Fantastic experience: Learning to drive with Yulma was an incredible experience. From the first lesson, she made me feel at ease with her calm and encouraging attitude. I was nervous about driving, but Yulma was patient and understanding, guiding me step by step and helping me build my confidence. She explained everything clearly, from basic maneuvers to more advanced techniques, and she always had helpful tips to improve my skills. Negative experience: I don’t understand of having a business for them to give a run around I called to try to book a rental for a road test when I said I only needed it for one day the girl on the phone sounded pretty unsure of giving me there business cause I just needed it for the road test nothing more right after she had me on hold for a few with no reason why so I waited she gets back on the phone try’s to put me on hold just to say can I give you a call back which they didn’t if you feel like $95 is to low for a rental for a day then you guys shouldn’t offer that service at all or price it’s a waste of time to sit here having someone in the air not sure what’s going on if you guys feel like that’s a waste of time to do as a service than don’t offer it I rather have a straight up answer, cause if not I can take my business else not big deal but to waste someone’s time I don’t get it just say yes we can do or no we don’t offer that it can be so simple.

Fantastic experience: I had my road test today and I passed it. I want to thank my driving instructor Yulma, she is a very nice lady and she taught me parallel parking in an easy way. Because of this, I was able to do the parallel parking from the first attempt. Also, thank you to the guy who brought me to the test, he's a nice guy but i did not catch his name. If I know anyone that wants to learn to drive I will mention this school. Thank you for everybody in Pepe's school and special thanks for Yulma!

Fantastic experience: The driver instructor Alexis gave classes to me and my brother, and we both passed the drivers test first try. Highly recommend him, he was very patient and really made sure I knew and got the hang of driving. I didn’t know how to drive first day and with his classes it feels like I’ve been driving for years.

Very patient very clear with instructions and he gives u easy tips with the turning and parallel parking. I really recommend him if you’re a first time driver like me and he’s chill. And the school well they need to be more professional on the line the girls that picks the phone needs to be more professional other than that great experience would recommend !!!

I needed a few refresher courses and practical advice on how to pass the road test in Rahway. I had Alexis as a driving instructor and I liked the professionalism of their company and employees. I also signed up for Pepe’s to drive me to the road test. Mark picked me up on time and calmed us all down before the exam, giving practical advice. I passed! Thank you so much Pepe’s!!!

Positive experience: I give Pepe's Driving School overall 4 stars but my driving instructor Cruz 5 stars across the board!!! Not only is Cruz extremely down to earth, he is patient, caring and very knowledgeable. He makes sure you follow the rules of the road and he teaches you simple driving techniques that will help you pass your road test. He encourages you when you do well and swiftly course corrects any errors you make. Thanks to him, I became fully comfortable behind the wheel and ended up passing my road test on my first try after 2 failed attempts in another state. He's always booked and busy, so make sure you schedule your lessons with him about a week in advance. One of the best instructors over at Pepe's Driving School hands down. Thanks again Cruz! *******UPDATE******* I contacted Pepe's Driving School on Thursday November 14th to book 1 last driving lesson w/ Cruz as a refresher before I scheduled some highway lessons. I explained to the receptionist by the name of "Brisa" that I was actually owed a free lesson because of the day I had my scheduled road test, I was incorrectly booked for a lesson that same day. She put me on a brief hold and came back and told me she had a slot open for November 18th at 11am. Knowing firsthand how busy Cruz' schedule typically is, I was very happy and surprised and made sure to confirm before I hung up that the lesson was for Monday November 18th at 11am with Cruz. She confirmed yes and was very swift ending the call. Fast forward to Monday morning, I'm standing outside waiting for Cruz to arrive when I receive a call from someone else who's voice I didnt recognize, informing me that they were running a few minutes late. I immediately called Pepe's Driving School and calmly explained to the receptionist what happened from the beginning. I explained that I called Thursday to schedule today's lesson w/ Cruz but the person who i spoke to on the phone must have made a mistake. She then tells me that SHE was the one I spoke to on Thursday who booked the lesson and how no mistake has been made. This delusional woman had the audacity to not only NOT take any accountability for making a mistake but instead blamed me and told me that I never specified who I wanted the lesson with! She actually argued with me back and forth, talked over me, and after repeatedly blaming me tells me "Well, just give him a try and see how it goes". Honestly, Brisa is a rude, snobby, highly unprofessional, incompetent horrible first impression & representation of your business. I've read previous reviews and I see that seems to be a popular opinion amongst many of your past clients complaining about a rude receptionist. Thank God for Marcos, the person who gave me the lesson that day. When he arrived, i was visibly upset almost in tears because of the phonecall with Brisa that ruined my mood and ended up in a shouting match. Marcos helped calm my nerves and provided EXCELLENT service as my instructor that day. He is a professional, personable and very cool guy. Thanks again to the instructors, but thanks to Brisa I will not be booking any more lessons with Pepe's Driving School. My advice to new clients looking to book lessons, ASK WHO YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH WHEN YOU CALL and if it's Brisa hang up and call back later when the other lady answers.

