Fantastic experience: Im a junior in high school that just completed the driving test and just got my license. I booked my 6hrs and a 2hr refresher from Compas and needless to say they are very clear and helpful on how to teach and guide you to drive. They are very nice and tell you exactly how the exam is set up and what to do to pass it. Their techniques are very detailed and definitely helped me pass the drivers test.

Fantastic experience: I have to be honest. This is by far the best driving school. I have tried a few and failed my test. Second time when I scheduled my test. I reached an out to compass. ALAM, was incredible. He is so kind and considerate. He focuses on your weak points and makes sure your nerves are under control. He’s so polite and teaches you with so much professionalism and utmost care. Initially I was sceptical that everyone’s wants to just finish their job and go home. But compass really focuses on making you pass your test and helping you b a better driver for good. They focus on safety and give you confidence like no one else. Specially shoutout to Hajj for calming me down when I called her crying when I failed my first test lol( I took the classes from another school) shoutout to Nazia who was equally polite and caring. If you want to pass your road test, you must choose compass. Love and only love for this school❤️ good job

Fantastic experience: All thanks to the wonderful teacher and trainer(Naziazeb). She woke up very early to train me and every time she was smiling. She accompanied me to the exam and trained me well two hours before it, from six in the morning until the exam time. She gives you confidence with a beautiful smile and calmness. I got my license from the first exam! All the best to the best school!

Negative experience: I would not recommend Compas driving school to anyone. we paid for the 6 hour training as well as the pre-driving test refresher and use of their car for the test, thinking we covered all the bases for a smooth experience. The owner showed up 20 minutes late for the refresher and as we arrived at mvc at the time they scheduled for us, we found our 17 year old daughter alone crying . The owner had left her there after advising her that his office scheduled her 2 hours late and she could not take the test. Did not wait to explain his error to us, and was incredibly condescending and argumentative on the phone. He lied and said he was "just an instructor" and could not give us the same refresher on the rescheduled date, only to later yell about being the owner and saying it was "not going to happen". I can see why they insist on a check or other non contestable form of payment, because I was blamed for not checking the time on the permit when it was his office that scheduled all of our times as they were paid well to do. This "professional" school turned our child's big day into a stressful nightmare. She was able to take the test the following day, causing me to take another day off, and fortunately did pass, coming home to lie in bed and de stress after this unnecessary experience. what a shame, please do yourself a favor and pick any other place to make your student's experience a good one. *** Edit to reflect follow-up. I was contacted by staff who seemed genuinely concerned about the company's reputation and were apologetic. I also failed to mention the positive experience my daughter had during the first training phase of the service for her 6 hours with a different employee. I appreciate them following up and making things partially better and wish them luck in the future.

Fantastic experience: I took my 6 hours to acquire my permit here, and got my license at the dmv through compass, and they were great. Alam, David, and Philippe were the 3 different instructor that I had. They were nothing, but professional and personable. Be it the small talk during the drives, or the actual instruction, it was a great experience.

Friends car and the registration was expired!‍♀️ we called compas the man was super friendly and kind and said “no worries, it happens” and gave me Nazis number who happen to be at the DMV already…..she wanted for us to get back there (bc we had driven off) and greeted us with the biggest smile and was so kind and positive to my daughter who happen to be super nervous and v anxious! Fantastic experience: My daughter Jayda failed the road test twice and went to three different driving schools. After failing the second time, my daughter found Compas driving school. I called them and explained to them the journey my daughter has been on. The woman I spoke to over the phone I think her name was Aiman was super nice and comforting. I booked my daughter for a 2 hour refresher course before her road test. They booked her road test for today and with the proper guidance from NAZIA, she PASSED!!! NAZIA THANK YOU FOR GIVING MY DAUGHTER THE CONFIDENCE AND MAKING HER FEEL EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE BEHIND THE WHEEL. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Rude instructors, the only reason they have good reviews is because at the end of your final lesson they make you sit there and write a five star review. I told them I didn't want to and they said they wouldn't give me my permit if I didn't write it. I wrote the 5 star review but I'm changing it now because it was not honest and I was pressured into it. They're not worth the money and aren't even good instructors. In response to their reply: I am in the system as I took lessons with them and have called numerous times to let them know their rude behavior during the lessons was unacceptable, but of course I do not even get an apology all they do is hang up. Find a different driving school if you want to give your money to good people and learn to drive well.

