Fantastic experience: Josh said pass the background check and drug test and I promise you if you work hard you’ll be a Truck Driver! Well here I am ready to hit to roads! The instructors push you pass your limits and will NOT let you fail! It’s simply not an option at this school. I’ve had 2 brothers before me come to the same school and are on the road now as well! Angelo pushed me hard asf last 3 days I wanted to kill him I stg lol like seriously beat his ass like if he say practice one more time lol but it got me through my test and I’m forever grateful for it! “The magic won’t happen unless you make it happen!” - Instructor Nick SOMEONE TELL NICK I MADE THE MAGIC HAPPEN!!!!

Fantastic experience: Boy howdy what a great experience. The director here Josh runs an incredible school that I will be forever grateful for. My recruiter started off my experience with great communication and transparency and my instructors drove it home with a grand slam. I am brand new to this and now absolutely LOVE it and cannot wait to start the career they lined up for me. I start next week and could not be more excited. Thank you Josh, Pedro, Nick, Stephanie, Chris, John, Erik, Tony and everyone else that makes this school and opportunity possible!!! I will absolutely be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: I officially passed today!!! I want to really give a special thank you to every single individual that help me get to where I am today. Miss Sheri. She’s in phase one. I have to thank her for being inspiring. She is definitely tough love in the best way possible. She wants every single person to pass in her class, she gives you all the information you need in order to get your permit if you haven’t received it yet. This isn’t the place to goof around. Remember why you’re there. As long as you’re willing to study your butt off. YOU ARE GOLDEN. Next is phase two. Nick, Angelo, John. These three made driving the truck so much fun. Wonderful instructors and they all have wonderful strengths to help you learn in anyway that works best for you. But you got to be attentive and always take note. Also a side note. They truly make being in the truck a comfortable experience. Because I can’t lie at all I was scared senseless of these trucks. They make it super fun and enjoyable but also stress the importance of being safe!! Phase three. Which is the final week. The hardest one in my opinion. Our instructors were John, Eric and Chris. This was the week that we got to actually drive the truck learn how to do manual and parallel parking. Listen. I can not lie to you. This week was so difficult. But as long as you have the passion and the drive and remember the goal you can do anything. John. Once again was an incredible instructor when you’re actually driving in the truck and trying to shift your gears when I tell you, I was beyond nervous, scared even. John made it so simple and walked you through every gear every step of the way and made sure at the end of it you were always calm and you know your stuff. Eric help me on my maneuvers. He is very patient. He takes his time with you and make sure that you try to see your stuff. And he’s also a joy to be around. Now this is an extremely special thank you to Chris. When I tell you that this man has helped me tremendously in so many ways. Number one he taught me how to get out of my own head and to stop doubting myself and help me learn my maneuver and installed conference within myself. He always was tough on me, but the main reason why was because he wanted me to learn how to fix and correct my own mistakes. He won’t give you any answers at first but it’s to simply help you to learn how to answer your own questions. and I will forever be thankful for him. I’m so happy with my experience here. And I can’t WAIT to see what the next chapter is. Thank you to everyone

Fantastic experience: When I first decided that I wanted to get my CDL license I contacted Tampa Trucking and was connected with Angelic, whom was super nice and very informative so that made me instantly want to choose TT because great customer service goes a long way with me. Now, let’s start with Phase 1 ( it’s 3 phases before you graduate) my instructor was Mrs.Sherie and let me tell you something that lady is very passionate and knowledgeable about what she teaches as long as you listen to what she’s says phase 1 will be a breeze for you TRUST me. Phase 2 I was with Uncle Nick and vote for Pedro ( my nickname for them) lol and babyy they’re the icing to the cake and I say that because they are strict but def won’t set you up for failure they’ll make sure 100% that you’re ready for phase 3. Any questions you have they’ll work with you again just LISTEN Phase 3 I was with Erik, Chris, Tony and Steph who just came onboard. Neither of them will let you fail no matter how hard you try and TRUST they def know what they’re talking about so again just LISTEN and be open to learn how their teaching you and you’ll be fine. They’ll answer your same question 50 times if need be. Remedial phase (you don’t want this phase but it’s a only to make you better) I was with Angelo and he was on my butt like the child’s support office to make sure I passed what I struggled with and I diddddd. Me personally I enjoyed being with Angelo once I accepted it because it allowed me to have more practice. Josh the Director was awesome it’s very rare that you always see the Director because usually they’re hiding behind emails but not my Josh. Manny made sure the bathrooms smelled like faboloso 24/8 and I can appreciate that. My only complaint is the mosquitoes in phase 2 but we can’t control that, and those trucks were a little beat up. Fantastic experience: I truly enjoyed my experience at Tampa Truck Driving School I love the quick and easy process I love the support of all the staff‼️ Special shoutout to (Nick ,Pedro ,Chris & Josh oh & Ms Erica )they are extremely patient and helpful…. Not to mention going through 2 hurricanes & dealing with there own personal lives they still showed up and showed out for us & I appreciate that (class of 9-23-24 i love yall you all have truly became my trucking fam I believe we had one of the most genuine/supportive groups)