Negative experience: if I had the chance rate this driving school 0 stars, I would, Worst experience ever. My mom payed for her 6 hours with the instructors and received such a TERRIBLE treatment. The lady would not only be impatient but also say mean stuff to her when it was obviously her first time driving. They’re un considering and rude, definitely care about more about money than for their customers to learn. I certainly do not recommend this driving school for adult/young drivers who are new to the road.

Negative experience: My driving teacher was completely unprofessional and condescending. I paid for a 2 hour driving lesson that was NOT 2 hours as he made me drive to the school 3 times as he was inside for more than 15 minutes getting “water”. He constantly belittled me and raised his voice at me, causing me tremendous anxiety. Then he messaged my parents trying to say it was my fault as “I didn’t pay attention”. This man was constantly on his phone, calling his friends, and not caring to help me. He said I was not ready for my driving test, yet the school refused to give me my $85 for the test that I will not be taking.

Fantastic experience: Easiest and best school you can learn from, by my second class the instructor(Yulma) didn’t have to tell me a thing she told me how fast I caught on and was extremely supportive and helpful, I took my road test in Edison which I recommend for everyone and I passed the test in under 10 minutes! Yulma also suggested to go to Edison for my test and man I’m glad she told me. Good luck for everyone’s road test!!

(i’ve sat in the back after my lessons while permit learners drove for the FIRST time with no knowledge of cars or the road and he was so calm in helping them learn how to drive. you can definitely trust him with your permit learners— he makes it look easy!) and thanks to the man (sorry i didn’t catch his name) that dropped me and the group i was with off at the dmv today. he gave me a walk through of what to expect during the road test and that helped a lot also. & shout out to Pepe’s Driving School. definitely would recommend them (& Alexis) to any first time learners as well as those that need to brush up on their driving or parking skills.

Fantastic experience: I was super scared of driving and I’m so glad I had Cruz as my instructor for 2 classes. He was very professional and patient with me. He made me feel so comfortable as soon as I started driving. He’s a nice looking man with a really amazing personality. He also made sure to go through everything with me. I took 7 classes with an instructor who didn’t care to teach at a different company. I came to Pepe’s and Cruz taught me how to drive park and k turn in one class. Negative experience: Was going to take driving classes from this school based of recommendation and I ended up calling them so I can ask a couple of questions. The lady who answered the phoned picked up the phone answered two of my questions then asked to put me on a brief hold, she then had me on hold for about seven minutes and then hung up. I called back because I had more questions and was immediately put on hold without anyone even saying anything, I was on hold for for over 10 minutes and was hung up on again. I was hoping to go this school based of the recommendation and great reviews but after the terrible customer service I'll just find another school.

Cruz was my favorite instructor, he explains everything really well and encourages you during practices, while still making sure to correct anything respectfully. Fantastic experience: I loved this driving school. It was the perfect choice, no doubt! I took lessons with YULMA, ALEXIS and CRUZ. All of my instructors were extremely nice and patient which made it SUPER easy to get more comfortable on the road which I am very thankful for. Fantastic experience: I would like to thank this school because the instructor Alexis was really nice and patient and made sure I learn everything I need it for the test. Also the instructor Mark who took me to the test was really nice and helpful giving advices. Thanks to them I could pass the road test

Negative experience: The instructors are good, very knowledgeable and efficient. Only downside is the receptionist, horrible at her job. Asked about a rescheduled appointment due to the snow and called to inquire it and she scheduled with me another one on a different day, and then day of the first scheduled driver comes and i am not aware of it and told i cannot do the appointment on the scheduled day we both spoke of and if i don’t do this one i lose my money. Horrible service and bad at her job.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with PEPE’s driving. It was extremely affordable for me, and everyone was extremely patient with coming up times and days for lessons. My instructor, instructor Cruz, was extremely patient and reassuring, even when I made a mistake. I took my road test this week, and I passed on my first try! Thank you so much to the employees for assisting me in this achieving this goal. It’s greatly appreciated! ✨

Fantastic experience: This driving school is very affordable . My two Instructors Yulma and Alexis were both very patient and brought a comfortable space for me to learn how to drive. I want to extend my gratitude and gratefulness to them. Thanks to the both of them i had passed my driving exam. Before starting here i had zero experience behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: This was the best driving school ever, great service and best instructor Cruz. He was the one who taught me how to drive and all of the requirements for the road test. He is very chill and friendly when he’s teaching I very much recommend him to all students who need help with learning about the road test and showing you the best methods in order to pass it. So when you go to this school ask for Cruz and tell him I sent yall there lol .