Fantastic experience: Dave helped me begin driving and was very patient with me. Alam was also great to help me, especially with lane changes on the highway. Everybody was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I am glad I chose Compass Driving School to prepare for my NJ driving test. Nazia Aurangzeb the owner was very nice to arrange for my lessons. I was assigned Dave Wheeler the instructor to prepare for my test. Dave is a professional who knows the driving test very well. Dave prepared Mr to overcome my anxiety in parallel parking, K turns and reverse driving very well. I felt fully prepared for the exam and aced it first try! The older Dr. Khan was a great first driving instructor because he taught all of the essentials and gave valuable life lessons about driving!! The younger Dr. Khan was extremely welcoming, patient, and fun to chat with for the three two hour sessions that I took! He was extremely patient with me and had an amazing vibe that made driving a more comfortable experience, would 100% recommend!

On the parallel parking, she taught me how to fix myself when I’m too far or too close to the curb. She taught me in a way I could understand. She had the confidence that I could be an independent driver. She also let me drive on the highways. I was able to pass the road test thanks to her help.

I am glad I found Compass driving schools and especially Nazia. She is the best and will really help you to teach easy tricks and make sure you are fully confident in driving. I can drive confidently because of her. Also Naima and Huma are great instructors who really helped me to boost my confidence driving locally and in highways. I drove with Naima on a rainy day in highway. It was heavily raining but she kept on boosting me and I being a beginner, drove for two hours in the highway. Thanks Naima. Fantastic experience: After classes from Naeema, I am getting confidence in my driving. Now I can drive both in country roads and highways in speed limit by feeling the speed change rather keeping sticking completely on the speedometer and making sudden decisions. Also the routes she preferred are very good, so that I practiced to all types of roads like narrow, curvy, uphill, downhill, four way junction, etc. The way she instructed me is very good during the complete session and I recommend my friends and neighbors for learning driving with Naeema.

Fantastic experience: Naeema was a great instructor. This was my first time driving and she instructed me very well. She taught me how to make proper turns, how to maintain speed, how to switch lanes, and when to stop. Overall, this was a great experience and Naeema is a great instructor.

Negative experience: Naeema was very kind and understanding. She was patient with me as someone who gets overwhelmed very easily and is very sensitive. That was my review previously. Which I was pressured into writing. Here is my updated one: The reason I chose this driving school is because I get very overwhelmed very easily and have heard from my peers that they would get yelled at. I paid 400 dollars of my own money as a 16 year old at the time. My first session, I cried. My instructor was Naeema. At the end of my first 2 hours before going home, she stood by my car and told me to write her a good review. I said okay, and she started saying things like "I will check to make sure you left one," so she stood there as I was writing the review at the top and I felt very pressured into writing one. When learning how to parallel park, they taught me with a backup camera. I proceeded to ask if I could learn how to without the backup camera because I don't have one, and even if I did, I'm not allowed to use one on the test. They said they could only teach me using the backup camera. In my second session I had Dave. He was a really great guy, and if not for him, I'd probably leave one stars. He was a very chill guy and made me feel comfortable. I was in a good mood the entire time when driving with him. However, nobody taught me how to parallel park without the backup camera. A couple days prior to my test, I was practicing non stop on how to parallel park, and because they didn't properly teach me how to do it without the camera, I was sure I was going to fail. But after practicing and teaching myself how to do it without the camera, I was able to pass, but nearly didn't. I recomend Dave, but make sure where you're going let's you use a backup camera or demand to learn without a backup camera. Thank you

I was not confident in my abilities, but after many lessons I felt like driving was an attainable goal instead of something insurmountable. I couldn't have passed my Road Test without him!

Negative experience: My wife had a Worst experience with instructor Nazia. Waste of time and money. I don't recommend to anyone. Your world famous instructor is a very good chatbox nothing else.she didn't even taught parallel parking properly to my wife. Not keeping up the appointment time and always late. I clearly told its my wife who took the lessons and not me then how can you find my info in your system. If I am your competitor, I don't even care taking time to put my review. Because you are not even worth to write a review about.most probably the rest of the world thought the same and didn't even want to write a review. When I am giving an honest review you are taking me as a competitor, jealous guy. You are a piece of scammer. Guys stay away from this scammers.