Fantastic experience: was amazing all the instructor was very professional, pluss i enjoyed driving bes trucks

Negative experience: I personally can't recommend this place. I attended earlier this year. There wasn't a truck on that lot that could pass a pretrip (including the road trucks). Don't wear anything (clothes, shoes) that you don't want absolutely destroyed, I don't think the inside of the trucks have been cleaned since before I was born. The truck i took my road test in couldn't go over a certain mph or it would literally start bouncing all over the road. If it wasn't for my peers/classmates I don't think I would have learned the things that I needed to learn in order to get my CDL. The student:instructor ratio and the student:truck ration made it impossible to get 1:1 training. And then the disorganization with the school (starting us on a holiday week, their doctors not being able to sign into the system) put a few of our classmates late getting to phase 2 so the instructors had to catch them up and we were pretty much left teaching ourselves. The first 2 days of my class's phase 3 we had 1 truck. I think there was 22 or 23 of us something like that. Mr. Nick, Mr.Travis, and Mr.Chris are wonderful teachers but they're not really given proper tools or time to be able to sufficiently teach the classes. The drama going on with the staff made it an incredibly weird experience. They were actually talking smack about each other to the students and also asking students if they had heard "x-y-z" talking about them. They (admin staff) placed most of the blame on one specific staff member, but it was SEVERAL of them out there acting like that. The person who enrolled me in this school told me that I would test on manual equipment so I wouldn't have the manual restriction, she also said I'd be training on "top-of-the line" equipment.... both of those statements were lies. I did half of my test on a manual truck but not all of the test, now they want me to pay $6500 for a license with a restriction on it that wasn't supposed to be on it. Lol... .. .. You can go to your local community college and get a grant to get your cdl, and then go to work for the same mega carriers that this school sends you to. They don't just hire people from TTDS, they'll hire you from any accredited school. Even if you can't get a grant, it's still thousands of dollars cheaper to go to your local community college or trade school.

Fantastic experience: Good instructors, classroom preparation and hands on driving experience. I am working now for Stevens Transport and enjoy every day I’m out on the road with a new view in my windshield and career in the Transportation Industry.

The Instructors and staff are very friendly make sure they explain everything in great details to make sure you know what you’re doing. I couldn’t have asked for a better school to go to get my CDL.

Negative experience: Just found out loan payments taken out of my paychecks went 'missing' & were never applied to the tuition loan whatsoever, make sure to recheck every single one of your $75 paycheck deduction payments taken out of your work paychecks (recorded on your paystubs) against Tampa Truck Driving School's loan payment summary (request the summary from Tampa Truck Driving School and add up all their payment numbers), especially if they ever try debt collection - Wow. (also will go up in price with interest every day you don't pay it off). *In response to their reply trying to minimize it, Had I not done all the math MYSELF after paying off their false loan summary remaining balance which they say is 'human error', my money simply would've disappeared. I still don't have all my overpaid loan payment money back including the extra interest I paid for the loan payments not being deducted from the loan exactly when they were supposed to be, which they still can't figure out. Good thing I have a paystub record for every single loan payment I ever made.

