Fantastic experience: James was a fantastic instructor. He made the class interesting and relatable but impressed on us the dangers when driving and what can happen any time we get behind the wheel and even more so when when we choose to be negligent, distracted and uninformed. He reminded us continuously that we are responsible for our own behaviors and the consequences associated with them without judging us for our errors.

Fantastic experience: The instructor teaching the clas kept everyone interested in the class. A lot of instructors put you to sleep but this instructor forgive me for forgetting his name kept all of us on the edge, full attention.

Positive experience: the instructor was awesome and was actually super helpful. wasn’t too terribly boring. completely exceeded my expectations of an aggressive driving course. the only complaint i have is that some of the material he was showing us was suuuuper out dated but out of all the classes i’ve been forced to take in my life, this was one of my favorites.

Fantastic experience: I have two licensed and safe teen drivers through AA Driving Academy. My kids both did the asynchronous course work just because we're not super close to the main office and with sports and things it would be tough to get there. The staff communicates, and is flexible about scheduling the behind the wheel sessions. I really appreciate their help, patience, and how easy they made it for both kids to learn good habits and earn licenses when they were ready.

Fantastic experience: One of the most friendly & helpful courses out there (not that I’d know any others as they did such a good job educating me that I wouldn’t need to use another ;) I don’t know how the other courses compare, but AA Driving Academy was easy to apply for, kept track of my progress, included fun games into the learning course (optional), and made it easy to navigate the resources provided. Highly recommend!

Recently, I faced a reckless driving charge on the access road VA 55/96, which prompted me to hire a traffic attorney. A friend recommended A&A Driving Academy, where I had the pleasure of working with Ali. Ali was exceptionally professional and offered invaluable advice throughout the process. Fantastic experience: I found AA Driving Academy an easy-to-use and thorough platform for my court-suggested Drivers Improvement class. I've been driving for 50 years and thought I knew everything. I didn't, but do now. Being a last minute tasker, I was concerned that the certificate wouldn't arrive in time for my court deadline and was happy to see it in my inbox within a day. Thank you!

They were very patient and took pride of him understanding the do's and dont's of driving. He has the correct foundation to be a safe driver thanks to AA Driving Academy!

Negative experience: Ease of access was appreciated, but often times the writing felt lazy and condescending. One of the quotes I often use to explain this to other family members are these few sentences near the beginning of the course: “Some drivers have a bad attitude about the laws. They think the laws are there to keep them from doing what they want to do. In reality, the laws are there to protect you from me AND to protect me from you! With that in mind, you probably feel better about the laws already, don't you?” It’s possible the people who created this course may have been pessimistic about the reception of the lessons, but more professionalism and less bitterness would aid drivers in taking the information seriously. Using the platform as an educational tool would likely produce better drivers rather than what often felt like a waste of time on the writers end.

Fantastic experience: Attended DIP 8 Hours session on 8.10 Location - Easy to find and well maintained. Facilities - Restroom is neat and well kept. Water fountain available. Bring your own water bottle. Staff are friendly , Check in process is clear and fast. Coffee shops and Restaurants are pretty close by here as well. DIP training Feedback: 1.) Video content is informative and interesting. 2.) National Safety Council Approved Content and Training. 3.) Trainer Mr.Khan had kept us engaged all through the training with his real life experiences, relevant traffic data and incidents, and interactive engagement with attendees. 4.) Course Completion Certificate is provided. 5.) Online registration for this course is a breeze. Before I attend this course, I was under impression that its going to be a boring and cumbersome exercise for straight 8hours. But, AA driving academy instructor proved me wrong and made me feel like more confident , defensive driver at the end of the session through their meticulous training plan. If you are looking for any driving improvement courses, don’t hesitate to contact them .

Positive experience: Vanessa was the best to help me with info and registering. The course was difficult to take on your phone, a lot of wasted time. The narrator would end and there was still time ticking. I did not feel it was a self paced course.

