong. They don’t care if you pass your test and get your cdl. This business that skirts on being a scam. Be prepared to be talked down to by the instructors. Your calls will be ignored. On the first day they will have you sign a lot of papers so you can’t do a charge back on your credit card or get a refund. They cover all the bases. The service is so bad they make you sign this before you start. This isn’t a trucking school. Remember, they don’t care about you. They just want your money. Don’t do their “residency package”. When your license come in the mail you will likely not get them. Rick, one of the instructors, will scream and yell at you during your skills and “road training”. He treats you with no respect and some how this is tolerated by the staff and other students. Christina will give your the run arounds. She’s only nice when taking your money. Don’t trust her. She part of the problem.

Fantastic experience: CDL Test Truck was an awesome experience Christina and the instructors were the best. They were very helpful and made me feel really comfortable behind the wheel of the semi. The owner Billy is the funniest with his past experience and stories with all types of people that came and gone from all over Texas and some even come back with friends and family women and men.Each day you show up puts you that much closer with the knowledge on pre trip backing driving and all the other skills you need to get your CDL license. The price is incredible no other CDL learning centers are doing it like CDLTEST Truck Thanks so much guys for helping me further my trucking career.

Fantastic experience: Great info to get your CDL A, B, or C with endorsements. They have nice trucks to test on. Also have the easiest manual transmissions to test on 6+1. Which is like driving a car but with a compound gear. If your coming from out of state. They will help you get residency for an additional price. So you can get your Texas driver's license ASAP and be on your way in your new career. They also have job placement available. Which I plan of taking advantage of.

Fantastic experience: I purchased the one day Get R Done package and I am very satisfied with my decision. The study material for the pre trip was well organized and spot on, the instructions for the backing test made it easy to pass and having the 6 speed manual made the road test a breeze. I had no prior truck driving experience on Sunday and on Tuesday I now have a class A CDL license. Thank you Austin and Erica for being great instructors. I highly recommend this company.

There is terminology you have to know and hands on stuff that you gotta go over! Had my CDL 20 years ago! Things have changed and this company was very helpful in getting around the roadblocks! Money well spent and the instructors give it to ya like your gonna see at the DPS! Once again, worth every penny! Made that much my first week of driving! Thanks y’all!

Positive experience: My experience started out rough was not anything I expected. Classes were packed limited time in the truck they teach you just to past the test felt like they gave you the basic info and after you are on your own the class I was in we came together and helped each other out. With that being said you should come to this place with some knowledge already will benefit you a ton. Easy trucks to drive good equipment teachers are okay. The business side of things is messy and very unorganized. Recommend if you know how to drive and have some knowledge before signing up.

Negative experience: The trainers erika and rick are good! They will teach you what you need to know! But there are limited on how much they can teach you! I honestly recommend you to go somewhere else because they will take your money and you will end with not Cdl! I been waiting for my appointments for weeks at this point i gave up with this company definitely not recommend And be Careful with KRISTINA She's definitely a fake person she will take your money and when you need her she wont do nothing for you! Their "office" is on a table pool is where everyone meet before the pre trip! No real office! The driving portion is gonna be at a Church no real driving just teaching you how to park etc. be Careful and Good Luck .

Negative experience: My experience with these ppl was horrible. There only concerned with getting your money. The "classes" are packed. The "instructors" talk way to fast to catch any necessary information. They want to reel you in and then upsale you privet lessons. Its a joke dont use CDL Test Truck unless you've got money to burn and time to kill.

