Fantastic experience: Ted taught me parallel parking, k-point turn, and reverse in 1 lesson. I took the lesson a day before my test. He taught me pretty well with a lot of patience. Made me practice over and over, guided me really well. He also gave me a lot of tips and taught me all the rules. I had my road test today, and I passed it without any hassle. Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing time learning to drive with Providence. I had both Ted & Kevin for my lessons and they are both absolutely amazingggg!! We had great conversation and of course I learned a lot in just 5 classes. I passed my test on the first try! I can’t remember the name of the sweet lady that took me to my test but she was also amazing! I feel pretty confident joining the driving world now! I’ve never touched a wheel before coming here mind you. You won’t regret getting lessons with this school!

Fantastic experience: Theodore was a good teacher. Taught me the right wait to park and reverse. He talk to you for a while and try to find the problem and help you get better at, he can see stuff that the apprentice won’t know they need to work on. He would let them know oh u need this that very good teacher. And Angel was a very good person and kind heart it he took his time the first time I took the test even tho I fail he make sure what I did wrong and told me to go to the driving school and make sure I work what I did wrong. And the guy that took me to the road test today was very kind we laugh a lot in the car while going there he help me calm my mind.

His patient approach along with appropriate autonomy given in later classes made me very confident before the road test which I was able to pass. Fantastic experience: As a college student I found that it would be best to pursue getting a license which I unfortunately was not able to do before; I decided to take classes with Providence Driving School in both September and October, I took about 9 classes with the school to make sure I was ready which I absolutely was! Today I passed my road test first try, and while I was of course a little nervous I completed the test with absolute ease and I believe this is due to my instructor Ted Lopez teaching abilities. He explains everything in a very clear and concise manner, and answers all questions no matter how silly they may seem. What I liked best however is that it seems as if he truly trusts you to be behind the wheel which helps lessen the anxieties that come with driving and helps to make you feel confident and comfortable, setting you up for success once it is time for your road test. Excellent experience :)

Positive experience: I've been with this driving school almost a decade ago, but I couldn't always afford classes, and I wasn't available to do my road test often which made it difficult to continue or pursue my license. The instructors I had in the past were fairly decent. Now, after a long time of not attempting to get my license, I booked few sessions with this driving school again for the summer. I was worried what the outcome would have been, but I met different instructors. The one instructor that I worked with often was Ted. I had six classes with him and he taught me very well. I learned everything I needed to know about the road. He advised me like a teacher or professor would and it was the best help I've ever had for me. I felt comfortable and safe. My new experiences of driving classes with Ted were much better results and a better outcome, compared to what I have taken years ago. I passed my road after taking six classes with Ted. I want to make sure I was ready so that I can eventually drive to work and this was the experience that I needed. I've been a teacher for almost 10 years, and the best driving classes I have experienced was working with Ted as my teacher. In a few years, I'm hoping my daughter will have the opportunity to learn from him, too. I do have to mention that unfortunately, the other instructor Wilson, I didn't have a good experience because I wasn't comfortable, I wasn't learning, and I wasn't happy. He was very difficult with his communication skills, I only drove with him for an 1 hour and that was disaster for me. I couldn't do it anymore. I can tell that he did not trust that I'm an experienced driver or that I can do well behind the wheel. Through that hour, he would brake for me and put his hand on the wheel, rather than tell me what I should be doing and break when it's very urgent. He would barely talk and explain things, and my anxiety levels peaked because of poor miscommunication. I did confront him that I need him to communicate better so that he can teach me. I paid $55 for that hour but I would rather refund cause I didn't get anything out of it and it was a waste of my time. He's not an experienced teacher and he needs better interactions with teaching. I highly recommend to monitor his teaching and communication skills if he's going to instruct further students. In my personal experience, I felt like he was a little sexist because he liked to have control of the whole situation over teaching, which I did not like and it makes him look very unprofessional. Overall, to the Providence company, I'm grateful and thankful for my experience with Ted. Because I learned the most, and the best about driving through him and I finally passed my road test.

Fantastic experience: Instructor Ted Lopez is the best of the best! I took 13 classes, 12 of them were with him, I had 0 experience during my first class & today I passed my road test all thanks to him. My anxiety was at an all time high but this man was so very understanding & attentive, he answered every question I had to the best of his ability, he calmed my worries & anxieties, gave really good advice when it came to real world driving, his instruction is greatly appreciated. Not only is he professional, he knows what he's doing, he taught me how to park & k-turn, in a way that's beneficial in everyday use, he made it so easy, top tier teaching, I don't think I would have passed had it been anyone else. Even at the road test, the instructor there said I did really good! Bc I learned from the best! 100000/10, Thankyou Ted!!!

Fantastic experience: I took a class the day before my road test and it was great. My instructor was Ted Lopez, and he was able to teach me everything I needed to know before like with parallel parking and the 3 point turn. I was able to feel calm while driving, and Ted was able to show me other tips like how to get closer to the curb and what to expect on the test to make sure I was prepared. That lesson helped me feel more confident and calmer to take and pass my road test on the first try

Fantastic experience: As an embarrassed, 35 year old, getting his license for the first time, my primary driving instructor, Ted was kind, reassuring and encouraging. Fantastic experience: I heard about Providence driving school through a colleague where I work. I already had my CDL A but with an E restriction. Meaning I could only drive automatic trucks. My colleague told me it was a gentleman by the name of Pedro who he swore by could help me learn how to drive a manual in 2 weeks. So I gave Pedro a call and he was very professional and helpful in helping me get everything goin as far how to get my restriction removed a schedule days for me to come. When I got there I was absolutely terrible at the manual but Pedro was very patient with me.My second day I was with another instructor but the name of Kevin. This is where my manual became increasingly better. Kevin was an amazing instructor and down to earth as they come. He was able to help me go from a horrible beginner to a moderately decent manual driver. He was extremely motivating. His calm demeanor allowed me to relax instead of being tense and scared. Both Pedro and Kevin had faith in me and I thank them so much for it. As for my ending results I am currently in the DMV now waiting to get my restriction removed. That’s right I PASSED.
