Fantastic experience: Strongly recommend. Miss Tracy was my instructor and I could not have one complaint. She is very friendly and considerate. Definitely recommending southern Maryland driving academy without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I opted in for virtual class via Adobe Connect for my driving school requirements. I had a teacher named Ms. Tracy, and she is really nice and down to earth. She's honest with us and her class is pretty fun. She is also willing to work with you if you have a crazy schedule. Love this driving school!

Fantastic experience: I had the online course and Miss Tracy as my teacher she was really nice and drove the teaching deep into my head and the class was really easy because of her. Then i had Mr. Bill as a driving instructor and he was one heck of an instructor. He always compliments whenever you do something good and lets you know when you “fail” so you won’t do it again. If i had to Id take the class all over again just for the experience.

Negative experience: Did you notice the 700 fake reviews that are all copies of each other? This place has incredibly bad communication and they will refuse to schedule driving sessions. Very unprofessional business as well. Do not go here!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Bill was a very good driving instructor, and I believe I’ve been made a better future driver because of it. He hammered in the really important lessons, and he made the lessons fun (as well as terrifying, with the stories of collisions that came up and me being slightly squeamish)(it helped make me want to be better at paying attention). I know I enjoyed it here and learned what I needed to because I really do remember the lessons (for the most part). I’m very glad I took this class!

I've put off getting my license as a New Yorker because it wasn't necessary for me but since moving to Maryland I realized it was finally time, at the age of 26. Jessica made the class enjoyable, especially for someone like me who is a decade older than the majority of students. Class time went by quickly and she provided useful anecdotes.

Fantastic experience: I had Ms. Tracy and she was very funny and a helpful driving instructor. Would recommend anyone to go to this driving school 10/10 experience. Note that they have been busy and are working on getting people in as soon as they can.

Memorable stories, did a great job of teaching us, and scaring us, so that we will be as aware and careful while driving as we can be, in order that we live as long as possible. Good laughs as well, really helps you remember things. I have personal and professional respect for Mr. Bill. Handled some *difficult* students well. Despite my personal aversion to explicit language, I’d absolutely recommend SOMDA, as long as Bill is there. Fantastic personality. He’s the man. P.S. they have free “Student Driver” stickers for students.

Every lesson was carefully crafted to provide the most valuable and easy to understand information about staying safe on the road, while at the same time he was doing an amazing job at keeping lessons fun and engaging. He’s very good at story telling and he is very entertaining. He is very educated and smart he knows pretty much everything and has every degree certification and masters you can think of he’s a great teacher and role model and is a great teacher for driving and anything about drivers education.
