Go And Drive provides all of the skills and resources that you need to become a legal, responsible motorist. As part of our mission, we focus on teaching in accessible ways and making driver education more convenient for those in the Phoenix area.

Fantastic experience: Señor Doug was great. Even with a little bit of language barrier he was still able to communicate effectively and teach my stubborn ex wife how to drive. He made her feel at ease and comfortable with the lessons, unlike when I was trying to teach her and I would freak out as she was about to run up onto the center divider after doing a u-turn. All in all, if you have someone who is in need of professional driving lessons, I highly recommend Go and Drive and especially Doug!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Go & drive. I had Daniel and he is such an amazing Teacher. I can say I got my drivers license today feeling well educated about the road and different scenarios. When I was super nervous he talked me through and helped me to feel at ease which made driving the high Traffic roads, free way and construction obstacles so much easier & it helped me to know for future references what to do. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about the great experience and confidence This class provided our son. Doug Povinelli was a phenomenal instructor and my son felt very comfortable with him. It was a good break being away from me and my passenger side breaks. I think it’s important for kids to have a professional teach him how to drive properly, parallel parking, freeway driving and navigate this city and all the craziness that can occur. Fantastic experience: Just wanted to thank Sidney. My son was extremely nervous about driving and Sidney was amazing about pushing him out of his comfort zone (in a good way) and getting him to feel comfortable about moving from driving in neighborhoods onto driving on the main roads.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to let the world know how great this school is. If I could give this school 10 stars, I would. I recently bought the Ultimate package and went through the permit test all the way through to getting my license. The instructors are amazing! James made me feel very comfortable on our session together, and made me much more confident out on the road. Christina was truly a superstar. I had two sessions with her, including the one with the license test. She absolutely was delightful, helpful and patient. She was reassuring and gave great guidance. Even when we were dealing with an unfortunate situation from another driver on the road, she kept calm and was very reassuring to me. I wish Christina could be my mentor in other things because she was so amazing! Honestly, I never imagined in my life I would be capable of being comfortable on the road, but the team here made all the difference. I could not be happier! Thank you all so much for everything!!!

Fantastic experience: Scott Waters- Very engaging fun exercises, clear instruction, and very patient. He helps you practice for the driving test while quizzing you on road rules while driving. He also is very thorough about explaining all the purposes on the levers and the indicators on the dashboard. I had alot of fun! Especially with the backwards figure 8s.

Fantastic experience: Misty did an awesome job teaching our son to drive. After his first lesson with her we asked for her specifically the next time. My son hates how I was teaching him but he was very comfortable with her and learned much more as a result. I whole heartedly recommend going to her if your child is not a confident driver. Very happy with our decision to go this route.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Tony as my instructor, he was endlessly patient and calm through all three lessons I had with him. He and I both saw huge improvement in my driving and my confidence. The school makes the process so easy, and they were so helpful and understanding when I needed to switch instructors after a hard lesson. Fantastic experience: I had a basic driving lesson with Mr. Scott Sparks and I found him to be an excellent instructor and a really helpful guy. As it was my first time driving in the state he told me a lot about driving etiquettes here and even some tips on the road test.

Fantastic experience: This was my son's first professional driving lesson. The driving instructor Anthony was amazing!! He was calm and clear. My son was nervous at first. Fantastic experience: My sons instructor was Eric Froncek and I can't say enough good things about him. My son really enjoyed his time with him. After each lesson he came home and had something great to say about Eric and how knowledgeable and nice he was. From the parent perspective, Eric kept me informed on what my son was doing well and where he needed improvement and what Eric helped him on. Fantastic experience: My son had Sidney ‘Sid’ Hilton for his first two classes. He was Amazing! He was patient and communicated very well to my son and made him feel at ease almost immediately. Fantastic experience: I got Alec and Kyle as my instructors. Both of them are extremely professional and helpful at improving my driving skills, made me very comfortable at driving while also correcting my mistakes, in a nice way. Fantastic experience: I did my second lesson with Sid, and he was AMAZING! One of his main focuses is the student to have confidence while they are driving. Which was something I lacked, but not even half way through my lesson I was driving with so much confidence! We had amazing chats, and we listened to country music which is something I love! And in the middle of the lesson he lets the student take a small break, which I find amazing! I would DEFINITELY recommend him 100%!