Fantastic experience: TTDS is a great school. Phase 1 is the classroom which can get a little dull but it prepares you 100% to get the permit. Phase 2 is where the grind kicks in. Nick and Pedro gonna push you hard! Those guys give great advice, tips, and knowledge so you can learn how to think while driving. Phase 3 is where you continue to hone your skills and drive over the road. Both Erics, Angelo, Chris and Tony gave me great advice to correct my mistakes to prepare for the exam. I can’t express how thankful I am for all the wonderful people at Tampa Truck Driving School that help me achieve my goal of becoming a professional driver. Fantastic experience: Thanks to Tampa truck driving school I have my cdl and I want to give a special shout out to a few instructors that really helped me gain most knowledge of the system and how things work but they all are great instructors no cap, Nick is my guy man I love that dude he's the all around player like kobe in the yard lol, Pedro showed me new tricks he had up his sleeve and is very professionally interactive with all his students if you need extra help he's that guy fr, and my guy Eric G. We'll he's that guy that makes you laugh while teaching you and learning from him made me n my wife feel very comfortable (not anxious) safe otr, taught us both alot quick but extremely easy to understand when behind that wheel, he's a awesome guy very patient with you and very helpful and gives you intensive driving time if needed, he assured me that I would pass with the knowledge and skills I've gained Tampa trucking schools need to keep those 3 guys for sure and need more like them all. Eric G is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and the hands-on training was top-notch. I felt well-prepared for my CDL test and now feel confident in my abilities as a truck driver. Fantastic experience: I gotta hand it to the team of instructors at tampa trucking school. They do everything it takes to support you in successfully completing and gaining a CDL licence. They are some of the most patient instructors I've ever worked with, having experience this first hand, in my previous career. I must make special note of ERIC GARCIA, one of the instructors there. He also happened to be one of my instructors. He was very patient with us, as a class and would always make us feel welcomed and comfortable in ourselves, to be able to go through the entire course. Fantastic experience: Eric G. was an exceptional instructor who truly elevated the learning experience during the final phase. He managed to strike the perfect balance between providing comprehensive information and keeping the atmosphere engaging and enjoyable. His teaching style was far from the typical bootcamp approach; instead, he fostered a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone felt comfortable asking questions and contributing to discussions. While the yard manager runs the yard like a BOOTCAMP, and the trucks are horrendous with tons of mosquitoes, the company is working on getting new trucks. Fantastic experience: This school was very good on preparation for otr truck driving. Even down to the poor quality of the trucks that people complain about. You come to appreciate those trucks because if you can master those, driving a brand new truck is a walk in the park. The process was quick (3 weeks) and I passed my test with flying colors. Positive experience: This school gives you a lot of chances to get it right after failing. The best instructors are Pedro, Tony and Chris. They really take their time with you and help you to understand your mistakes and work with you closely on correcting them and understanding. As for me it took me a while to get it down as other students caught on quicker. My best advice is when you get in phase two, really pay attention because they show you one time and throw you out to the wolves. If you don’t get it or understand, Ask questions if you have too, I failed to do that so when I got in phase three I was lost. Overall it’s a pretty good school.

Fantastic experience: Tampa truck driving school is the best school you can go to and obtain your CDL its wasn't easy but with the help of all of the trainers and determination you cannot fail . Every last single trainer was amazing but the one who stuck out the most was thomas . When i tell you any problem i had or any help i needed i only had to ask thomas once and he was there to guide me through and gave me the tools to succeed he is an amazing driver and made it fun to learn driving on the road 10/10 i recommend ☺️

Fantastic experience: My experience at this school was beyond exceptional. I didn’t know where this would take me but I needed to provide for my family. The owner, instructors, and employees here gave me a chance at life and I don’t know where I would be without them. I was immediately employed and I can now say that I am in a place in my life I never expected and it is all thanks to this program.

Positive experience: Staff was actually full of people who knew exactly what they were instructing. Shout out Eric Adam Erik Pedro and Thomas…only downside was the truck we trained on weren’t in good shape, which I expected being we are learning on them, but the road truck should be in alignment if y’all are gonna let new students try to learn on the road with people. Other than that it was a good experience even down to the break room which was always clean

Fantastic experience: I attended TTDS this year, and i had an amazing experience! I had no prior knowledge or experience in the trucking lifestyle when i arrived here but i learned so much in the three weeks of attending. This school. All my instructors were awesome and cared about making sure their students succeeded. I recommend trying this school if you are interested in a gaining your CDL! TTDS also goes above and beyond to make sure before you even arrive to the school you have a job lined up after you graduate!

