Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin? Let’s start with the receptionist Luz!!! From the moment I stepped foot into crossway driving till I was done, she has been outstanding. Super sweet, super professional. Because she is the face of crossway, her attitude makes you love it and feel super comfortable there. Secondly, I walked in with the intention of taking the road test ONCE and I DID!!! Luz CABAN helped me get there ! She taught me not only how to drive but she taught me patience! I paid for 5 sessions… Luz stated she felt I needed two more! I paid for 5 MORE! When I went for the road test … I PASSED WITH ONE TRY ! I’m so happy but I’m even more happy because I had an intruder who knew how to teach me, have patience with me and was not afraid to tell me my flaws. Luz is NOT mean nor rude but she is very sweet and calm: which made it better. Thank you crossway !!! I will recommend everyone here !!!!

Fantastic experience: I just found out I passed my road test from my instructor and it’s the best news I’ve ever heard. I want to give a huge shoutout to my instructor Felix Morel who was so patient and helpful with teaching me how to drive, couldn’t have ask for a better instructor. Fantastic experience: The experience was great, I reccomend the instructors Jose Luis, and Luis Cruz. They are both very patient, helpful, and easy to understand. Definetly try to take your classes with them. I passed my test taking a total of 6 classes, as a new driver thanks to them. The secretary was also very helpful, she always reminded you with the things you need to do, she tries her best to give you dates and times that are most convinient for you. For example I was supposed to wait one month to take my test, and she tried her best to get me the earliest possible date, and within the best test site to ensure that i succeeded.

Helen is an excellent person when it comes to setting up lessons and breaking down everything so that it was explained to me. I was so nervous when I first started but lucky enough I was assigned to one of the best teachers ever Jose Luis! He was super calm explained everything to me made me feel comfortable. He provided me with awesome feedback that I took with me during my exam! He is just amazing! This school even called me on the day of the exam to wish me luck and the person that took me Annabel was amazing! She provided us with reminders and made us feel so confident for that moment! Fantastic experience: Took the road test with a different school first and I just didn’t like their staff. But here at cross way the staff are friendly and welcoming. And more importantly, helpful to help you learn what you need to do. I’m glad I chose Cross Way, they helped me pass my road test!

Negative experience: HORRIBLE!!! WASTE OF MY MONEY!!!...Paid for my son to take classes which only last for 45 minutes!! HOW much can you really learn in 45minutes!! My son FAILED the road test... My son did like his instructor...But I will find another school to take the time to teach my son and have longer classes.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school. The staff are so respectful and amazing. The receptionists always make me feel welcomed and are very patient. The staff always made sure to accommodate my schedule especially when it came to scheduling the road tests. They always moved my road test date up sooner when there are cancellations which was really important to me since I didn't have a lot of time to get my license. During my time at this school I have had lessons with instructors Isiaha, Carmelo, and Mr. Cruz. I first started with Isiaha and he made me feel comfortable and relaxed when driving for the very first time. I had instructor Carmelo for a few lessons and he always made sure to go over everything tested on the road test during his lessons. I had Mr. Cruz the day before my road test and he was a great for test review and went above and beyond to address my issues and ask if I needed any clarification. I passed my road test on the second try (I was very anxious during my first road test). If you are a teen or a parent of a teen you should definitely enroll here! He’s a phenomenal instructor made me feel very comfortable during my lessons and made me confident in my driving, he will make you redo anything you have trouble with over and over again until perfection, very precise with his directions. He helped me get my license within a month of driving !!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience I had with Cross Way Driving school. I was nervous to learn how to drive especially in NYC streets. It was easy to schedule to set up appointments. If someone did not get you via phone, they will text you. You could upgrade to a different package if needed. Honestly, at first I thought they were costly compare to other schools. THEY DESERVE ALL THE PRAISES. My instructor was JOSELUIS. He was calm, encouraging from the beginning. He was giving tips to remain calm on the road at all times. I remember how tense I was during my first class. He was patient and considerate. I took several classes with JOSELUIS and he told me I was ready. Every time, he was teaching, I had little remarks which I applied during my road test. I passed with flying colors. I was very relaxed during my test. I cannot thank Cross Way Driving school enough and Joseluis for their commitment and professionalism. Keep up the excellent work!

Fantastic experience: Great driving school...They have package for everyone at a relatively low-cost. Organized, cordial and respectful. The vanity numbers (ratings) are true reflection of the organization. I search for a driving school near me on google map and use the vanity numbers (ratings) to help me make a choice. I Aced my driving road test at first attempt.