Negative experience: Heading south on Hayden, this vehicle buzzes me within a foot while in the bike lane. ARS 28-435 requires a MINIMUM of 3 feet safe passing distance. No attempt to move left here! Teaching drivers to punishment pass cyclists is bad form.

Having a minimum distance of 3 feet when passing cyclists is in our opinion is still way to close and should be even much bigger. Fantastic experience: I keep forgetting to write a review for this and it's been about 8 or 9 months overdue. I've been meaning to, just keep forgetting : ( But the experience was nice ! My favorite instructors were Tony and Cesar, their personalities were great and they were so patient and the classes were instructive. I learned a lot, they definitely made me way more confident as a driver. Don't know if I would've gotten my drivers license without their help so thank you!

Fantastic experience: Since I started go and drive driving school the staff was very understanding of my needs thorough with the lessons and it was a good experience. I also got to drive at some very nice places and they also gave me the option of where I wanted to drive which is very cool they took notes and told me what I needed to work on overall it was a very good experience

Positive experience: Ask for Doug - he did a great job and spent time teaching my daughter some basics, in addition to taking her driving and for her final test. I recommend taking your kid driving in a big parking lot to get them used to the car and driving before handing them over to Go & Drive, because they don't do that.

Fantastic experience: During my four lessons with Eric, Ryan, and Sidney (who I had twice), I was shown extreme professionalism and kindness. Each driver provided an extremely comforting environment where all the pre-driving stress I had was lost, even in scenarios where I would've absolutely been terrified, like a long-distance drive (which I did with Sid) or driving on the freeway (which I did with Ryan and Sid). Every driver was also extremely helpful with every question asked and was very easy to learn under. It was a true pleasure. I would absolutely give this place six stars if I could. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: I had both of my teenagers do premium package last year. Everything was good until our last appointment. My daughter had an appointment with Bear. She made her so nervous and lost all confidence on her driving. She has had her license since May and refuses to drive still, 8 months later.

Fantastic experience: This is a phenomenal course for anyone wanting to learn the ins and outs of driving with instructors who are well-versed, patient, and informative. I had two instructors, Zeph and Nate, 3/4 lessons were with Nate. I can vouch for both as they provided not only a patient and attentive approach to their instructions, but also personable and friendly attitudes that helped create a very comfortable and safe environment. This course is perfect for those who are nervous to get on the road, or who may deal with neurodivergency. Note to the bosses of Go and Drive, both Zeph and Nate are well deserving of potential raises/bonuses. I am saying this of my own volition, neither asked or mentioned anything concerning this subject. Their service was exemplary and well deserving of reward.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience with Go & Drive. Eric is a great instructor! My daughter felt very encouraged and at ease with his laid back approach. Fantastic experience: Go and drive was our second driving school our family is using. Our older child did her driving Ed through a different school and it wasn’t a good experience. Positive experience: I had 2 instructors Zeph and Robert Zeph was really nice, very social, genuinely made the time go by quickly. He gives a lot of tips that help you understand how to do things. Robert was also nice, it's just it was a tad bit awkward because most of the time it was driving in silence. However, I did learn a lot from him. Whenever I had questions he would explain and guide me through it. So the next time I had experienced something I would understand.