Positive experience: •Pros: fast schooling, experienced and fun instructors(Thomas and Eric) •Cons: they say they can get you another job before your 6 months is up. I was told today by the conductor “I didn’t say that”. So whatever company you sign with, you’re stuck with until your 6 months are up. Unless you have $1500 to pay out of pocket to your company if you found a job without using Tampa trucking to do it. •other than that the school was good to me

Fantastic experience: This an excellent experience I enjoyed my 3 weeks at this facility and I would most definitely refer anybody trying to get there CDL’s to give these folk a call very professional and family oriented staff. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of going to this school I must admit my first and second day I was terrified I wasn’t going to make it trust Adam he may move fast at the beginning but by the first Thursday you will understand him 100 percent now Eric man he’s a perfect teacher from start believe anything he says when it comes to Driving those trucks I mean anything I can close my eyes and listen to him and trust I’m doing exactly right I saw somebody else say it so I’m going to say it Eric is phenomenal that guy is a GOD with these trucks Mike has the BEST pep talks if you listen to your instructors I promise you’ll be great I’m not even done with school and I’m more then sure I’ll be done on time from listening to my instructors Eric helped me build confidence in myself cause I was so scared to drive the truck now I take what he gave me about confidence in my day to day life even Vanessa is straight forward you can be 1000 percent honest and real with the instructors and they will respect that more then any lie you can tell cause this school is 90% you 10 percent them however you I feel the instructors gave me 100 percent as well thank you all I will leave another review next week when I graduate

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this school, Every instructor is there to help and assist you with anything you need, Adam in week 1 was very informative and was dead set to help everyone get their cdl permit. In week 2, I was with Eric and he Knew all the little tips and tricks there was to teach the yard maneuvers. In week 3, Pedro taught an additional maneuver and sharpend our skills on the maneuvers learned in week 2. Also in week 3, I had Erik the road instructor, he taught us how to double clutch a manual (for those taking the manual test) and how to safely drive a tractor trailer on the road. This school is designed for the people that have little to no experience with trailers. All you have to do is put in the study time, pay attention, and keep practicing. What you put into the school is what you get.

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone I would like to share my excellent experience with Tampa Truck Driving School, when I started there about one month ago I did not know anything about trucks but three weeks later I felt like I was a professional truck driver they taught me how to do a pre-trip inspection, tractor-trailer, maneuvers, straight/backing, coupling/ uncoupling, they show and explained to me every part on the truck and how it works, over the road training, rules of the road, they put all the hard work and effort plus time to make sure that I will be a safe driver on the road they even secure me a great driving job before I have even get my CDL. A special thanks to all my instructors Eric, for the off-set and straight-backing. Anglo, for the Alley Dock, off-set and straight-backing, and Pedro, for Alley Dock, Thomas for over-the-road training, Tony for rules of the road and testing, Eric for over-the-road training and testing. Thanks for the office tame Kiara, Vanessa, and Terry, you guys did such a great job. A special thanks to Mr. Mick the one who running the show thank you so much, sir. Fantastic experience: The best way I can describe my experience at Tampa Truck Driving School, it was a roller-coaster of emotions, and I mean that in the best way possible. From the first Day Mike gave us the expectation of the staff being there for you but they are not going to hold your hand. You have to want it to succeed, First week was basic to get our learners permit but week 2 was when things started to get real. The instructors in our second week of training were great, but I won't lie I struggled a lot when I first touched that steering wheel and I questioned if truck driving was for me, but thanks to Eric in phase 2, who was not about to let me give up, he gave me the confidence to keep going forward and get better. Then in week 3, Pedro took his time to help me more with fine tuning my short comings to prepare me for my CDL test which is very challenging but possible if you allow the instructors to guide you and put in the work! Especially with on the road training, Thomas and Erik really gave me the confidence to drive a semi on the main road! Tampa Truck Driving School was an amazing experience, even the housing was great and allowed to meet so many great people! I highly recommend this school because they are not in it for the money, they are honest, real and made me feel like they want us all to succeed, which I'm happy to say I did! Another big Thanks to Mike also for those great speeches every week, and he was right "everytime you touch that steering wheel, the better driver you become!"

Fantastic experience: Eric the instructor in phase 2 was phenomenal to have as a teacher. He made the learning process very fun and always had the group in great spirits. Was very hands on and knew what he is talking about. Made sure you understood anything you didn’t fully feel understanding about. Eddie, Glen, Thomas, and Pedro also very good instructors and are very professional drivers who have a bunch of knowledge about the industry. Very smooth process with this school and them getting you paired with a job. A plus is in 6months after you graduate, they’ll let you go back for free and test in manual. So I’ll be back in 6months to get those restrictions off. Great school highly recommend TTDS and especially Eric as your phase 2 trainer.

