Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had a Road test with Mr. John Sharrock and that was the best experience ever! Thanks to Mr. Sharrock's positive attitude I didn't feel very anxious which helped me to pass the test. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Mr. R’s if you will take your road test. I just had it on December 02, 2024 and it was amazing. From the moment you do your paper works and until you do the road test, the process was smooth and quick. I heard about this driving school from my family and friends and indeed, they were not wrong about it. I appreciate Mr. Wolf and thank you so much, Mr. R!

My examiner, John, was incredible. My son was put at ease early into the drive as you could tell the instructor had done this many times & also that he loves what he does. He put my daughter at ease, but also put her in situations that were not easy, to see how she handled them. Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied with how the road test was conducted—everything was done professionally. The place was very good. Initially, I was nervous about the examiner, as examiners are usually intimidating! But I was wrong. The lady who examined me was helpful and kind, making me feel comfortable throughout the test. I usually feel stressed during exams, but this time, I was completely at ease. At the end of the test, she kindly explained my mistakes and how dangerous they could be if repeated, which I really appreciated. This is very important to tell the examinee her/his weakness points to avoid repeating them in the future because it is related to the driver and people safety. I've taken road tests in other countries, but this one was the most technical and professional. I want to thank her for such an excellent method and positive attitude, which is so important for trainees like me. Everything was done on time and in the best possible way. I also thank you for your efforts and I will definitely recommend your school to my friends because of your excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Truly a 5 star experience. My daughter was scheduled at 8AM on a Saturday for her road test . The driving school was open, ready ahead of time. Instructors made us feel welcomed, helped us relax and made the entire testing experience enjoyable. I highly recommend it. Also, easy to schedule testing online

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the school. I have never gotten to take a driving class and got taught by my family to drive. I called the office, and it was incredibly easy to book the driving test, considering that I needed a rental car for the test. I came in a bit earlier for my test, and the school gave me 15-20 minutes to practice on the rental to get used to the car and practice some driving. I was very nervous for the test, but some practice on the rental helped with getting used to the car. The rental car was also nice and fairly new and was easy to drive. I ended up passing the test and having a great and easy experience.

Fantastic experience: John was amazing and made me and my daughter feel comfortable and took the anxiety out of the test for my daughter. Through out the whole time I could tell he really enjoys what he does and I will be sending my son there soon thanks to the great service we received!!

Fantastic experience: I took my driving test. The examiner really followed the rules, my brother had a bad experience at another school, so I chose this one. At the beginning, he explained why he could deduct points. I was sick, but I passed the exam the first time, all the mistakes made were explained to me at the end. In general, I recommend it because they follow the rules here. The only downside was the test area, it was not of very good quality and was crooked.

Fantastic experience: I had an exemplary experience for my adult driver evaluation. Due to a traumatic injury, it had been one year since I last drove. Receptionist Kim and Owner/Instructor Jason were exceptionally welcoming and helpful with me. I arrived early and observed identical handling of several other clients, most of whom were there for road tests. The driving portion of my visit was essentially a road test with real-time coaching, and was also exceptional. Five stars!

Fantastic experience: It was amazing!! Jim Wolf was my instructor, he made me feel calm and collected. I was a bit nervous going into it and during the parking, but as soon as he got into my car for the road portion everything was just fine. Jim is very accommodating and kind. I would definitely take my test here again! As for the routes and parking: the routes weren’t crazy at all. If you have your 50 hours then you’ll be fine. The parking, as it always seems to be, was the worst part- and it wasn’t that bad! I did mine on a Wednesday at 9am- so I got out of school, that was a huge bonus- but I would advise you do mid day if you can. It wasn’t busy at all. I have nothing bad to say! Jim even took a picture of my mom and I after I passed. He’s such a great person and I have nothing negative about him.

Positive experience: For the most part the tester was good. My child has some anxiety issues and got upset at the parking portion. Once calmed down we proceeded. Towards the end, the tester said said, “we are almost done, don’t freak out on me again now”. Not at all respectful of her feelings and issues. It wasn’t said in a rude way but wasn’t considerate of someone with anxiety issues

Fantastic experience: I brought my twins here for segments 1 and 2 as well as their road tests. They both said how much they enjoyed the experience despite their nervousness. Scheduling was really easy, the desk staff was always friendly and even though they had never even met the instructor that took them for their road tests, he quickly put them at ease and made it a pleasant experience. I have recommended this place to other parents and will continue to do so. Thanks to everyone involved!