If you listen to Erika and write down the information she's giving you, you will ace the pre-trip. Ricky is going to show you exactly how to do your backing maneuvers. He showed me how to do parallel/offset backing that I've never done before and I aced it the first time. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Everyone at CDL Test Truck were amazing. From my first call to my driving test. They got me set up for tests quickly and kept me informed. The training materials were spot on. Passed all tests first time. Billy came out for my same day package. We went through pre trip first. Billy broke down pre trip perfectly, made it very simple and organized so you don't get overwhelmed. In cab was the same, we did it a couple times until I had in cab and brake checks perfect. Then we drove the course. Billy was patient and calm, offering tips and advice. When we got back to the test line, he asked if there was anything I felt I needed extra help on. When he noticed I was nervous, Billy asked if I believe and offered to pray with me. Immediately, I felt more at ease and confident. I knew I was in good hands and passed my pre trip and backing. I timed out, which meant scheduling a second appt to do the road test. Billy said he'd call the office and someone would be in touch. A couple hours later, Kyle called and He and Missy got me set for the next week. I got there about an hour early and the truck showed up at about the same time. I walked over and met with the instructor, we chatted for a few and he had me jump in the truck to set my seat and mirrors so I wouldn't have to qhen the test was starting. Passed the road test first try. The crew at CDL Test Truck are polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They genuinely care about you and your journey. I can't say enough good things about these guys and ladies. Thank you all, you made my experience awesome!

Fantastic experience: Erika and Austin really provided great information for me to pass the CDL exam. They are both hands on and go through each part of the truck to ensure you have all the information needed to pass. I will say that if you’re not willing to study on your own and dedicate time to remember the information well do not waste your time!!! When I first started the class I couldn’t back up AT ALL but with Austin’s expertise I learned in a matter of days. Make sure you study ALL pre-trip information and you will be good to go. Lastly, Billy is a great instructor and provides answers to any questions you may have concerning testing or classes. Fantastic experience: So before going with the company I did my research, read the reviews, and eventually signed up. Take it upon yourself to sign up or not but talk to Doug first. He was helpful and worked with me when I signed up. When you start you have to go EVERYDAY for everything to click. Billy might talk fast but he does stop and see if anyone has questions before moving on. Everything is broken up day by day for understanding. Missy was extremely helpful. Austin knows his stuff too and Erica is just awesome can’t really explain, but she really helped me with my In cab inspection. If you come focused and ready you can learn and test confidently. Oh and make sure you do your homework.

Fantastic experience: Completed the program and passed the CDL test. They give you all the tools and training you need to succeed, also key information and tips you can’t get anywhere else. It’s up to you to put in the extra effort to study but you will be successful if you pay attention. Highly recommend this company, the instructors are professional and friendly, they also care. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! My son senior in high school, just turned 18 years old and passed his CDL Class A using this company. The people are very nice, very easy to work with. I am very thankful for them to work with my son to get his license.

Negative experience: The lady who answer the phone for the company (Christina) she is very unprofessional, her phone etiquette is awful and she is rude. She and the owner (Billy) try to up sale you to make more money. The owner (Billy) speaks to you as if you aren't capable of passing this test without the extra days. After cancelling with them they proceeded to use my information to hold spots at several DMV's local and non local. The day I was due to test with another company, I showed up at the DMV only to find out that this company (CDL test truck) Cancelled my test without my permission. This company (CDL test truck) keeps your information to use for their benefit to hold spots in the system, which is how they can promote their quick turn around times. Beware that this company will scam you out of your money and should not legally be in business.

Negative experience: This is one of the biggest scamming companies on the face of the entire United States!!! Christina will try to rush you into paying different amounts for different people. There are many hidden prices , scheduling fee , truck rental etc. She will give you different package options , and whether you choose the cheapest or the highest everyone is IN THE SAME CLASS FOR THE SAME HOURS!!! they don't even let you get in the truck long enough for you to know anything. You do not get what your money is worth. 100% pass rate is a LIE. If you fail, they will charge you over 500 to bring the truck and test again. She will do things and charge different prices behind Billy's back and when I have threatened to talk to billy , she will say its ok i talked to billy and told him it was my fault we will keep the price as is ( i have text to prove ). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY , the chances of you getting a CDL from these people without spending over 4 thousand dollars is very very slim!!! I still have text messages to prove all the lies this company drags people through. DON'T BELIEVE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS. They are written by people that was promised a free hour of training.