Fantastic experience: The 8 hour DIP course was easy to sign up for and the instructions were very clear on how to navigate the class. The nice thing about the online course is that it allows you to start/stop at your leisure and great for ppl with busy schedules and cant attend the in person. I found the course easy to follow on as long as you know how to use a computer. There was valuable content and a good overview of all the driving materials you need to know to pass the test. The DMV completion certificate is provided via email within a few business days.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just finished the "Behind the Wheel" course for new drivers. My daughter says her instructor Rubina was excellent. She was patient, she was supportive, had a very pleasant demeanor and helpful. When it came to scheduling the lessons she communicated very well. Rubina was always on time to pick up my daughter for her lessons. I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Great experience taking the Driver Improvement class online. Very easy signup process & then it was immediately available to me. I was able to start & stop multiple times throughout the class. A lot of content, but broken up in chunks, with reviews throughout, so I passed in the end! Would highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I took the 4 Hours driving class with the instructor Ali Kazmi. It was great class and very informative and I personally benefited a lot from it. I highly recommend taking the class with them and certainly you will know a lot of things and recommendations that you will need for your driving and dealing with your traffic tickets and you will be with other people who are in the same situation like yours and you will know a lot of new things that might benefit your case. Their prices are good and they offer both the 4 hours and the 8 hours classes.

Fantastic experience: I arrived for class not really knowing what to expect. There were two instructors which both made the class fun & knowledgeable, & time seemed to go by fairly quick. After, taking the class Ive developed a new way of thinking in terms of driving on the road, & different things to be mindful about that make a dramatic difference for yourself & other people such as the importance of a seatbelt, avoiding texting while driving, & maintaining a safe following space between the car in front of you. Anyone, needing to take this class for whatever reason I highly recommend AA Driving Academy.

Fantastic experience: Very convenient and easy to use. You're able to do the sections at your own pace and log in and out of your current chapter without having to start the entire section over. AA also takes care of submitting the necessary paperwork to the DMV, which is also very convenient.

Positive experience: The over experience is a good test, everything is seamlessly put together and going from unit to unit is easy if you know and study the material, however the standardized personal questions prompts that appear don’t seem to be ported to iPhone correctly and if you are unable to turn your phone horizontally in time you have to log back in. It mostly seems like an over site but overall a great course.

Negative experience: I just enrolled. The customer service is poor. I still haven't heard back from my assigned driver (I called and texted). The lady I spoke to on the the phone, Vanessa, was extremely rude, and unwilling to help. While I understand the drivers may be busy and want to be respectful of their time, I find it unprofessional that the front desk is not even willing to listen to the customer respectfully and provide some solution. Not acceptable behavior.

Fantastic experience: I had the privilege of being in a class with Mr Mike today! He was so humorous, thruthful, and down-to-earth. While taking a reckless driving course may be embarrassing, awkward, and new to some, his intentions are to allow you to learn from your mistakes and to inform you on how you can be the best you can be moving forward. Today, everybody (if not, most), felt comfortable sharing their silly wrongdoings, and it all became an atmosphere of chuckles and lessons. Overall, I recommend aadrivingacademy because of the welcoming and clean environment! Thank you guys :)