Fantastic experience: Go & Drive Driving School was excellent at giving our teen the final hours of instruction and observation that readied her for licensure. The company responded very quickly at a schedule change, we booked sessions easily, pricing was reasonable, and our child took the drivers test without stress. Cesar completed 3 of 4 sessions with our daughter, and she felt comfortable and educated. Her took her to the DMV after completing her test and made it a wonderful experience for us! As a teenager with no experience driving especially here in Phoenix I was so nervous, my instructor Doug Povinelli walked me through everything step by step. Fantastic experience: Christopher Allen was the instructor assigned to teach my son, that had zero experience mind you, all the techniques required to be successful a driver. When you first speak with Christopher, you notice immediately that he has a very strong and confident personality that makes people feel like their child is in good hands. You can see it on your child's face when they come back from a driving lesson, the confident smile and mentality of great progress. He explains to the parents what the child needs to work on, what they do well and what we as parents can do, to make their experience process a more fulfilling one All in all, I'm extremely happy with the work Christopher Allen and the Go & Driver Driving School have done for my child and I would recommend them to anyone that needs some driving lessons. Fantastic experience: I had a great time driving with Roberto. He made me feel welcome while driving and had some great jokes to go along with them. Since this was my third class I learned the hard way the error of the way I was driving. However, in a mere two hours Rob had fixed, or vastly improved, all those said issues I had. Being with the driving school for five years, I can see his wisdom, passion, and experience in full swing when he taught me, despite my barrage of questions . In other words, I feel that every student will have a great time with Rob and learn lots to add on.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Sidney “Sid”! He was really nice and patient! I was super nervous going into this 1st lesson but he made me feel at ease and helped build my confidence in driving. Overall, very chill guy and super friendly! Positive experience: My parents chose this driving school to teach me how to drive and to get my license, and in that they succeeded! All of my lessons (5) took place in a single month, so I had different instructors almost every time. Some instructors were less favorable than others, and gave me a slight sense of anxiety. My favorite instructor, Don, made me feel extremely comfortable behind the wheel and taught me many tricks to being a good driver. I would most definitely recommend him as an instructor if you chose this driving school for yourself or for your child!
Fantastic experience: I have/had major driving anxiety, didn't start trying to learn until 26 because of it and I cannot stress enough how much Don and Gary put me at ease behind the wheel. I had my first and last two lessons with Don, my second lesson with Gary and they are both fantastic instructors. Extremely experienced and knowledgeable, very communicative, and did a wonderful job keeping me calm and centered while navigating unforeseen road hazards! I started these classes physically shaking with anxiety just on side roads, and I'm very proud to say I went on the highway TWICE for my last lesson! Don and Kayla were on my team today and I couldn't have had two better co-pilots. I feel confident in my ability to operate a vehicle and in my awareness of the laws, all thanks to them! Leah helped set up all my appointments, she was very helpful and kind, and extremely reassuring with my worry-riddled questions! I would (and will!) recommend Go&Drive to anyone, of any age, -especially- if you have anxiety around driving, this experience has completely changed how I see the roads and I'm excited to say I am no longer afraid to drive! Fantastic experience: Jeff was a phenomenal teacher. My confidence and driving skill improved a ton over the 2 lessons I had with him and I passed my license test on the first try In particular, I was horrific at parking, but Jeff gave me rules and references to use that made parking so much easier. Fantastic experience: I just finished my last day today with Sidney! Passed my road test and got my license now. Had amazing experienced with Sidney! He was absolutely amazing, very patient, chill and friendly so driving is less stressful lol. On my first day with him he taught me how to park (reverse, parallel and perpendicular) and shuffle steering. 2nd day we drove to freeway, worked on my changing lanes, turns etc. 3rd day more freeway driving and turns and road test and passed! Fantastic experience: When I started on my first day, I was too scared to get into the car and take the wheel. My instructor, Scott, helped me a TREMENDOUS amount with getting over my fear of driving and learning to be a good driver. He was patient with my mistakes and really helpful. I enjoyed every lesson, and when I was not feeling confident about the road test, he comforted me and made me feel better about my worries. I hope you are doing well, Scott. I will never forget our lessons! My parents bought me a car as a gift and I’m going to be taking it to work soon! Fantastic experience: My instructor was Scott Waters. Today we worked on parking and he helped me be more aware overall, today I had a migraine, and kinda sucked, but Scott was there and made sure everything went as smoothly as he could make it considering how out of it I was. I'm going to practice a lot in between my next lesson so I can hopefully get better than it was today, but overall, I really enjoy Scott and can't wait for out next lesson.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: Just passed my road test (9/2/2023) Best Driving Experience! My instructor Kaitlyn was very patient and understanding. Made me feel very comfortable and confident driving during my test. I recommend this school for new drivers or anybody who wants to be better in driving. I'm glad I had good instructors to teach me all the way but Kaitlyin definitely made me felt prepared and achieved to pass that test. I made the right choice choosing this school. Fantastic experience: I had a really amazing experience during the company “Go & Drive Driving School” because I just loved my instructor. I had Misty for my drives and she made me feel really comfortable when I was driving. Nothing was awkward and I didn’t have to worry about freaking out because her presence just makes you feel better when you are driving. Fantastic experience: Scott Waters was a fun and a really good drive instructor. I was recommended him and he was a blast, I also recommend getting him as an instructor. 8/4 Today I learned how to parallel park and it was easier then what I was expecting! I had the same teacher and he was a blast to drive with. 8/7 I did reverse crazy eights with Scott (same teacher). It was interesting because it took me a second to think about which direction I need to turn the wheel. We also went to a place with strong vertical roads, that was a fun experience. 8/11 Got my license today with Scott Waters. It was a quick process.
