Fantastic experience: currently in my 4th week here. I will be getting my Class A CDL and taking their Master program. The Instructors- James that teaches theory is an awesome instructor. Dude knows his stuff, engages you in the training, and keeps you tuned to what you need to know. Banjo, all I can say is give me a "HELL YEA"! Dudes energy will keep you lit for at least a week straight. Mikey, all I can say is listen to him and you will pass your test. straight up no lies, dude shows you what you need to pass and more. Don is a newer instructor but laid it out simple in our week 3. he explained the procedure simple and straight. Worked hard with the guys that needed extra help and made sure they got er done. There's a couple driving instructors you work with too. MJ, Nick, and Garrett are all cool dudes and have their own ways of teaching. never a dull moment when working with them. All in all, these guys care about their students. They will usually take time out of their day or even personal time to ensure you pass. if you are looking to attend a school for your CDL, you found it. There's a reason why they have so many past students coming by to say hi on their routes. As for my experience here, I couldn't have asked for a better time. Made some friends, staying in contact with a couple after we all got our CDL. Instructors are gonna get tired of me stopping by every so often to say what's up. Not only did these guys help me get my CDL but showed me that this was the right decision. Now it's time to go hit the pad!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend that if you want your cdl you come here. The instructors I had showed genuine care that I learn and succeed. They did not just push us through to make money or get my class out the door. All stages of the process was smooth from enrollment to classes to on the road training. I took the night class which I found convenient, also the class size is much smaller than day class which felt more one on one. I went through the troops to transport process and have zero complaints.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and take their time to make sure you truly understand and learn everything. The instructors, examiners, even class managers are all extremely professional and respectful. You get your moneys worth attending this school for sure.

Fantastic experience: Great program for military looking to transition into truck driving. Very good instructors, you can show up to this course with zero ability to drive a manual or operate a large truck and leave with the confidence to do it all.

Positive experience: The days are slow and long, and it’s 6 days a week for 2 weeks. There is a lot to take in, and a lot of time to put in. However, it is a valuable learning & training experience. The instructors are pleasant to work with, and empathetic to their students. This is not fun, but it is rewarding. I recommend you get your CDL training here and nowhere else.

Fantastic experience: Equipment could use some care but it's operating and if you can learn on rough trucks then when you're done and in new equipment you'll be great. Knowledgeable and attentive staff that's willing to help you through it though.

Fantastic experience: This place has top notch training don’t let the appearance fool you. Yes they have older truck you practice on but when you are doing road driving the truck are newer and all DOT compliant. The training is very well put together and flows smoothly. From start to begging even if you have never driven a manual in your life they will have you driving a 10 speed in 2 days. All instructors are amazing they have a wide range of skills sets and experience!

All the instructors are very good at what they do and everyone that works the office is a total sweetheart that will do everything they can to get you through the process. 10/10

My entire experience was personable. Everyone employed by the Fountain campus had a great personality, and the patience demonstrated by the instructors was paramount in easing my mind and nerves. I went in not having driven a manual in my life, and left as a competent CMV operator. Thank you USTDS Fountain, you guys rock!

Fantastic experience: Great school. Great campus (Fountain Campus). Plenty of time behind the wheel and very knowledgeable instructors. Paul, Gary, and John are probably some of the best instructors I’ve ever had.

Fantastic experience: This school is very veteran friendly! If you are getting out of the military or been out for awhile, they use your GI bill or VRNE benefits. All of the instructors will help you on the range or the road to ensure you have the knowledge required to get your CDL

Fantastic experience: My experience with this school has been by far one of the best learning experiences in my life. I have had previously had learning experiences with Penn State, and Purdue University. Both of which I completed a Bachelor’s degree with. I had distance learning with both campuses and this was the easiest ever. The behind the wheel training has been hands down fun and educational. I can not say enough good things about this school and learning experiences!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely a serious professional school where I have learned how to safely operate a Class A truck. The instructors are an incredible group of dedicated and talented individuals. Each with a different personality and style where you will learn the skills necessary. It is a school you will be proud to have graduated from.

Fantastic experience: Went through the four week program with zero truck driving experience. Learned a lot very quickly, the instructors give you the basics and then really teach you how to identify a problem and how to fix it. Very mixed group of personalities with the I structure, but all impart knowledge and get you to the "aha!" moments to make you successful.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't ask for better instructors, and if you're a veteran you'll feel right at home here since most of the instructors served previously and they work with you on all levels. Don't get in your head and think clearly, everything else is just accepting you ain't gonna be good at it until you are, and you have two weeks

Fantastic experience: I've been going to school here for the last 2 weeks to get my CDL and the staff here has been wonderful and so helpful throughout the whole process. They'll do everything they can to ensure that you can pass your final exam.

Fantastic experience: Great school, great teachers, highly recommended don't go to any other school if you're looking to obtain your CDL also if possible CALL PIKES PEAK WORKFORCE CENTER before paying out of pocket they have funding. MAKE SURE YOU PRACTICE ON ALLEY DOCKING!!! ITS NOT ON TEST BUT IS USED 98% OF THE TIME ON THE ROAD.

Fantastic experience: John, Paul and Banjo are the very best instructors your going to interact with, John is the best for maneuvers, he’ll have you parking perfect in a matter of minutes, Paul is your in depth pre trip inspection guy, he knows everything about everything and on the road he’s super patient and forgiving, I personally came here never driving a manual, and now I’m actually good at it and he and Banjo are who trained me to get that proficient, Banjo is just the best teacher anybody could ask for, he literally checks every block that you could ever want as an instructor. Highly recommend this school.

With going with different instructors every time you drive the different teaching styles help everyone understand. The only improvement that I have is some type of lunch could be provided or catered in.

Positive experience: Great instructors and great hands on experience! You get several hours of drive / maneuver time!! That said, their facility needs some work. The classrooms were cluttered with old boxes and an old computer was just sitting on the end of a table, inoperable, collecting dust. Thanks again for the experience!

I am very grateful to have someone like John M the instructor there to guide me every step of the way. He's method just like the military would do to you and break you down and build you back up in a good way of course. P.S if you're about to get out the military or a vet come check them out and use your GI bill all expenses are practically paid for and or reimbursed.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding school for active and vets. This is adult education if you dont want to put forth your time and energy got to a school that will hold your hand. Older trucks on the range new trucks on the road. The instructors gave a block of instruction and let you try to make it if you could they moved on if not they helped you until you were proficient and effective. Great group on instructor, examiners, and the training manager is a great guy. Class felt overwhelming but was made understandable and as you trained on what was discussed you feel way more comfortable. Also something alot of people dont think about is ive made some great friends here being prior army even with the jar heads 7/2 baby

Fantastic experience: Loved amazing instructors are very helpful Friendly and great most are Veterans which made me feel great and also learned so much in such a short amount of time didn’t think it was possible but was proven wrong shout out to Clint Banjo John Paul and Gary who were the best instructors out there and very helpful LOVED IT 100% recommend would go all over again. If you are trying to get your CDL this is the place to go you would NOT regret it ALL the instructors are very well knowledgeable and have many years under their belts driving and dealing with semi-trucks