Fantastic experience: My wife completed the adult waiver program designed for adults with 12+ hours driving experience, 30 hours of online training and 14 sessions of road lessons and observations. She completed the online part in couple weeks and passed the final written test on location, very nice proctor on site. Onto road lessons and assigned instructor Amanda was awesome, flexible schedule, picked up wife, dropped her off after road lessons, covered range of important lessons and administered final road test which she passed with couple minor points on traffic merges and u-turns. Overall great program, pleasant, knowledgeable, cheerful instructor, highly recommend, and I don't usually give 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: AA Driving Academy worked wonders in helping me get out a speeding ticket I got in Fairfax County. I was going 57 in a 35 and with 20+ over the legal limit, I thought it was going to be reckless driving too. Luckily it wasn't. I was still freaked out though because I haven't gotten a ticket in 20 years and was also driving out of state. I know in VA points and fines and the other things associated with a ticket can be pretty damaging to your driving record. I asked around through my circle of friends and one said that he took the course and advised me to take it to too. He said make sure you take the in person classroom one and not the online one. So I did that. It was 8 hours and the teacher of it seemed like he was put on earth for this exact reason. His name is Mike and he is a great teacher. The course is an 8 hour course with a few breaks before and after a 1 hour lunch break. At the end of class, he gave us all a certificate that we should present to the judge in court. During court, I was very apologetic and explained the circumstances on what happened the day I was pulled over. I presented my certificate and my charge for speeding was reduced to failure to pay full time and attention with zero points and nothing on my record. I was so relieved and happy with the decision. If you ever get pulled over and are freaking out about it, I highly recommend taking the 8 hour defensive driving improvement course at AA Driving Academy, Inc.

Mike gave the class the opportunity of listening to lawyer speak of his experience on attending court for reckless driving. During this 4 hour course I learned the importance of driving at the speed limit, while engaging with others to acknowledge how we will successfully attend court.

Fantastic experience: Thought it was going to be a normal 8 hour class where you watch TV and answer questions, but Amanda did such a great job it didn’t even feel like 8 hours. She was very informative, engaging and made sure everyone participated and didn’t feel left out. Great class definitely recommend!

All of his learning objectives for each module were super cohesive. This is coming from a teacher, now school administrator with 10 years of experience. Fantastic experience: Took the 4-hour Aggressive/Reckless driving course out of necessity, and I had a pleasant experience throughout the entire thing. The main factor was definitely Mike, he was an amazing teacher and made the class enjoyable, informative, and fun. It was a good learning opportunity, and I appreciate the work!

Fantastic experience: My teacher Mr Ali was professional and not like a parent that cannot remain calm when teaching you to drive. I took 5 driving school classes for 90 minutes each. No yelling no interference, he let me learn but also helped with the braking and acceleration on his side in case he thought I might be nervous. But I was the most nervous right before getting in the car I had so many butterflies. What I didn't tell the teacher was that I hadn't driven in over 6 or 7 years! What helped me was YouTube videos on how to brake and speed properly. And you know what, I drove better than half the people on the road! After the first 2 classes I wasn't gripping the wheel tight anymore. Thank you for helping me get over my fear. I once ran into my neighbors fence and almost hit a tree just leaving my house with my mother's car to go to work. They lived tight next door. I never even got onto the road. That was over 7 years ago. Over 2 years ago I almost lost my life to gastroparesis. Eating soggy cereal for 2 years and never seeing my friends again. And more horrors i went through I cannot mention here. But ...You've given me hope again. Thank you AA :,) P.S half the drivers didn't use their turn signals. Yet I remained calm. :)

Fantastic experience: Mike was honestly one of the nicest and best teachers I’ve ever had and his lessons really changed my perspective of driving. He also guided me and prepared me for court, and my case was dismissed! I’m so grateful for him and his programs, I’d probably be a mess without it.

Fantastic experience: The driving best school in VA: professional and friendly instructors and nice, comfortable place. Instructor Mike, in my opinion, is the best and made it very easy and fun to go through the course. If you have a driving ticket, reckless driving records - school professionals will answer all your questions, they will be able to recommend you a local lawyer or how to prepare to go to the court alone! They will listen to your case and give the best advise how to handle it! My case was: first reckless driving (92/55mph) thanks to the school courses and my lawyer it was reduced to a speeding ticket.

Fantastic experience: The instructor, Mike, was very good. I attended the 8 hour Drivers Improvement Program to help a friend translate since he did not understand English. I learned several new things from the instructor. The person I was with had gotten a ticket for reckless driving and was required to go to court. AA Driving Academy offered several good tips on how to prepare for the court case. The test was pretty straightforward as long as you listened to the instructor.
