Negative experience: Never received my osha 30 card, i tried to get a replacement or something and was told after 5 years they can not issue a replacement, osha cards have no expiration date and was dismissed twice talking to customer service. Asked how to leave a review and was dismissed again!. No longer recommending or referring anyone to use this site

Positive experience: Matt was somewhat helpful, but was just rushing through. I attempted several times to initiate a chat, but the person on the chat would take forever to respond, I would get distracted for 30 seconds and then it would say that the chat was disconnected. I spoke to Matt through the chat, and he was alright. He never greeted me. Sent me a link. When I asked him to elaborate he gave me a half assed response which didn't really answer my question. It would be smart when people are inquiring about the services, if they ask about physical driving schools to just say that you don't have physical driving schools. Instead of sending them links to the information for online schools and not actually being a human. Not very helpful, but not rude either.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I've been trying to get my money back from this company for a month now. They along with Certus Fusion Training have been giving me the run around. I purchased an online OSHA course from Certus Fusion Training, once my money was accepted by Certus Fusion Training, I was immediately redirected to a log in page without receiving a receipt. I tried logging in to the account that I'd set up but was denied access. I tried contacting the company and spoke to several individuals who repeatedly asked the same questions literally over and over after I responded to their questions after about two weeks of emails , American Safety Council responded saying they did not have an account for me but some how had a receipt for me purchasing a Texas online drivers ed course in March of this year ( I've never been to Texas and I've never been charged for a driver's Ed course ). After another week, Certus Fusion Training says they found my account, I immediately requested a refund. Now they saying the money was sent back but I don't have it and my financial institution doesn't seem to know what's going on.....DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Fantastic experience: I recently enrolled in and completed a driving course and mistakenly deleted correspondence information before i obtain my certificate. I called the 800 number and spoke with Reena. She kind, very professional and walked me (Held my hand digitally) through each step and sent me links to obtain needed information. I'm a 25 year Retired Military vet and it meant a lot to me, for her to take the time to help me. She was exceptional.

Negative experience: The certus platform used by American Safety council made it Impossible for me to log in after I started the course. Any further log in attempts the following days kept taking me to previous courses completed years ago and was not able to access the existing one in progress. Customer service is practically non existent. All communications are through email and they always have me the same scripted response that they “did something” and try again. But it never worked. I got tired of the useless back and forth and time wasting so I enrolled with a different vendor which was a seamless experience. American safety council took my money (plus the add ons I bought totaling and did not deliver the service they promised by having a faulty UI platform. I feel robbed. All they do is offer “sincere apologies for the frustration” but don’t do anything about it. I asked for a refund and was completely ignored. I Don’t recommend this vendor at all and judging by similar reviews I can tell I’m not the only one that shares this feeling. What a scam. Don’t use them

Negative experience: Did not send proof of completion to the dmv. Than wanted to charge for an unofficial copy. This is BS and a scam. Wasted time at the dmv to be turned away and said they had no record of completion

Negative experience: Our son was in the middle of an on line course that is a required driving course. ASC had a tech issue and said he had to retake the entire course again. He was half way through and several weeks worth of work down the drain. The on line chat people were unbelievable rude and unhelpful. In the middle of trying to get help they would end the chat. WE WERE NOT offered a refund at all but a partial refund, we paid $30 but were offered $14.95 back. I was told I would get a call within 2-4 business days to get help and no one called me. They also said they had no tech department to help with the issue.

Negative experience: This place is a scam, do not waste your time or money. They are not upfront about the identity verification process and if you "time out" because you are taking an online course in the real world, BEST CASE is you have to restart the course. WORST CASE is they will charge you AGAIN to restart the course. Absolute worst experience I've had with an online defensive driving course. I chatted and called and said per their policy, they cannot give a refund or reinstate you to the course where you had left off. I was 4hrs in when I got locked out, all for nothing!! Absolutely absurd! They should not be allowed to operate as a business like this.

Negative experience: Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with the parent taught driver education course. What should be 32 hours of online course material, is more like 80 hours because the modules make you wait for the timer to count down to 0:00. There are many modules with 2-5 slides that require the clock to count down anywhere from 2-5 hours!! DO NOT waste your money, or more importantly your time!!

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. I loged out of the test for a meeting and was not able to get back to my program. Tried calling and chatting with no success. Spent hours going through the program without being able to finish.....and ZERO support from the company. Do yourself a favor and find another resource..

Negative experience: I'm very upset with this company. It stated that my son's certificate would be sent to the DMV, however their system is down and it is not being reported currently. It has been down a few days is what they stated when I called. The DMV stated I could just get the certificate number and give it to them, but when I called on the phone the man on the whole said they couldn't provide a certificate number. I paid for the certificate online to get it immediately and the DMV couldn't accept it because there isn't a certificate number. ASC asked me to be patient, but when you have to get appointments at the DMV months out it is hard to be patient when they didn't do what the claim they would do, yet they took my money and put a big damper in my sons birthday weekend.

