I’m not sure you can find a better instructor than Dave (although I’ve heard great things about Mike too!). Dave made the class a genuinely fun experience. I had never been on a motorcycle before this class, but the way he teaches makes it so easy to learn. If you’re looking for a good place to take a motorcycle class, this is the spot! The bikes that you learn on are all in great shape, the class location is easy to get to, and again, the instructor is awesome!

Fantastic experience: Took the training with David Gray. He has 800,000 miles of riding experience. He deserves a nickname like "Diamond Dave" with all that travel. A great class with some good veteran advice and training.

Out of all the options around, this place felt the most professional and thorough on the website and turned out to be the case in person as well. Mike was super communicative, going above to share other helpful links and experiences to ensure we were the most prepared we could be through the Beginner course. A lot of attention to detail with the set up of the course and training made it flow really well. Fantastic experience: I completed the Basic Motorcycle Training course with GO Motorcycle Training School. The process was very easy and straight forward. You compete all written and reading portion online through MSF before you have your riding training. So, once you arrive on the first day you go straight into riding training. They also provided a Honda Grom bike for riding training and helmets were readily available if needed. My instructor, Mike, was excellent. He was clear and concise on what exercises we were doing and took extra time on exercises we needed more work on to ensure we were ready for the final test. Overall, my experience with GO Motorcycle training was great and I recommend anyone with experience or without experience to take this course to get your endorsement for your Motorcycle License.

I can't imagine very many people feel confident their first time sitting on a motorcycle, but it really compounds your knowledge well and helps you feel increasingly more confident as you progress. The instructor, Dave, was great. Coached patiently with us as beginners which really helped create a safe learning environment. Great knowledge and experience. You can also tell he himself loves to ride by the comfort and joy you see from him during the demonstrations.

Fantastic experience: Just recently complete the MSF training class in Irving and am now qualified to get my motorcycle endorsement. Taking the class with Dave, through GO was a great experience. Two days of soggy, soaking wet, raining riding with the class run safely, professionally, and still enjoyable, despite the bad weather we happened to have. The experience the class had starting out went from absolutely none ("I've never touched a clutch in my life") with others owning their own bikes and needing to get the "M" endorsement ("I got pulled over and got a ticket in downtown Dallas because my bike was too loud"). Everyone had to do the same MSF/State required exercises, starting with the very basics ("The lever on the left handlebar is the clutch") and ending with everyone passing the State riding exam. There was no complaining about the pace and all came away with new knowledge and experience they didn't have going in. I would definitely recommend taking the class with Dave at GO. It was an enjoyable, educating experience.

He relayed so much information to our class during the 2 days. I honestly wish we could go back for more time with him! Even as a rider with some time under my belt; I was able to learn and expand my knowledge base and bike handling skills. I’ll be utilizing that info in the coming months to hone in my skills and put the odds in my favor of safe riding. The Class: This class was fun!! There’s no better way to learn than to do it while you’re having a good time. The material was well presented and easy to comprehend. It was the perfect transition from getting on the bike to being “highway ready”. It was smooth, structured, on time and well run. No time wasted. The Equipment: The equipment provided suited the class needs. Bikes were properly maintained, safe, and ready to go each day. The course was laid out well with plenty of both riding space and buffer space to isolate us from other drivers in the area. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Total scam if you're truly a beginner. Unbelievable. I got kicked out of the class for holding everyone up because I was a total novice; there were 7 other participants with way more experience than me some illegally, and now my few hundred bucks is completely wasted. I don't know what to do, it's called a beginner class that's WHY I signed up. I thought this was for learning how to ride like a 4-year-old on a bicycle with an adult next to me that's how it's advertised. Just left me in the dust to focus on everyone else. Learned that some safety courses have a pre-class course and this is not one of them. WARNING: DO NOT sign up unless you have some prerequisite riding experience, they have the right to kick you from class for simply being a beginner.

Fantastic experience: Hey Dave was amazing !!! It took me a while to handle the clutch and the quick braking, but Dave was patient and got me through the process. So I passed the training course and can go get my motorcycle license now!

He is firm and fair and recommend this class to beginners, other levels, or those that simply want to get back to basics for a refresher.

Fantastic experience: Dave (not Mike ) was a brilliant instructor. Definitely would suggest for anyone who wants to get their motorcycle endorsement or to just brush up on their skills. I have been on bikes most of my life and Dave pointed out a couple of bad habits I didn't even know I had. He took the time to explain what I was doing incorrectly, while explaining why that way might not be safe and then clearly explained how to properly do it. I actually had a blast. I'd do it again... If I'd it again if I didn't have to pay.

Fantastic experience: Super happy I signed up for the Basic Rider Course through GO Motorcycle Training School. I had taken a motorcycle safety course years ago in a different state and never finished the process of getting my license. I finally decided it was time to ride again and wanted to get my license. One of the best parts: having the course in Denton! Second best part of this course: we got to learn on modern 125cc motorcycles. No super old and falling apart bikes here. Lastly, my instructor Mike was an awesome teacher. He had a great way of relating motorcycle riding skills to real life situations. After passing the course, I bought a bike and have been riding daily (even in this heat) ever since. I’m looking forward to signing up for the advance course in 18 months.
