Fantastic experience: I would definitely give a 5-star rating to the Technical Driving School. My instructor was Tahir, and he was very knowledgeable and gives good piece of information and tips. In NJ, parallel parking was the tricky part and we can overcome easily with the information provided by the driving instructor. Thank you for the services provided and keep going.

In my opinion, He is the best instructor in new jersey. I took the gold package to improve my performance. So I will suggest you guys to go for the gold package and get the 6 hours lesson

Negative experience: If You Want to Lose Your Money, This Is the Right Plac One of the worst driving schools you could ever deal with. The service is extremely poor, and all they care about is taking your money without any concern for teaching you how to drive properly or helping you pass the driving test. The negligence in handling students is evident, making it very difficult for anyone to gain the necessary experience and knowledge to succeed. I do not recommend anyone to join this school if they are serious about learning how to drive.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Sheraz He is really good, respectful, and very calm. One of my friend had scheduled 6 Hours package along road test with this school. At the first day I was nervous but he trained me in such a way that after taking three sessions I was able to pass my road test.He taught me so much about parallel parking and helped me getting my license. Fantastic experience: So far, so good. We switched from another school that actually turned out to be a flaky place. My husband and daughter stumbled upon Technical Driving School while they were shopping on Main Street and saw the cool looking Toyota outside. I like that they actually ANSWER the phone, not like other places. They have an office and you can go there in person to do the paperwork and eye test. We went there on a Monday and by Sunday my daughter already had her first driving lesson. So, this place is on a roll. They don't mess around. My daughter loved her first lesson. She actually drove the car back home from Carteret. Woo Hoo!

Negative experience: My driving instructor was fine, very helpful. I had the 6 hours behind the wheel package. I did feel upset by the amount of time I had to wait the initial meet, the communication wasn't the best. Owner of the school was quite rude, when I had forgotten something and I was hoping to pick it up he was upset when he couldn't remember what day he said. Terrible service with him, driver and his son were very helpful though. Wish I had a better experience.

Negative experience: if you’re a beginner driver and want to feel discouraged this is the best place for you! FIRST driving lesson EVER I was told “ my coordinates are bad “ and how “ I should let my brother drive with me instead “. The end of the session literally ended in me crying. Like obviously my driving isn’t good I knew that, but instructors should make it a safe place for you. And yes i’m writing a report on this driving school. You could tell by their sarcastic response below that i’m not lying as well.

She helped me with tips on turning, parking, k-turns, and anything I felt needed to be clean up. She was so patient and recommend the school for any new and nervous drivers. Fantastic experience: THIS IS THE BEST DRIVING SCHOOL EVER!! I just passed my road test today and all credit really does go to them. They are so patient and understanding, as well as trusting. They make learning to parallel park a dream. I learned in my first lesson and my road test inspector said my parallel parking was excellent and seamless! I didn’t get much practice with my parents so all my experience mostly came from my 6 hours plus additional hours I added on. They give you quality lessons and they’re 100% worth it. Fantastic experience: The pricing was reasonable and the management was very accomadating. I booked the one hour practice and driving test package and the instructor gave me great advice and tips on the mistakes I made. The instructor explained very clearly what the test would entail as well as how to correct any mistakes during it. It was my first attempt and I passed. Fantastic experience: I'm a late bloomer, and decided to get my license later in life. In all honesty when I called, I had no idea how to parallel park, reverse or do a k turn! When I first began lessons with Tahir, I hadn't driven in two months, and realized I definitely needed some help. Tahir was extremely patient and eased my nerves. He taught me how to drive in nder 6 hours, and I was able to pass the test in Edison with breeze. Thanks so much Tahir!

Negative experience: Greetings everyone out there who desires to choose the driving school if you really want to learn how to drive and pass your test do your self a favor DO NOT USE THE TECHNICAL DRIVING SCHOOL I write this review according to my experience and for your own good first let me tell you this THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND THEIR TEACHINGS AND IN THEIR COMMUNICATION . I have chosen them because of their reviews online but that can be done through family members and not actual students. My experience with them as follows: I have requested them for tow hours of driving lessons and I have spoke to TAHIR he is the owner when I requested for tow hours of driving lessons at that time he didn’t say anything but ON THE DAY OF MY ROAD TEST HE IS TELLING ME THAT IT IS TOO EARLY 8:00am so we will do 1 an half hour of driving test. And the person whom he sent he was 12 minutes late but they charge me the full price and his instructions was very terrible no mention of shoulder check speed control and the parallel parking was not sufficient I thank my God that I have watched many YouTube videos on parallel parking and 3 point turn my request to all of you is that if you have to pay more don’t hesitate because it will be worth it I had to pay $175 and without proper training and instructions I have regretted by choosing this company please don’t make the same mistake as I did May God be with you all take care

Fantastic experience: Technical Driving School is great, they provide you step by step guidance on how to become better, help you practice at the location of the road test as well as in other places including highways. Both my wife and I learned from Tahir. The actual road test was a breeze because of all the prep. Don’t think twice, they are the best driving school in the area. Pro tip - worth setting up your appointment a week in advance over call and calling ahead a couple of days to double check, but they are very nice about it even if you forget. They also help students in areas that might be a bit farther away.

Positive experience: Two of my children have taken classes with this school, and up until today it's been a wonderful experience. Their instructors were great, but the lady that does the eye exam in the office is very unprofessional. She called my son a liar because he did not have glasses. My son is 16 years old and if she had an issue with him, she should have spoken to his parents. I am very upset about this because he was embarrassed and he does not wear glasses to see long distance. It seems like excuses were being made for her poor behavior when I called this evening to discuss this. This one incident caused me to drop first star for this business. No one should talk disrespectfully to a child and especially when you are taking my money to serve him!

Fantastic experience: I want to start by saying thank you to Mr Tahir Hussain. I’m over 25 years old, scared to be judged because of my age and the fact that I never had a drivers license before. I found courage and called Technical Driving School, located on Main Street. Mr Tahir was my instructor. He was very accommodating with his time and schedule. He worked with me and listened to my fears and concerns. He taught me with patient and clarity and also shared valuable tips of do’s and don’ts, something that nobody has ever done before. He was super kind and easy to talk to. He is also incredibly knowledgeable not only about driving but about life in general. Today I went for my road test. I had purchase the 6 hours package with the road test included, despite my nerves, he made sure to reassure me that I was going to be okay and guess what? I passed my road test! I don’t have to depend on anybody anymore. I know I did the work but he believed in me from the beginning and his lessons made me super confident. By my first lesson there was no doubts in my mind, and with the help of my instructor Susie I knew i would pass my road test. Fantastic experience: My son's driving instructor was Tahir, who comes highly recommended by our friend. Tahir was very professional and gave very helpful instructions/advice to my son during his lessons. He was very patient and had a very calm demeanor which really helps. They gave very reasonable pricing and very easy to work with.

His fee was quite reasonable and very affordable. On the day of the test, Tahir confirmed our appointment and met us at a pre-established location. Fantastic experience: This is my second time signing up as a driving student with Technical Driving School because my NJ license expired when I had to take care of business while I was away in the Philippines for five years. In both cases that I signed up with Technical Driving School, I had Susie, the owner, as my instructor. In both times that I had her, I passed the driving test with flying colors. The instructions are superb and I would go as far as she is luck in her student's side as well. I highly recommend Technical Driving School if you have a son or daughter that needs to be taught driving or if you simply in need of a refresher for the driving test. All in all, I would be looking forward to working with technical driving school when it's my child's turn to take the driving test. Five stars all the way!
