Fantastic experience: So excited to say that I finally got my CDL! Thank you TDA for the amazing support from each and every one of you!! From the customer service at the front thank you Samantha and Vanessa for helping and being so kind and courteous and helping me keep track of my hours! To Tony for the push on getting me to learn the gauges during orientation and helping me through my final week before my test! I'd like to give a special shout out to Frank for believing in me and pushing me to get passed through all 3 levels. It wasn't easy but it takes hard work and dedication to get it done they provide all the tools and resources necessary to get your license! I'd like to give another special shout-out to the #1 driving instructor Donato for the real push to get me through driving safely and efficiently and taking the time to push me out on the road to shift properly!!. To Andy for teaching me the offset maneuvers and Mario for getting me started on level one! This was an amazing experience I'm not going to lie the first few weeks I was stuck and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it but with the support of my family and everyone at Truck Driver Academy I was able to obtain my license in just under 4 months for some it comes easier. It took me a little while but with hard work you can do it too and most likely in less time . I definitely recommend this school to anybody trying to get their CDL. Thanks again TDA team!!

From here I just want to give thanks To Frank and the crew from TDA Andy, Jose, Matthew, Donato, Miguel and the rest of the crew that helped me along the way, for always being positive and believing in me and saying (you got this) every time I felt like I didn’t, I came into this school not knowing how to drive a semi or anything about what a pre trip or air brakes etc etc… and now I can do it all thanks to the Crew at TDA, and because of them I passed on my first try the day of my test. Fantastic experience: I wanted a school where I could learn to drive truck in a manual transmission truck and have no restrictions on my CDL. I did a lot of research, then went to look at schools in-person. For that matter, when I was at the DMV to test for my CDL, I talked to students at other schools to find out about there experience at the school they attended. While it is not perfect, East Valley College -- Truck Driver Academy is definitely, the best -- whether you want to drive a manual, or do automatic only. It was the second most affordable, but one of the best programs I looked at. They have both full-time and part time students and are able to be flexible around a student's schedule. Also, unlike most college truck driving programs, you can start right away. I also had a clerk at the Commercial DMV comment about what a good school it is.Most of all, they have a different attitude than most of the schools I looked at. The attitude was noticeably more supportive than most schools I looked at and it was a great place to learn. In the end, I'm very glad that it is where I chose to get my Class A CDL!

Fantastic experience: Getting a Class A license is not an easy task and at times I wondered if I would ever get it done, but I have my Class A now thanks to TDA. You work at your own pace and they are there to help you. I found a job team driving with a friend in less than a week after graduating. I would recommend this school, they wont just push you through because that's not going to work when you get to your DMV exams. Learn that pre trip, learn those air brakes, be competent in your backing skills and the reward of being behind the wheel and making money will be yours.

Fantastic experience: On February 27th , I passed my CDL exam on my first try!! I owe this win to the amazing team of instructors who supported me every step of the way. They were always there for me, offering both kindness and tough love. Safety was always top priority and TDA ensured I always had one of ten instructors I could ask for help. As a woman, truck driving school could have been a little intimidating but the culture at this school is inclusive, respectful, and encouraging. If you are male, female, young or mature and you are on the fence about what school to go to, I highly recommend Truck Driving Academy. Today I have my CDL A drivers license with no restrictions. Frank and all of his instructors, office personnel and mechanics are my angels. With their guidance I also received my endorsements for Hazmat, Tankers, and Doubles and Triples. What more could I have asked for? This part of my journey is complete and my new adventure begins.

