Fantastic experience: My experience was exceptional with First Class. I started out with another company and because of some technical issues had to find another company. My daughter also was a customer and she referred me , she pass and I haven't looked back since. I also want to note I took a road test with the first company I was with ans I failed because I wasn't ready. I started with the instructor Arileidy and finished with her...and truthfully there was another instructor whose good as well. Arileidy was patient, makes you feel comfortable, and will definitely let you know when your not paying attention...straightforward!! And even when I thought I was ready when we first started she told me you will know when your ready and that is so true. I was ready and I knew because I wasn't as nervous and I had this calmness that I can't explain. . Everyone is respectful from the receptionist to the instructors its a good place to gain your freedom of learning how to drive.

Positive experience: Everyone was nice , but 2 out of the 5 instructors I had were unprofessional and didn’t teach me anything at all. They were my instructors for the majority of my lessons. Those 2 instructors were actually fired and no one offered me make up lessons for the money and time I wasted on the lessons with them. This was my first experience driving and they kind of ruined it for me.I did not pass the road test.

They’re understanding, caring and patient with you. No one is perfect and everywhere you go there will be mishaps..that’s life; however FIRST CLASS Puts your needs first to ensure you have a successful road test!

Fantastic experience: First Class Driving School & Handicap Division Inc was amazing. They helped me pass my driving test. The drivers were professional and assisted me every step of the way. Tiffany was my main instructor. She was knowledgeable of the road, how to drive and explained what I needed to correct. She made me feel comfotrable and because of her I was able to pass my driving exam-the first time I took it. They even called me to congratulate me and provide me with my pre-licensing course completion certificate. If you want professional drives at a great cost ( the classes were not expensive and reasonable) make sure to call them or better yet go in person. They are very friendly and caring. I highly recommend to all. I took my driving lessons in the Bronx location (2410 University Avenue)

Negative experience: Very displeased with my experience. Came from 0 driving experience - got a 10 lesson package deal for $380 which is a good price, but the services matched the low cost. Nathan is very unprofessional, my only driving lesson with him he was flirty and made me uncomfortable. I’m not sure if he is that way with other students, but it definitely caused me not to trust him and I should’ve discontinued services with them right away. I had various different driving instructors and 1 of them even got fired while I was completing my package. I would’ve liked to have more lessons with Elvis, the older instructor. The lessons were informal and could’ve prepared me more for the test. For example, NONE of the lessons did they have me turn on the car (the engine/car was already on). I failed my first road test, which was fine. However, I had to follow up ALOT to reschedule for a 2nd test. Given that they are busy I understand and am very accommodating, but Not once throughout all those phone calls from May 17 to August 23 did Nathan or his wife tell me I had to pay $100 for my 2nd test for the car/road test, which is not a standard price if you fail the first time. Even when I came in for my 2nd road test, I waited 45 minutes because I came early for my appointment and he even waited until we were already leaving to Yonkers DMV to have his wife charge me the “$100” fee. This should’ve been included in my package, but not only that I could’ve been informed ahead of time. Having to pay this right before we drove to Yonkers DMV flustered me very much. They should be more clear with expectations and better at following up with people.

Negative experience: I took my 5hr class with this place. They were VERY unprofessional. Very poor communication. The receptionist (man) has a very nonchalant attitude and doesn’t care about anything going on in this establishment. They never answer the phone when you call. The 5hr class was through WhatsApp and prior to even paying for the service they never asked to see your permit. Super weird. I picked this location due to the reviews and how close it is to my home but I would NOT be returning to this place for driving lessons. Very poor quality, poor value, super unprofessional and the communication is terrible. If I could rate this zero stars I would.

Fantastic experience: It was my very first time even being behind the wheel. Nervous is an understatement ! My anxiety was through the roof ! I got the 10 class package deal and only had 1 lesson so far but my instructor Nate was excellent. He is patient, kind and really made me feel like I GOT THIS, even when I didn't think so. My next class was scheduled a bit far because I have a very busy schedule, but I thought I would dread my next class. Instead I am super eager and excited to continue !

Fantastic experience: The employees are very friendly and speak both Spanish and English. Their establishment also has hand sanitizer at the desk and the employees wear face masks. Their prices are reasonable and they have several different packages. My instructor Nathan is also very patient and knowledgeable of the rules of the road and of the process of driving. The driving school that I am going to is the one by fordham road and University Ave and I was a little nervous at first due to the traffic on fordham but Nathan always takes me to a less crowded area usually by Lehman College. So far I have done four classes and I’ve very happy with both Nathan and the Driving School.

Nathan and Orlando are the best driving instructors, super cool, chill and patient which is really important when you are learning how to drive. I always felt so comfortable behind the wheel with them and if you have the opportunity to take your classes with either one of them, do yourself a favor and do so. I passed my test today thanks to them!

Negative experience: I read wonderful reviews of this school, unfortunately I did not have a good experience. It was a journey to try to get in contact with them after I payed for my package. My calls wouldn’t be picked up and when they were then they wouldn’t be returned. At the end I was only able to take one class and lost all the money I payed for the package to take my driving exam. Extremely disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Frist class Driving school at Simpson street under the 2 and 5 trains is a excellent school. Junior is a great driving teacher he has a easy going personality and a up lifting person. The best part about the driving school is the prices $380 for 10 lessons, a class and they let you use their car for your road test. That is the best value I saw plus a excellent teacher name Junior.