Negative experience: DISAPPOINTED, DON’T USE SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! YOUR MONEY WRONGFULLY SPENT! I am here on behalf of my brother. He paid for a service we completed the course and American Safety Council didn’t complete didn’t complete there part of sending there certificate completion Number. He missed two days of work. On Tuesday they said there system is down they said go back in 72 business hour we are back at DMV and now they said it was still down and wait another 72hrs I asked for a refund they said no because the course was completed but they can’t complete from there part. Disappointed.

Negative experience: WARNING: SCAM ALERT! I had an awful experience with American Safety Council, and I want to make sure no one else falls into this trap! After my daughter completed her course, the DMV had NO RECORD of it. I was forced to pay for a certificate, which turned out to be completely useless. I reached out to the American Safety Council last Friday and was told they were having issues with reporting to the DMV. It’s now Wednesday, and still no update with the DMV. When I contacted them again, I got the same runaround – they’re “investigating” but offered no real help and refused to refund me for the worthless certificate. It feels like they purposely delay reporting just to get more money from people like us! To make things worse, all their customer service is overseas and they have no clue how to help or even understand what a driver's license is. ❌ DO NOT USE AMERICAN SAFETY COUNCIL! ❌ There are so many other reputable companies out there – save yourself the headache and avoid this one at all costs!

Negative experience: ****BUYER BEWARE***** ****SCAM***** I wished I had done a review check before dealing with this company!!!! I used the American Safety Council for a copy of my driving record. This company is on the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) preferred list of record providers. I read the fine print and it does say that it doesn't provide the name of the person on the driving record. It only provides the license number. I figured that is how it is done for security purposes. I tried to use this document that I paid $29.99 for and it was not accepted as a legit driving record by the State of Maryland. I had to make a new appointment for a different day. This is a major inconvenience for people who work and have to take time off work to deal with stuff like this. Of course they wouldn't provide a refund back to Paypal. I am positive they are profiting from innocent people while providing useless services. I would classify this as a SCAM. The State of Florida should not use this company. I managed to go directly to the Clerk of Courts and got the same document with my name on it for $10.00. Buyers Beware

Negative experience: Horrible experience they ask you to authorize your voice, but the Number that they give you to call is disconnected, there's no one there. After 5pm when you do get through to them, they are unable to help you when you get through to them on the internet, which is only available till 10 in the customer chat. They disconnect from you without even helping you. They ask you over and over again. For all your information, you finally get through to them. And then they don't even help you very annoying and unprofessional. I highly recommend not using them

Negative experience: We did not have a great experience. I had to contact customer support because I couldn’t find answer to a question and I was told that i should have read the information before signing up for the class. I asked for a certain certificate I needed to show the BMV and 3 different people sent me the same certificate not the one I asked for. I am convinced that no one there knows the process for which my teenager needed to take to go get his permit or they all just like to be as little help as possible. I wouldn’t go through this company again!

Negative experience: Deserves less than one star. This defensive driving course is a scam, 100%. They constantly make you answer too many silly "security questions" all throughout the course, and if you happen to put the wrong answer for one, you are locked out and are forced to start over from the beginning, regardless of where you are in the course, plus pay for a completely new course! If you ask customer service to give you a refund or let you back into the course where you left off, they give you the same canned response of "we can't do that." Even when you ask to speak with a supervisor, that supervisor says the same thing. It is simply a cash grab. Avoid this company at all costs, other defensive driving course companies don't do this. I finally got a refund because I contacted the BBB.

Negative experience: Don't use the continuing education to renew your barber license. It takes more than 30 days for them to send the information to the licensing dept. to renew your licence. It was automatic for years prior but since "Fusion" is involved, you will be waiting a longgggg time! I'm going to make it my goal to see that they are removed from being accredited.

I just disputed the charge for this service with my bank so that I am credited for this disastrously experience. Negative experience: After finishing a 12 hour class online, the instructor put the wrong citation in the system and the dmv has told me to have American safety council change it to the correct citation number. Sounds pretty simple but I call the 1800 number and I am on hold for about one hour before I hang up. Call the Orlando number and also on hold for about one hour before I hang up. It is impossible to talk to real live agent. Also have tried email to get a response and nothing. Not sure what’s up with this company making it impossible to reach anyone over the telephone. Extremely frustrating.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this online course to anyone. It started out smoothly, my daughter completed online driving course and earned her permit. Then she completed the second half and final exam. They will not send me a correct license certification. I only received 1 & it did not have a DEE code number, now I only receive learners license only. I have called more than 10 times, emailed more than 10 times & live chat. Still only received learners license only. We have cancelled 2 road test b/c they will not just send the right certification. My daughter and I are now looking at another online course so she can retake everything so we can get a license certification for DL. I am beyond frustrated.

Fantastic experience: I purchased the Defensive Driving Points Reduction Course and unfortunately was blocked because I failed to log out of the course. I received a message asking me to re-register and repurchase the course. I contacted the company via chat, and Renel was able to reissue the course. Fabulous customer service. Something much larger corporations can learn from.

Negative experience: I called multiple times and sent a message via chat agent, and still I can’t get a hold of anyone in customer service. I completed the defensive driving online course, and still have not received the emailed completed certification I paid for. Where is it? I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Negative experience: Signed my daughter up to take the classroom portion of Driver's ed and I cannot get into contact with ANYONE at this company. I have tried live chat, email, and phone, to no avail. Feels like a ripoff.