Fantastic experience: Becoming a Truck driver has been one the best decisions I've ever made... chosing TDA was the best call ever... from the point of view of a woman, having ZERO experience whatsoever TDA instructors provided me with all the information and tools needed and then some. Excellent study material, excellent trucks... I am very grateful to each and everyone at school, they were SO patient and dedicated to teach me and make sure I got all the tools needed to pass my DMV test. Price is best in the market for the excellent value they offer. The instructions will help out and show you step by step the skills needed to maneuver and drive a semi. Don't waste your time and money going anywhere else. Fantastic experience: The school was close to my house and I would always see their trucks driving in my area so I checked them out. The staff was very polite and the process to enroll was very easy. They gave me all the essential study materials to prepare for my permit test. I took my permit test the following day and passed all 7 of my DMV tests needed (General Knowledge, Air Brakes, Doubles/Triples, Tankers, Hazmat, Class C general knowledge, and Motorcycle). Once I got my permit, they actual hands on and learning experience was amazing. They helped me right away to perfect my driving skills and prepare me for my DMV exam. They made sure I was confident and ready before taking my exam. I got my license and I appreciate everyone at this school for their help and dedication to ensure that I passed.

Positive experience: Graduated here and to be honest, I don’t understand why people are rating this school 5 stars. The school isn’t necessarily terrible, but it’s not perfect either. You go to orientation, get a tour of the facility, given a handbook (which seriously needs an update), and very quickly get a rundown on how air brakes work. You are on your own when it comes to learning everything. I learned more from Youtube videos when it came to memorizing the pre trip inspection and air brakes. The handbook has typos, missing some important parts to say during the test, and terrible labeling. I really disliked the school system on how they managed their parallel and alley dock. You need to schedule but they get booked quickly, and waiting without an appointment is an absolute time killer. Instructors here are not all bad. Some are chill and some look like they don’t want to be there. With all the tuitions they charge and with all the new students they accept, I hope they use their time to update and change some things to improve the school. Best of luck to anyone who attends this school.

Fantastic experience: I did the majority of my schooling at the Baldwin Park TDA, but I spent about 2 weeks training here because I chose the Fontana DMV to do my CDL testing, so I wanted to get used to the trucks and the roads in this area. The 2 weeks I spent training at TDA Fontana was really good. I learned even more things about my on the road test because different trainers emphasize different aspects of the DMV test. In the two weeks I spent here I was really impressed with the professionalism of all the staff there, the staff's knowledge of driving semi trucks, and also very impressed with their willingness to teach their students!!! It doesn't matter what race you are or what background you have, if you want to put in the time to learn how to drive semi trucks, the wonderful staff at TDA Fontana are willing to teach you!!! Thank you TDA Fontana for helping me get my CDL A manual transmission!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had to get my class A again due to circumstances I'll keep to myself. I already had 4 years experience driving trucks. At first I had my doubts, but after a few weeks I was able to pass the DMV test. I'm rolling down I-15 into Berdo as I write this (not driving.) All in all this school will prepare you to make it through the DMV.

Truck Driving Academy has effective academic systems in place that with ease you will quickly retain all the information needed to be a successful Commercial Truck driver. Fantastic experience: When I say this is the best school to go to to learn for your CDL, I mean just that !! They are amazing ! I’ve never thought I would even pass because trucking was always intimidating for me but coming here they made it easy and smooth for me . They teach everything you need to know to pass the dmv road test, everything else you learn once you get out there

Negative experience: Place is horrible, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE OVERWHELMING REVIEWS. I suspect most of the reviews are either paid off or are bots. Instructors play favorites and are horrible at teaching. You are given a booklet and that is the only thing teaching you. Unprofessional and waste of time and money. They claim they will fix their trucks but they have been saying that for over 3 years and still not have fixed a thing. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn how to get your CDL. Wonderful environment and staff. Large facility with many trucks to practice on. TDA gets you completely prepared to pass the DMV CDL test. I would recommend this to anyone who has no experience with driving a truck.