Fantastic experience: I went to store location #2. first it was a little difficult to schedule the classes (in retrospect, I did begin classes at the beginning of summer which is their busiest time) but once I began my lessons, the instructors were extremely helpful and supportive. The pricing is stellar, and they accommodate very well to your schedule and personal needs. Big shout out to my instructor Junior. We arrived to my road test early, and with that time he walked me through a lot of errors that first-timers make on their road tests. With his guidance, I passed my road test on the first try. I will definitely recommend store location #2 to my friends and family. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I bought “Package C” which came with 10 lessons and I had Orlando Hernandez as my driving instructor (The BEST INSTRUCTOR in the school by far). He is very soft spoken, patient and informative. All you really have to do is pay attention because he teaches you everything you need to know to begin driving. I completed my 10 lessons and passed my road test on the first attempt. Do yourselves a favor and if you come to this school you have to get Orlando as your only instructor, that’s if you want to get your money’s worth. Fantastic experience: I took my 5hr class here and all my lessons and I must say I had an awesome experience. Joseph was my instructor and he was very patient and informative. He gave me a paper with specific instructions on how to park and do a broken uturn. That and his tips really helped me. Altho i failed my road test twice and can honestly say it wasn’t because of the way i was taught more because of my nerves. I was a nervous wreck the day of my road test. But the third time i left them nerves on the high way and passed. Joseph spoke to me all the way to the site and helped me calm down. One thing I will say but has nothing to do with the school is DO NOT TAKE YA EXAM IN YONKERS. THEM STREETS ARE WAY TOO DARN SMALL.LOL.

Fantastic experience: This post is late but relevant. I went to the Westchester location in Sept 2018 and paid for the 10 driving class package. I had no experience in driving. I paid around $380 but I received a percent off because I was a college student. After reading the reviews I knew I had to be taught by Junior. When I went he was very professional and all of the employees there are as well. They want to see you pass your license. After I took my five hour class They scheduled me for a October 2018 road test. With the ten package I took one driving class a week. By the second lesson I had already knew how to park from Junior techniques.He said to me you are going to pass this road test just follow my techniques. By the fourth lessoned I mastered both parking and 3 park turning. The other six lesson we continue with parking,3 park turning, all road test requirements and making your I kept the appropriate speed. By the end of the ten lessons I felt very confident. The day before my road test I paid for one more additional lesson just as a fresher. The day of the road test he drove me and another student and prepped us. He let us know exactly what to expect and the day plan out just as he said. So to end this story I passed my road test on the first try .Junior held good to his promise. If you want to pass go to this driving school and follow their techniques and make sure you get junior !!!!

What I love the most about this school is the way everyone makes the effort to teach you how to drive. Negative experience: Seriously I read all the reviews and thought this would be a good place to do my lessons. Ha was I wrong. Joseph is so aggressive and doesn’t explain anything. Anytime I’ve taken a lesson with him I’ve always felt like I was being rushed. He’s so unprofessional at one point in my lesson he had me make a stop so he can use the bathroom that ended up taking about 25 minutes. And Orlando doesn’t even speak complete English but I must say he was more informative and patient then Joseph. While doing my lessons with Orlando he kept making these weird popping noises with his mouth and kept messing with the AC and windows. Another time I came in for my lesson and the man at the desk told me I wasn’t scheduled even thou I had a card with his writing that said I was scheduled that day so I wasted my time even showing up there. The guy behind the desk also tried to cheap me of some classes if I didn’t write things down and count my classes I would have been cheated of three classes. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They must delete their bad reviews because I know I cannot be the only person who’s had a bad experience here. TAKE IT FROM ME DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

Fantastic experience: Junior was my instructor and let me just say his level of expertise exceeded my expectations. He was very patient with me and very informative, needless to say, I passed my road test on my first try. If anyone's looking for a good driving school this is the place to go. I should also add that their prices are very reasonable but don't let that discourage or otherwise believe that saying "you get what you pay for." Their prices are decent but they are very professional and know their job. I promise you wont be disappointed I referred a friend who also passed on her first try.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to First Class by a friend. When i i fir went there they explained everything from the 5 Hour class to the actual Road Test. My first class was with this gentleman named Orlando who also took me to the test. He was patient but also very knowledgeable about the various things you should practice. Then for my second and third class i had Joseph. Let me tell you that Joseph is literally the most down to earth guy I've ever met. He can be rough around the edges but don't let that scare you. He is also beyond knowledgeable and only wants you to do well. I like this dynamic because not all DMV inspectors are going to be nice or serious. This was a excellent experience. I thank you all including the young man at the front desk ( i never got his name). For anyone taking the classes just listen to these gentleman and you'll pass with flying colors. Fantastic experience: I bought the 5 class package. I was only behind the wheel twice before. Orlando taught me the basics. My last two sessions were with joseph. He helped me become more confident. Ultimately, i passed my test today only losing 5 points due to nervousness at the beginning of the test. If you dont speak spanish i would recommend going with joseph. Otherwise, both orlando and joseph were great instructors. The office picked up my calls and set up appointments very efficiently. Every worker was very friendly as well.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are AMAZING! I bought the 5 classes package earlier this summer 18’. My first class was with Kevin who had me on the road day 1 going through stop signs. After that Joseph taught me how to parallel park in second class, Orlando on the third class doing a bit of everything. I ended up buying 3 extra classes just to be safe. After 7 classes I passed my driving test with only 10 points (90) because I was lacking confidence (under speed limit) The office staff is great as well, they will always try their best to accommodate your schedule. I will be coming back to buy 2 or 3 highway classes before I get me a hooptie lol. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone that needs some lessons.

Fantastic experience: I passed by road test last week Friday and it was all thanks to the instructors at First Class. Joseph and Orlando are the two instructors I took and they both gave me good advice for driving and for the road test itself. There are many packages to choose from that include the 5 hour class, lessons, road test appointment and the car for the road test. Single lessons are $35 for 45 minutes which is amazing compared to other driving schools which are way too expensive. All I have to say is thank you First Class! :)
