Fantastic experience: I took 3 lessons and some practice before my exam with Mike and had an absolutely wonderful experience. He was patient the entire time, great to learn from and just an all around enjoyable teacher to have. Taking these lessons gave me the confidence to ace my test on the first try and feel ready to start driving daily as someone who never really cared or wanted to drive living in the city. For years I put off getting my license but 1st Choice made it easy, what a relief!

Fantastic experience: This is my first time driving and Mike is the best teacher to have! He’s really patient and supportive, very encouraging. Mike is attentive to details, and corrected every mistake I made. I was able to practice numerous times with things I have trouble with. The lessons were comprehensive and I knew exactly what to do in the exam because we practiced repetitively. Mike also challenged me to help me become more confident while driving. Fantastic experience: I had to do my driving test all over again because of a mix up at the DMV. I have driven for many years and picked up some "bad" habits such as driving with one hand on the steering wheel. I also needed to polish up on my parallel parking skills. Mike was extremely patient and helpful. We drove the route over and over and he pointed out exactly what I needed to do at every step . He showed me a fail-proof parallel parking technique that allowed me to ace the test. Knowing how to drive and passing the test are two different things. ( The examiners can fail you for something you consider to be trivial.) Mike is very dedicated and makes sure that no stone is left unturned. He is a caring person naturally, and he made me feel at ease right away. I wish him great success so he can continue to help out driving students - young and old.

Negative experience: Never again I wish I can get a refund for anyone thinking this is the right place to Learn how to drive it’s not the man was extremely rude was on the phone texting than went to go grab food and eating in the car while trying to teach me kept on being rude kept braking before I could even brake he spoke a different language so that was difficult for me can barely understand him that was a waste of 138 dollars please do not go here save yourself the trouble and the money I can’t believe I barely got taught how to drive and I paid for 2 hours he kept his hand on the wheel Turned for me every time I was trying to turn also would blame me for breaking when I didn’t even put my foot on the break kept be touchy touchy Like bro get ya hands off of me please do not go here this would be a waste of your money and time

Fantastic experience: I reached out to First choice Driving school to rent a car for my driving test along with the car they suggested an hour of teaching / practicing prior to the test. Although I am an experienced driver I thought this would be useful. It was indeed!! Mike was assigned as my instructor he helped me from scheduling time location and reminded me of the documents to get. On the day, we met 1 hour before the test and he guided me through the process from explaining the car features, Parallel parking and road test. He was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable.. Glad that I had the session with him and eventually cleared the test without any issues at all . Also the price they offer is the best going around some others almost charged double .

Negative experience: i personally had an unprofessional and frustrating experience with this company. I had scheduled a driving lesson with Mike for may 1st at 10 am. when i texted him at 10 am telling him i was ready whenever he was ready for me he then called me to tell me the car had broken down and was being fixed. that i can understand, but he never called me or contacted me the day of. he said he had knew two hours in advance but just "forgot to tell me". i was understanding because i get that things happen sometimes but then when I contacted him about rescheduling he left me on read not once but TWICE. it's frustrating and unprofessional and i would not recommend them for the service i was given.

Fantastic experience: Really great instructor taught me everything I needed to know for my test in about an hour before my test. I didn’t past my first time because I was too excited and nervous and missed the last stop sign. When I rescheduled I let him night before and he still showed up for me and I was able to use the same car I practiced in and passed the second time. He definitely didn’t have to do that and it definitely wasn’t expected at all. But I was very appreciative for him coming last minute and giving me helpful reminders. Thanks so much Mike!!