Negative experience: Driving instructor was nice but kept doing most of the breaking for me before allowing me to try which I did not like an it was probably because they didn’t want to put on their seatbelt an feared hitting the dash while I learned to ease into their breaks. Office people also nice in that passive aggressive kinda way but unprofessional. I went here because they had good reviews but I did not share the experience.

Fantastic experience: Staff here are very supportive and provided me with all of support especially the receptionist Iris, she always had a positive attitude every time I stop by the office. She always showed me support and gave me amazing encouraging words during my exam day. Also, my instructor Noel was the best. Noel was super clam and great at teaching during my driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: I love this driving school and the experience I got. I was having a hard time finding a school since it was my first time and the review for most school were bad and I could only take driving class on the weekend. But I am glad I found Cross Way Driving School. The staff were very friendly, specially when I had to cancel my road test a couple of time. They always give me heads up with follow up class and they were able to accommodate my time to only weekend since I couldn’t go Monday to Friday. They gave me the same instructor, Gabriel for all my classes and he made sure I learn what I had to. He was friendly and gave me pointers and thanks to him I passed my road test on the first try. Negative experience: I unfortunately have to expressed my dissatisfaction with this company.The main reason has to do with the instructors. I felt I wasted my money and didn’t receive a great experience. I had to deal with numerous instructors, they all are not in the same page and are busy wanting to run personal errands on the client time. I’m a new student with no prior experience of driving, they didn’t have patience and didn’t explain into detail what I needed to know. They were very unprofessional and didn’t treat me well.If you’re completely new to driving this school is not for you. They seem to just want people with prior experience where they don’t have to invest their time in you. I didn’t feel value as a client and didn’t want to help in any way.

Fantastic experience: Get Luis Cruz as your instructor, very calm instructor, he will tell you what to do and look for, from points of reference to drive and learn how to observe. Fantastic experience: This driving school is the best I pass my road test all thanks to Hurtado he so kind and very understanding when I took couple classes I was nervous at first especially when it came to the parking I was not getting it till he show me an easy way to parallel park and I got. Negative experience: I took several classes at this location and eventually passed my driving test. Beware there is a girl at the front desk who stole my information and tried to transfer money out of my account. Please take caution at this location. It happened on a weekend when the owner was not there at 2833 Third Ave Bronx, NY 10455. I have receipts and screenshots. I came to the location and confronted the girl and decided I needed to pass my road test and I wasn’t going to spend not another dime here. My husband is a witness he came with me to confront her.

Fantastic experience: 4th times the charm-Test Anxiety I took the road test 3 TIMES with 3 different schools prior to Crossway.: 1st in 2010, 2nd in 2017, than 3rd in Jan 2023 and of course failed. I wanted to give up but didnt want to wait so many years again to retake the test and I am soo GLAD I didnt! I am a review reader & researcher so I chose Crossway based on reviews, and I am soooo Happy I did because I PASSED my road test in Feb 2023!! I would get SUPER nervous due to my anxiety when taking test I will blank out/freeze the day of. If you are this person then go to Crossway! I took 3 lessons , my instructors were Joshua and Luis and they were honestly nothing but AMAZING, SOOO sweet and Funny! Both were straightforward and I would laugh and learn little tricks & that helped me calm down & not be so nervous! They give me the confidence I needed to finally PASS my roadtest. I didnt feel like I was being bribed to take more classes they were very honest about my driving skills. The office staff were nice as well, they were responsive and it was easy to book my classes and road-test. Thank you Crossway!!❤️

Fantastic experience: Ngl ive had ppl tell me this place was trash but i went in here with zero to no experience driving and my boy Luis(instructor) got me right in like 4 lessons. Son aint sugarcoat nothing for me, he told me straight up where i went wrong and what i should fix. Gangsta he had me prepared af. Had me at the road test stuntn on the examiner she aint know what to do .. but yea if yall want a valid driving school, this it right here !! 100% worth your bread.

Fantastic experience: I will start by saying this driving school is the best choice anyone can make. Reasonable prices and they work with your schedule. Staff is awesome. The 2 instructor's I had were great!! I couldn't do it without them. I've had plenty of driving experience prior... But needed that refresher on what the DMV wanted. Which I tell you is simple and the quickest road test. Choose CROSSWAY all the way! Your guaranteed to pass! But you need to put in the work as well. Good luck to all. Fantastic experience: If anyone is looking for a good place to learn how to drive , I highly recommend this place ! Their instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful . I dealt with at least three of them for different lessons and they were all good . Their whole staff was accommodating and proficient . Starting with the receptionist Allison who was always friendly , helpful and professional . If you want to start the process towards a license , Crossway is your place .
