Negative experience: They would have gotten 5 stars, especially for my instructor, but the company itself ruined that. I scheduled my road test for 1pm, three weeks in advance with this company. I reached out via phone and email prior to paying over half a thousand dollars for the package, to confirm that the classes and road test would be scheduled at MY convenience. They confirmed. About 5pm the day before the test, they call and tell me, basically in a congratulatory way, that an earlier spot at 7am has opened and I need to be at their office by 7am. I hadn’t asked for an earlier appointment, in fact that’s in the middle of my work shift. I asked to speak to a manager to provide more options and was told one would be calling me in 5 minutes. No one ever called. The result of this was showing up to my road test after working 10 hours with no sleep and no food. I was extremely lucky I had a nice road test officer who helped me pass, but if it weren’t for him, I would have been too out of it to pass today. Still haven’t even heard from management.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are patient and know their job. I took 5 classes with them and I was so confident on the day of the test. Hayimi taught me all the tricks needed to ace the test. AnnaMarie was amazing too. She drove me to the test and kept assuring me to remember the steps and it really helped boost my confidence. I would definitely recommend.

Hayimi was my instructor and he was amazing. Anna Marie drove me to my test and gave me last minute tips and reassured me it would all go well. And it did! Negative experience: I would give this place zero stars if I could. I booked a class for 5:30pm, the instructor never turned up, I called and they said he’s just a little delayed and will be there between 6-6:30pm. Then, at 6:30pm he didn’t turn up either. I called again and they said he’ll be there at 7pm. At that point I canceled because I felt I was being lied to. This is an awful business, unprofessional people. Wasted my entire evening.

Positive experience: I would’ve given them five stars, but here is my honest opinion and review. They are great to deal with and make the experience of driving really simple and easy. They definitely teach you the fundamentals and some simple but great tips to pass your test and by the way I passed. Pro: Well, rounded drivers that understand what it takes to pass the test. Cons: no one is ever at their location, which is just a storefront location with computer and a desk. I think they should always have someone available even if they don’t think it’s necessary to have someone there. The communication between the workers who take your schedule for your road test and also for your classes is very poor but they work with you to fix any problems when they do occur i’m leaving this as constructive criticism. They’re not a bad school at all. Overall, my experience was good with them and I would recommend them to anyone. They are definitely determined to help you pass the test.

Negative experience: Not going to do them too bad because the instructor (Anna) that was scheduled for the first (and only) session was actually terrific. Would love to have done more with her. However, the big hang up is the office seems to never answer the phone. Purchased a 4 class package and tried a whole week and a half to schedule the next class. Finally got fed up with calling and leaving voicemails and text messages and found the time to go to the actual office location that was listed online. Nobody was there either, LoL. I was fed up and just left a Post-it with my information for someone to call me back. Eventually got the refund that I requested and currently with another company. Like I said earlier, the instructor was great, but its 2024 and people's times are limited and precious. Communication is key and understandably so, you can't answer every individual phone call, but at least return the calls to the people that are actually paying you for services. Again...Anna IS GREAT!!!

Fantastic experience: RECOMMEND 100% ! I had lessons with Ankeeta & Hiyami who truly helped me with my practicing and getting more familiar with the road. BUT ANNAMARIA??? she is the absolute BEST hands down! My first time meeting her was 7/26 as she took me to my road test in Lodi. She helped me feel so confident! However I FAILED over the dumbest reason . As soon as she got in the car she said NO lets schedule you in two weeks! You are going with me to Delanco! Fast foward to today! She is so patient - she took her time to give us a lesson before the test & she knew actually what the test would be like! She made me feel sooooo confident & believed in me when I truly did not! Fantastic experience: A perfect and smooth experience. I passed my road test with them. Anne Marie was the instructor who accompanied me. She was very polite and encouraging. She picked me up well before my appointment time and reached the DMV office an hour early. She gave me a proper walkthrough about what to expect during my test. Gave me some lessons on how to improve my focus on few things just before the test with practical demos and observing me while I repeated them after her. Her small tips and tricks did the magic while giving the test. Her partner Jennifer, was another wonderful lady who helped me with the appointments and checked right after the test if I was successful. My woes were just like all other people reaching out to other driving schools, I paid them money but it was just like putting them into trash. The instructors lacked communication, did not help at all in any way. Simple pickup drop and done. Didn't bother if you passed or failed. SmartDriving gave a thorough professional attention. Delivering above and beyond the fees taken.

Negative experience: They keep messing up my husband’s appointments and their communication is always off. It’s entirely too expensive to keep having days mixed up with someone else and schedule them on days they would be working. I was originally going to go here after he passes but because of his overall experience alone I’ll be going elsewhere. If you are someone with a set work schedule I recommend you think twice.

Fantastic experience: I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!!! I had Hayimi for all three of my rides and Jessica to take me to my test ! Both of these people were absolutely tremendous !!! Hayimi taught me how to park literally in one class and the other three days just perfecting everything. I appreciate this school so much !! Negative experience: Please beware. Most of these reviews are fake. We paid for 3 classes and they only took 2 classes and refused to return money for the 3 class. They claim that they know everyone at the road test which was misleading. Our main instructor was Ana and she clearly lied to us about it.

Fantastic experience: Taking Smart Driving School was the best decision I could've ever made because I passed my test today. I had scheduled a drivers lesson with Haiyimi not ever being on the road before that. He was very fun, understanding, and patient with me. He made my first experience very comfortable and made me more confident in myself. He also taught me how to parallel park using techniques that helped me ace my parallel parking on the exam. Overall awesome instructor 10/10. Today I had my road test and Ana Marie drove us there. She was very kind, caring, and very patient with me. She taught me how to drive on the highway for the first time. I was so nervous but she made me feel more confident in myself along the way. She also taught me how to switch lanes properly on the highway. Switching lanes was always something I was nervous about but she explained everything so clear. She also showed us a refresher trial of the exam before it happened. She showed us 1 on 1 training on how to do a K- turn (3 point turn) and parallel park. She told us the do's and don'ts of the road we were going to be driving on. Overall I PASSED!!! I'M SO RELIEVED! I definitely recommend booking with Smart Driving School. I promise you won't regret it!

I didn’t have him during my road test, it was with Ana but she was great, too. She made sure I understood every step and was very patient. Because of her and Hayimi, I passed my test!!! I definitely recommend this school for when you want to learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: Let me start off saying hayimi ( pronounced as hajimi ) is a great instructor Very supportive very informative and overall a great teacher I was able to go from never driving a car and being afraid of the speeds to cruising safely on highways in just 3 to 4 sessions ! He was very open and welcoming and never judged me or any of the other students on how they drove Just gave positive feedback and made sure the students learnt something 10/10 Definitely recommending for my referrals to ask for hayimi if possible!