Fantastic experience: CDL Test Truck is a great service. I got my CDL quick and for a reasonable price, especially compared to other schools and test prep programs. You get exactly what you need and what you pay for. I had never driven a tractor and trailer, and had little to no experience. With that being said, it's best to purchase a 1st or 2nd tier package so you are prepared. It's much less than any school and Billy is absolutely going to show you what the DMV wants to see from you during testing. Also, you must put in the time to make this work. You have to study and practice your pretrip. It takes 4 or 5 days to get it down, and you have to be involved during class. Just showing up won't result in you getting your CDL. This is a reputable business, you will test quickly and everything is set up for you. I had no issues with the whole experience. You will have to get involved with the set up, Christina has no problem slowing down to explain things but keep in mind there are allot of people to schedule so be prepared to move quickly. Billy is genuinely interested in you passing on your first try and he will tell you exactly how to do it. If you follow instructions and do exactly what he tells you, you'll have no problem. For me personally, I breezed through pretrip and the road course but I had a hard time with backing. Billy offered to teach me himself and made sure I passed. I would also add that if you have a problem, speak up. Hellen really helped me prepare for all aspects of driving during the test and how to interact with the instructors. Out of everyone I called CDL Test Truck was the only one who answered all calls and had a class and test date with a truck rental within two weeks. Great place to get your CDL quick and affordably.

Fantastic experience: I am from odessa tx i went to go visit Billy on a Monday got my cdl that Friday. Billy gives you all the information you need to be successful its just up to the individual how you take in the information. Negative experience: Very unprofessional, called and was told to hold on immediately. When Christina finally got back on the line she said she would call me back. She called back two hours later. My bf talked to her and asked some questions regarding renting a truck. He told her he had already taken the written test and she said he would have to do their classes and that it would be $1,500. He told her no thank you and hung up. She then text back “Dude do not call here again unless your serious. You will understand the hard way.”

Fantastic experience: When I first signed up I was very skeptical. Christina talks really fast but if you ask her to slow down she will and she doesn't take it personal. My first day I showed up and was immediately impressed by DP and Ally. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. They both give you 110% everyday, but expect the same from you. If you study and do your homework (yes there is homework) you will pass. They walk you through and insure you retain the information. I can't say enough good things about them. Helen was a super star on the backing and road test and Billy and Missy both checked on me to make sure I was doing good. I passed my CDL road test first time with flying colors because of DP and Ally's attention to detail and Helen's wisdom with backing and the road test. With regards to all the negative reviews I was not told to write this review or promised anything for 5 stars. I'm writing this because I want to let everyone else know it may seem like a scam at first but it's really not. They are working hard to make sure you can safely operate whatever vehicle you need to. They genuinely care if you pass or fail. I can say if you think you can show up and they just tell you what to say then you will fail buts that's on you not them.

Fantastic experience: I rented a truck from this company and took their pretrip study course. My experience with this company went flawless. From talking with Christina on the phone. She took her time and walked me through everything I needed to get ready for the pretrip course. Then there's DP and his assistant Ally. They were very informative. The information they give you to help study is on point with what you need to pass the TX DPS pretrip, brake test and pull test. Steve on the backing portion was also on point. And even the wonderful lady who took me on my practice road test was great. I had no problem with the scheduling of anything. The truck that I was scheduled to use showed up on time and it was the truck that Christina told me I would have from the beginning. If you listen to these folks and study your a** off and take it seriously. You will pass. I did. No place is perfect. It's all about what you make of it. This company's plan does work as advertised. I am proof of that. I'm giving them 5 stars because of the way the instructors delivered the necessary info on how to pass those tough TxDPS tests.