Fantastic experience: TDA is a great school they really help learn the fundamentals to get your CDL’s I learned from all the instructors daily and also motivated. Fantastic experience: I just passed my test at the DMV, and I do have a word of caution about the negative comments people have made about this school...Take most of them with a grain of salt. As for comments about long waits for appointments to do skills practice (parallels and alley docking), yes, they do get booked up sometimes even a week or two out. However, you can still work around this by getting on the standby list. Every day I was on standby, I almost always managed to get a slot since people quite often do not show up for their appointments. Regarding comments about the instructors who “hardly speak English,” yes, most of the instructors are from Mexico. However, they do speak English. Some have stronger accents than others, but they do speak English. Only a couple are somewhat limited in their “conversational” English, but they can still instruct you in English and they are very good at their job. If you’re a native English speaker, this is mostly a non-issue. That aside, these instructors really know their stuff and are very helpful and they never hesitate to go out of their way to help you or give you special instruction if you need. In all honesty, I couldn’t have had a better group of instructors to coach me all the way to passing my test. Furthermore, they have some real characters among the staff at this school who make the day quite fun and enjoyable. Also, the flexibility to come in on your own time works out great if you have to work in the morning. With all that said, I give this school a 5 star rating. On a personal note, I just want to say thanks a bunch to Frank and all the instructors and the girls in the office at EVC. I couldn’t have done it without you. You guys are awesome!! -Chris Flores

Fantastic experience: Great school, great staff and overall a awesome place to get you CDL. I got mine in about 80 hrs of school time while working a full time job. Instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable. Well worth the money! A big thank you to Bory, Ernesto, Miguel, Tony, Alfredo and Frank that really went out of their way to help me get it done!

Negative experience: This place is awful... they dont take the time to teach you the curriculum. They just hand you a folder and your pretty much on your own. I learned more in 3 days at my works school then I did in 3 months here. If you need it for a refresher course I'm sure it's good. But I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else. Spend the extra money and go somewhere with class time.

Fantastic experience: First I want to start with the girls in the office they are very helpful and encouraging. This is truly a 10 star school. When I came to the school I definitely started this course without any knowledge about truck drive, so I was very nervous. I met Frank the manager the first day and he was extremely helpful. Before I started the school there was a couple week wait. It was worth the wait. I just started this month and i already feel like I'm ready for the driving test. So all the positive stuff people say about this school is true. All the instructors are very helpful and approachable. They prepare you for the worst and when you get to the DMV driving test it will be a piece of cake. The instructors show you all the backing maneuvers the DMV will throw at you. The part I like the best about the school is the groups are small so you have plenty of time to practice behind the wheel. In the end you really get what you payed for and your paying for the best school in California.

Fantastic experience: I trained for my cdl at TDA in Fontana. I work full time and was only able to come in once a week. They are very flexible and will work with your schedule. Taking their trucking classes is a good investment that will open many doors for your career. You go at your own pace but if you ask an instructor for help they'll help you out. I felt very comfortable with the instructors. The more effort you put into your training, the more you'll get from it. I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: They are extremely Professional, caring, kind and good people. I did check 4 other school before I signed up with them and since I leave in Irvine I couldn't believe how nice and informative the receptionist was over the phone so I said I have to drive to Fontana to check this school even though it was a 45 Miles away. When I got there and saw the school and the staff I did sign up the same day and I am so glad and happy that I did. Fantastic experience: This school had the best prices around, great study materials to get my permit and pass all inspection skills for my commercial driving test, and had patient and skilled instructors to help perfect my maneuver skills test as well. I definitely recomend this school if your looking for a great bang for your buck experience. I recently passed my commercial driving test at the dmv in Fontana and got my class A, and they are still there to help me to further my carrer if needed. Negative experience: For more than 54 days they don’t want to refund the money after deducting $700 for 2 hours of training. I canceled because of the following: 1-long waiting time until you find a truck available, 2-Very old trucks,3- Only 1 trainer for more than 4 students. They are very nice until they get they money which took them 1 minute to charge the credit card and months with out refunding it. I have been calling every day to get my refund with out getting no response. I can share all they messages if any body will need it. In any way i will despite the full charge but i don’t want them to do the same thing with anybody else. My advice Go to one of the schools that can offer less hours but more care and newer trucks. don’t not waste your time and money.

Fantastic experience: This school has all the tools to equip you to attain your class A cdl, you must apply yourself, the more you put into it the better your results. The instructors are there to help, I asked as many questions as necessary, and they answered, and explained until I understood, no bull. I passed my Dmv test the first shot. Fantastic experience: This school is awesome. I started here 3 weeks ago and just passed my DMV test today and got my class A license. All the trainers are very professional. Fantastic experience: Great school, excellent staff, instructors are very helpful and ready to answer any question.