Fantastic experience: This school made sure I got the knowledge I needed. They don’t just pass u just to pass u , they make sure u know what u are talking about before u step in the trucking world and the teachers there show a sense of caring when it come to teaching. Mike the head director does not sugar coat anything or sell u a dream he is straightforward and keeps it 1000 percent genuine to make sure u get the best out of the training. Negative experience: School is terrible the classes are about 20-25 people split between 4 trucks of practice time for 2 weeks and everyone just hogs the trucks and seat time and you barely get any practice because the instructors show favoritism and doesn’t give everyone enough time to practice. Find a better school where there’s smaller classes and more seat time.

Negative experience: I graduated from this school about a week ago and the experience wasn’t very pleasant. For starters this place is literally infested with yellow jackets and mosquitos that constantly get in the trucks while you train. The amount of wasp/hornets here are absolutely ridiculous and definitely impedes on the learning experience. Secondly , 90% of the 3 weeks you will spend at this school takes place outside but yet they don’t have any water fountains and charge you for water bottles. Lastly, the trucks are extremely old and run down so bad to the point where even the instructors where complaining about the lack of effort from the school. The upside is you will get your CDL in 3 weeks but that’s at the cost of waking up every single morning at 6am for 5 days straight 3 weeks in a row and your class will not end until 6pm at night. (Class starts 6am ends 6pm Monday through Friday) That’s 12 hours a day for 15 days straight and most of that time is spent outside surrounded by wasp and mosquitos and no water is provided at all.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always heard that Tampa Truck Driving school is really a great trucking school and with my own experience I can attest that this statement is nothing but the truth . Starting with the staff, Eric from week 2 teaching and letting you learn from your own mistake. Thomas from week 3 who shows you how to stay focus and to notice everything while driving the truck/trailer on the road. Pedro from week 3 teaching 90 degree angle back. Glen from week 3 who takes his time and patience to show you different perspectives on how to move this heavy vehicle. I came Into this school with no knowledge of anything pertaining to trucks; but by the end of my second week I was a pro at everything. Fantastic experience: This was a good time here. Did my first week with Ms.T she was great and funny. Did my 2nd week with Adam, cool guy and patient with students. Did my 3rd week with Pedro for alley rock and Thomas for road driving. Pedro is a cool guy and cares about students. Thomas was my favorite instructor though, I’ll drink a beer with this guy anyday. Super cool guy and super good road instructor. Glenn was the one who performed my CDL test and was a great guy from what I could see in the short time I spent with him. Put your time in and get your reps in. It’s worth it when you graduate and off to the company you signed with. 10/10 recommend

Fantastic experience: I dont ever leave a review for anything. I was very skeptical at first. But then you realize why you learn in the equipment that you do. Adam was my phase one trainer. Very laid back and good at explaining. Ms. T was out classroom instruction and permit prep for those that didn't recieve before arrival. Pedro probably the easiest to teaching the maneuver and always happy to help. Thomas was third week. This guy was an excellent on road instructor. He had patience and explained everything to each student each time they touched the wheel. He broke down how to turn and avoid the curb or grass. Showed how to widen your turn if you cut a little to close. He was easy to drive for when he was teaching. No tension and he wasn't nervous or he was and didn't dhow which makes it 10 times easier if you have never drove a big rig. So. Cudos to everyone but Thomas needs a raise