Fantastic experience: My BF needed a permit and studied the book, issued by TX DPS. It’s one of those manuals where you can read a paragraph 7 times and still don’t know what it says. He also bought the cdl genie app but he has test anxiety-he failed it 3 times and we really felt bad about it. His friend told him about this program-CDL TEST TRUCK and signed on. He studied the questions exactly like they recommended. He just now took that awful test and passed it with NO PROBLEMS. ________________________________________________ A shout out to Christina for her assistance in accessing the program. Negative experience: Used these crooks about a year or so ago. They used an abondoned area off of the highway for their "training". After the owner Billy showed up with 2 trucks and collected the money, he left shortly after with the second truck and left about 12 people to rotate in and out for maneuvers. No adequate instruction, failed cdl exams, no professionalism, even the test site said they are terrible and that the people arent trianed properly when they show up to test. They will say they have no record blah blah blah but they know exactly what they did. I would not recommend them there are several other fast track providers to get you up and going, but i urge you to go to a school because trucking is serious. And at the beginning of the year you will have to go to a school anyway. I hope this helps someone else before they spend their hard earned money. BUYER BEWARE!

Fantastic experience: Cdl test truck was a great experience for myself just got my class A CDL. DP's program for getting you through pre trip is amazing very informative and gives you only what you need to know and nothing you don't and that to me was important cause it's a lot to remember and to be filling your mind with nonsense instead of what you really need to know and focus on I know that's what made the difference for me DP your the man keep doing your thing. And then there's the trainers there awesome Steve, Helen,& thomas are great they want everyone to succeed and get there cdl and they will give you what you need to know if you listen to what they have to say and don't try to go against the grain. Negative experience: Black mailed my husband to give a good review. PLEASE BE HESITATE TO REALLY BELIEVE ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS. This place is a SCAM. We will be reporting this company to the BBB. I suggest everyone do the same. Please do not try and say you have no record of my husband being there either because he was just with you this morning taking his driving test. He posted the 5 star reviews to get the test dates but he will be revising them. I know the company my husband works for paid over 2k to these con artists.

Negative experience: I recently wrote a review on here because I was told that my husband had to post 6 reviews to get a free hour of training. We where then told that it must be a five star review for it to count. I have experienced incentives for doing reviews but I was never told what the review had to be. PLEASE BE HESITATE TO REALLY BELIEVE ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS, since this place may or may not really deserve it since this is more of a bribe then honest reviews. I'm just interested if anyone else was told this by Christina? My husband enjoyed working with one guy he said helped with the pre trip test but the real issues is with the office staff.

Negative experience: I listened to the way the office lady “Christina” dealt with her customers first hand and it was disturbing to say the lease. One of their customers tried to ask questions about payment and she began raising her voice and yelling for no reason other than no customer service training and proceeded to hang the phone up in our face. This company is definitely a scam and I wouldn’t recommend it I would definitely recommend CDL connection instead they at least provide the educational aspect of getting your cdl. These ppl take your money and rush through the entire process and don’t care about your success then blame it on the fact that the customer should’ve studied more. Completely disgusted by the way they handle business.

Fantastic experience: I have dealt first hand with this company, especially Cris Biggerstaff. She was most helpful to in explaining, in detail, all that would be involved. She also does her best to try to hel those who can’t pay everything up front because she knows people need to work. She has a passion for people and to help them begin driving!!!! Negative experience: I paid for the platinum package and was lied to from the office manager Cristina. Cristina is so unprofessional and rude i could not handle her on the phone. I was informed for them to make a new test date for me it will cost 150.00. I went on the DPS site and did it for free. I was told i had all the backing and Pre-Trip until i pass the test that is not true. The only person who is the best in that company is DP the trainer. I was told i need pay 350 for the early bird special. I spoke to billy about not getting the amount of drive time and he call me a liar. Any one who is trying to get your CDL just call DP to help you with your Pre-Trip. I have a friend who is in the FBI and i will be talking to him today about all the mess with DPS. I want to know how you can get an early bird when on the DPS web site it not available for the public. Billy i will be there to greet you on the court house step. SCAM!