Fantastic experience: I am a Chinese guy, I have driving experience in China. I planned to have my road test in another driving school, but the SNS website said that there is no Chinese people can pass the test for one time at the driving school. So I choose Mr. R's, Jim and the lady in the front desk are friendly, I felt very nervious, but I passed the text finally at one time. I really recommend this driving school to everyone.

We received a series of emails that helped us prepare for the test. The videos were also very helpful. We got reminder texts as we approached the test date. I highly recommend this company!

Negative experience: We have nicely asked this school to take an alternative route for drivers ed as our street is constantly beat with cut through traffic. They clearly just do not care and continue to use our street daily for their students. We do not have side walks and live by the school. It’s a hazard risk to take a street with no side walks and disrespectful that the school won’t honor our wishes.

Fantastic experience: My Husband had a great experience with Mr. R’s Driving School during his road test. English is not his first language and the driving instructor was very patient, thorough with his instructions and made sure he understood what was asked of him. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I had my driving license from another country but I needed to have driving license from Michigan for longer stay. I took the test from secretary office and had my temporary driving license, I appointed my road test with them online quite easily. Their instruction videos both for car and test were really clear. I went there, instructor was also clear and straightforward. I had a pleasant experience with them and passed the exam without any problem. I recommend it.

Negative experience: The lady I had was so rude. She kept cutting me off while speaking. Didn't even tell me her name. Had an attuide the moment I walked in. And was loudly talking to a co-worker right next to me as I tried to watch the instruction video. I don't appreciate old ladies snapping their heads at me when speaking or a dirty car I paid an extra $100 for, I couldn't even see out of the back window OR the backup camera. DO NOT GO HERE.

Fantastic experience: Truly wonderful people. The ladies in the officer were very sweet and gentle natured. They offered to let me go out back and practice parking again before my test. John was incredible. Before the test I was so nervous I was shaking but his demeanor and personality immediately calmed me down. Very easy going and non judgemental.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! I took my road test over the period of two days because I didn’t pass the first time! The first day I had John, and the second day I had Torey!! They were both awesome, and helped to calm down my nerves. When I didn’t pass the first time John still gave me a high five and told me I did a good job which was great. This helped lessen my anxiety for my test the next day in which I did pass. In all everyone was very kind and I highly recommend taking your drivers test here!!

Fantastic experience: Mr. R’s was absolutely the best! I took my daughter to another driving school previously. They were horrible at preparing her for her drivers test! I called Mr. R’s and to schedule was easy! Then they sent her an email with how to prepare for the drivers test and even sent an educational video for her to watch! She took the forest with confidence and it was a breeze and she nailed it! They were friendly from the first call to the testing and even helped us after the test to get her license! Everyone made us feel comfortable and they make her feel confident! I highly recommend Mr. R’s to anyone! You won’t be disappointed!

Staff were quick to respond to any questions! John was wonderful as a road test instructor and immediately helped my son relax and be able to successfully use the skills he's gained over the past year during the test. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place for your teen to take Segment 1&2 and road tests!

Fantastic experience: I took my drivers test here and I was soo nervous. The instructor, John, was extremely kind and helpful. I had a vague idea of what to expect for the drivers test coming in. Each section he gave very clear instructions and made sure there wasn’t any confusion. Every time I did something well he said “good job, I’m proud of you”. I could’ve cried 10/10. He gave me some tips on what to do better and encouraged me to elaborate on what I thought I could work on. Lots of good dad jokes lol I’m really happy people who are learning to drive who are younger than me have a chance to take lessons from such a wonderful person. He even took my picture when I passed!

Came here after having my temporary instruction permit 4 different times and just having so much driving anxiety… once I started talking to John, he was so relaxed and cracked some jokes that just put me at ease while I was a little nervous. I passed my driving test at age 24 & I couldn’t thank this place enough!!!! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had SUCH AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I did a lesson and a test over 2 days and both times I was made to feel calm and confident. John gave me my lesson and he was so encouraging and provided me with helpful info to help me succeed on the driver's test. He consistently checked in to see if I had Andy question and was kindly, yet, realistic and honest about what I could improve in. My test administrator (I fogot her name I'm sorry) was professional but not intimidating/threatening which I am so grateful for. She also had a nice conversation with me while I was driving so I didn't have to just sit in silence! She was really cool! I was nervous going into the test but her calm demeanor really made me feel like she was rooting for my success. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!