Fantastic experience: I did some considerable research on different CDL schools before choosing this one. Both time and cost were important, but since time is money this school made the most sense for me. After completing the program, I realized their 3 week intensive course helps focus students on the material needed to pass the CDL test, and improves retention of information. I was also impressed with the staff and their knowledge of the trucking industry, as well as their sincere interest in helping those students truly who want to learn. My biggest take away from this school was the comradery I developed with other students. Truck driving covers all ages and backgrounds, and the people you meet as you go through this training become your allies that will support you through this journey. Positive experience: I got my CDL, however the trucks are a little out-dated (No AC) that’s the only negative thing i can say. I learned a lot and the instructors are very nice and helpful none the less. It’s not easy but it was definitely an experience. I’m satisfied with the turn around time (3 weeks). Fantastic experience: Hello, to anyone that is looking to start trucking school. Let’s just say I went into this school not knowing anything dealing with a semi truck. From day 1 the class instructor Ms. T was amazing. She makes you feel very welcome and shares as much knowledge with you as she can within one week, and is even open to answer any other questions you may have after your weeks time is up with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Second phase I was introduced to Mr. Dwayne, and Thomas, this is the part we all look forward to ……driving the trucks where all of the fun begins they both taught me how to back a semi and how to control my trailer and made it so much fun! Pay close attention in phase 2 guys, this will make the rest of your school process a breeze. Thank me later! I will never forget Mr. Dwayne or Thomas . Thank you both so much! Phase three I was introduced to Mr. Shelton and Mr. Nick they both shared and taught me to alley dock and was always patient w/me and are very knowledgeable. I had Mr. Rick whenever I went over the road this man has been driving for years and shared so much knowledge with me my time with him, I am grateful to have had him! Nevertheless, this is a three weeks program so there is a lot of information thrown at you within a three weeks time. But, it’s attainable if you apply yourself. The instructors are there to help you but most of the work is coming from you. And let’s just say how you apply yourself shows! What you put in is definitely what you are going to get out! SIMPLE! Don’t go in just thinking they are going to hand you your CDL’s because you will be working for it, and it feels amazing to hear those semi air horns being blown at you after passing your state exam on your testing day!. It’s a life changing experience and I am still very proud of making it through this process and attaining my cdl’s!!! I stayed in the student housing, with three other roommates we all got along well and made the three weeks process a smooth process by working together! The apartments were newly built and is in a gated community was seven minutes from the school and just minutes from a gas station and restaurants now that’s luxury and the apartments were nice and comfortable. I hope this helps and thanks TAMPA TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL! Its because of you that I am able to properly inspect my truck from under the hood, to my in cab, and so forth, and feel very comfortable for the next portion of my trucking career !!!! Great school, I strongly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my CDL test. You guys have no idea how amazing and happy I am. First and foremost: thank you all. The instructors, the director, everyone for being positive, wonderful people. When I first came into this school, I had doubts. During my second week, I got extremely sick with the flu so bad that I had to miss a full day of practice. By the beginning of the third week, my mind went into a very dark place. But thanks to my class and the good people here, I came out from it and succeeded. Now then, to the school, the people and experience. Be prepared to put in the work to pass the permit test and then the cdl. They are not just going to hand you your cdl. You need to make sure you are ready to do 3 weeks without a paycheck. They give you the tools needed to make sure you understand how to operate the truck and trailer, what is expected on the cdl test and finally for when you start working as a truck driver. Everyone is very respectful. It doesn't matter what your race, gender, etc is. They will treat you like you are one of their own. As a woman, I never once felt out of place here. They treated me as a friend or family would. Ms. T. I remember when you walked near me while I was sitting there. "wassup Cynthia" in your cheerful, wonderful voice. I was overthinking about the cdl test. And you told me I got this. Yes, I did. Thanks to you and what you taught me and the rest of the class in phase one. She is a wonderful instructor. Please make sure to listen to her, she knows what she is talking about. Phase two: Dwanye and Thomas. You guys are amazing. You made sure to explain to us whatever mistakes we were making and that we were performing the moves correctly and of course safely. I thought I was going to have a bad time outside in the hot sun along with not getting anything. But no, you guys made sure that we understood the steps and provided one on one when needed it. I'm going to miss you guys a lot. Phase three: Nick, you are one awesome driver. You explanation about the Alley Dock was so spot on, in fact it was the reason why I passed. Because I understood what you meant when you were teaching us how to do it. You made sure that we were prepared for the cdl test but also made sure that we were not nervous about it. I was stressing so bad about it but you kept telling us to just remember the steps, to not stress and to take our time. Thank you. So much for those speeches. Glen (I am so sorry if I spelled your name wrong) but I remember your words. They were the reason why I worked hard up until the test. "Work harder, it pays off." And it did. Thank you for the wisdom you provided while being my on the road instructor. Don't ever change, I will never forget that. Overall: hard but well worth it. If you have any questions for them, ask. They WILL help you. They WANT you to succeed. My ONLY, ONE complaint: the. Trucks. When the school can afford it, try to either work on the trucks or get some more. That's it. Fantastic experience: Shelton is the best yard instructor they have, he's very helpful and adept at teaching beginners truck maneuvers. Dave is a great road instructor would not have passed manual testing without him. The CDL test can give you the "worry warts" but it's a breeze if you have these guys as teachers.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about this school. All the teachers and instructors are fantastic; they're all knowledgeable, patient, and ready to help you if you're struggling. Not to mention that everyone likes to have a good time because there's no reason that leaning how to back a truck should be boring. It's 3 weeks of long days but I can say that after passing a few days ago, I didn't want to leave. Some other people have mentioned the fact that the trucks are a little old but to me I don't mind it. At the worst, you'll be used to an old truck that doesn't work well when you start driving for real, but at best, starting your career in a nice truck will feel like a 5 star hotel compared to it, so it didn't bother me too much. If you're on the fence on what school you want to go to, go to this one.

