Fantastic experience: Himalayan driving school has amazing customer service. They always respond fast and make accommodations if needed. The staff is polite and professional. My instructor, Forhad, just helped me get my license. The process took less than a year. He is a great teacher and has an easygoing nature that makes students feel comfortable. I am so thankful for the support, advice, and encouragement I received.

Saheeda, a gentle and patient instructor gave me proper lessons. Just with her instruction and Himalayan advisement i was able to pass the test without a sweat. Fantastic experience: I don't really write reviews but I had to give my honest assessment. Himalayan driving school provided great service. They had a good instructor that helped me prepare for the road test in which I passed. Shout out to the instructor Azad. He was firm and serious and not very friendly. If you're sensitive he's not the instructor for you. But he was dedicated to help you past your road test. He knows his stuff. Although I had a disagreement with the front desk girls at the driving office, they were very professional nonetheless. In addition their packages and pricing are more economic than any other driving school I've been to. Overall Himalayan driving school is a great choice that I recommend. The only suggestion I would say for them to improve on is to accept credit card or debit card payments. They only accept cash or zelle. 5 stars from me still.

Fantastic experience: I passed within my first try ⭐ So glad I found Himalayan driving school, I read a lot of the review and requested Shahida as everyone mentioned she is great and everyone was right. So glad I requested her, she made me feel safe and calm during the lesson, did not rush me at all and super easy to talk to which is super helpful as all my questions were answered and she instructed me easily. Highly recommended everyone was so lovely in the business. And the receptionist was so lovely and helpful, the reminders and word of support was so nice.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time at this driving school. I came in with absolutely ZERO experience in driving. I have never even touched a steering wheel before. After 20 lessons I passed the drivers test on my first try. My instructor was super nice and yet she was strict enough to tell me my mistakes and things I should improve on. She was patient and was easy to talk to. I definitely recommend the 10 or 20 hour classes if you are a beginner.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience and passed my road test. I did 90 minutes with a Himalayan Driving School instructor the morning of my test and used the same car for the test. The instructor was very encouraging and answered all of my last minute questions. He also gave me a new parallel parking method that I learned and successfully used on the test just a few hours later. I would definitely recommend!

They truly care about your learning and accommodating anything to best fit your needs. For example, the secretary helped plan my lessons, the 5 hour course, and schedule the driving test, making everything go by smoothly. I used Himalayan Driving School for a 45 minute driving practice and the road test. Loved their service. Fantastic experience: Himalayan driving School is the best school in Queens, New York, USA. My driving instructor is Shaheda who is very professional, amazing and a-knowledgeable. I recommend to all who wants to start learning driving to choose the instructor Shaheda. She was on time always and was very good at explaining everything. Fantastic experience: I booked one lesson and car rental for the road test. The lesson was mostly to get comfortable with the car and driving here in the US for the first time (and the last time I'd driven had been 5 years ago). The administrative staff is very friendly and they had availability for my road test date and time. My road test was scheduled for 8:30am but I was there with the instructor and car at 7:50 and we were just the third car in the queue, which was perfect because there were 3 examiners on that day and I didn't have to wait past my scheduled time. One thing to watch out for is that during my lesson the instructor taught me a "safe" way for parallel parking by first aligning the mirror with the door handle of the front door. I tried that on the test day because I wanted to be on the safe side but the examiner told me that I had to align mirror to mirror at least. Luckily I knew how to park, but I imagine the way the school or instructor teach the maneuver should be adjusted because it's not universally accepted by examiners and beginner students may fail because of the requirement. After the test the staff even messaged me later in the day with congratulations for passing the test, which was unexpected but a positive sign that the school cares about providing a good customer service. I don't have much to say about the instructor but he had good intentions. There was a bit of a language barrier sometimes and it was hard to understand his accent but everything worked out in the end. I recommend this driving school and I'd use their services again if I had to.

Fantastic experience: I passed on my first attempt all thanks to Shaheda! She was incredibly helpful and very informative. She provided great feedback during each lesson and made such I had perfected all of the skills I needed in order to pass. Gina was also very sweet and super helpful in making sure I got the lessons during the days/times I needed. Himalayan driving school is amazing and the services they provide are great! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Shahida was a great instructor and helped me pass the road test. While she was away Azad was my instructor and he was great as well. I highly recommend this school. I felt very comfortable and understood what I needed to pass the test and improve. Thank You so much! I wanted to add that Zeena was so helpful and organized!

Fantastic experience: I used Himalayan Driving School to rent a car for my road test as well as take a lesson beforehand to get acclimated with the car. The process of booking a car was extremely simple and they got back to me incredibly quick. My instructor, Mamun, did a great job of providing my some last-minute tips to help me succeed. Highly recommend!
