They make sure to work with you as much as needed, until your skilled are honed for your exam. The schedule they have is also amazing. I was working two jobs and being a part time student in college. I was still able to squeeze in classes at this school, because of the schedule they run. If there’s a place to learn and get ready for your CDL exam, it is at this school!

I thought , that in order to get the Cdl A, someone has to put in tonnes of personal time..No, I was mistaken, the top notch instructors at Sergio's (Ross, Brian, Chris and Luis) not only teach you the fundamentals of trucking but they also make sure that they work on each individual's weaknesses..Today, after only 3 weeks since my enrollment and not even attending the classes full time, I passed my driving test..Can't really recommend this outstanding school enough. Very hands on approach to learning and plenty of time behind the wheel. Multiple times the instructors would go out of their way to assist students individually to ensure no student was left behind. Fantastic experience: Sergio’s and his team are Rock Stars! I had no idea what to expect. I talked to a couple different Truck Driving Schools but after my call with Chris I decided to show up the next morning and feel it out. As I entered the office I was immediately greeted by Sergio & Chris smiling and welcoming me to their world. They made me feel good about starting this journey with them and I said where do I sign, let’s do this. Next, I went out to the yard and met Bryan & Ross. They really broke the mold on those two. They have a way about them that’s hard to put into words. You really need to experience them as instructors to fully take it in. The passion for what Ross does comes through in every word he speaks and Bryan's demeanor makes you feel like you have been friends forever. Chris, Ross & Bryan gave me all the tools I needed to get my head in the game. You get the one on one training you need and you also get this feeling of family with the other students. Working together, helping each other and sharing how you learned is very important. Sometimes we need to hear things from the students perspective to help comprehend it. The perfect balance is what you get at Sergio's. And then there is the man, Luis. The one who lives at the DMV and steals all the knowledge. The ace in the hole everyone needs. Luis was there to fine tune me and be by my side on my test day. So today, after 15 days of school and a lot of homework I passed on the first try. Class A with Passenger endorsement in one swoop! When I went to the school after my test today to thank everyone Sergio was there with that same smile he had the day I met him. If you’re serious about getting your CDL and willing to put in the work, head out to Simi Valley and meet Sergio & his team. The best decision for my future I could have made. I really can’t thank Sergio’s Trucking School enough. My only regret is not getting a group photo of me with these 5 men who helped change my life forever. Respect to you all

All you have to do is put in the time and effort. Remember the basics for rules on the road and apply it to your class C when on the road for your test.

Show up as much times as you can and you will pass! To give you a reference I signed up and paid on 10/16/23 with an out of state license and passed on 11/09/23 with a Class A License/Tank Endorsement. It took 3 weeks and 3 days since I had no job. But most do it in 4-5 weeks if they stay consistent and practice during school and at home. Worth the experience!!

Fantastic experience: I visited around 6-7 places while looking for a school. And I choose Sergio after a small talk with Ross - this guy is a treasure. And in general, Sergio gathered a great team of instructors. Luis, Chris, Bryan, and Ross - thank you all. They will ensure you are ready before your exam and are always there to help you. On exam day, they brought trucks to DMV at 5:45 in the morning so that we could practice everything right before our exams (on the picture). No one else was there so early, only Sergio's trucks, which again showed me these guys care about me passing the exam. Others schools brought trucks exactly to the exam time without any chance for students to practice before it. I had no experience or knowledge, never drove a truck in my life, and just passed my exam yesterday on the 1st try after five weeks of studying and practicing. That was a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Good hours easy to work with the instructors, they work with your schedule and help you out on the pre-trip and brake test. Luis is the best laugh out loud.