Positive experience: Great school. Great staff. Dewayne and Thomas are excellent instructors. They’re very patient and very helpful. They will make sure you understand the maneuvers very well and they will do everything they can to help you out and get you to phase three. The only thing I didn’t like about the school was the equipment. Doors on trucks don’t open or close properly and they’re very old. Sometimes the clutch is very hard to put in gear and the yard is not properly paved. Other than that this is a great school! Very short course but the instructors will make sure you know everything you need to know and they will do everything they can to help you succeed.

Fantastic experience: My story starts back a couple years. I had the best year financially in 2020. February 1 2021, the COVID shutdowns caught up to me. I lost almost everything, my business, my house, I was rear-ended and totalled my car. January of 2022, I had COVID and almost died from not being able to breathe, I was in the hospital for 4 days and then on the road to recovery. I had to do something, all I had was my Faith in God and my wife and kids. I started my CDL class 3/20/23. Ms. T was my first instructor and is amazing! Her teaching was of course incredible, but even more, was her passion, love and care for her students, I'll explain later. My second week was with Glenn. Glenn has the same incredible teaching, but his passion, love and care for his students nothing short of awesome!!! My third week was with Nick. Nick also has a unique style of teaching that works incredibly! Again more important is his passion, love and care for his students! All three of these instructors went out of their way for me personally. On my final exam day, I started out feeling great and ready to go...then all of a sudden I let myself think about where I was and what is riding on this...well let's just say, I completely freaked out! Ms. T saw me and quickly started talking to me helping me relax, she called Mike the school manager over and him and Nick came over as well. All three of them went so far out of their way to help me calm down and keep believing in what I've learned and in myself. Well, I did calm down and took my test, which my maneuvers were the best I had done the whole time! All this to say...thank you to Ms. T, Glenn, Nick, and Mike for not just being instructors, but proving when they say this is family...they mean it! I will never forget my time here and definitely won't forget these instructors! They helped me change my family's life! I now understand the "brotherhood/sisterhood" of truckers! I've been witness first hand. One last thing to all future students...trust their process and trust them, it's a lot to learn in a short time! Fantastic experience: Mrs Latonya is a great teacher who cuts no corners honest and trustworthy she is one of the best teachers ever… Mr Dwayne is one of the best teachers in here very hands-on lot of integrity. If you’re looking to change your life, Tampa trucking is the way to go.

Fantastic experience: This school is definitely the real deal, from the front office all the way to the trainer’s & examiners, & the classroom, they are patient with their students & willing to do whatever it takes to get them to that next level in your career. I have to recognize Ryan, Mike, Melo, Erika, Dewayne, Paul, Nick, Angelo, Tony, Erik, Dave & Ms T. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be able to say proudly that I have maintained my Class A CDL & it was because of them!

Fantastic experience: I graduated yesterday and I must say everyone at this school is so incredible. I failed Alley Dock the first time while testing and wanted to give up but Mr. Mike came up to me and said "You Will Be A Trucker" to the point he came out hisself on the yard with Angelo to help me. Nick omg I use to look for Nick everyday I came to school lol Nick will make sure you get it no matter how much junk he talks he will definitely go out his way to help you. Angelo is the laid back instructor that really will push you and help you understand where you're going wrong at. Again every instructor at Tampa Trucking is amazing and I will truly miss everyone being that they wasn't just my instructors I grew a different bond with each instructor. I recommend this school to anyone who's looking to become a Truck Driver. Thanks again to all the staff members at Tampa Trucking!
