He has passion for us to be good drivers. I was at first worried that the teachers would care and were there to be paid but I was proven wrong. I would enjoy to have Randy as an instructor for my driving sessions. He is great!

Negative experience: So far feeling a bit defeated. My kid finished Joshua's law and it's like pulling teeth with west metro to schedule classes. The customer service has been rude lately and I get they are flustered because they say they are overwhelmed with plp having to call in daily to see if any instructors are available to schedule classes. The classes can't be scheduled on a consistent basis and every lesson is with a new instructor so their is not consistency. I picked this school for the great reviews and I'm hoping i didnt make the wrong choice. I hope to give a better rating at the end of this experience.

Fantastic experience: I took my mandatory drivers education clases on Saturdays for four Saturdays. I learned a lot that will help me in driving and even though the clases were long, the videos and gimkits kept me engaged. My instructor, Randy McCoy, was very informative and taught us well. This school also provides driving lessons and the actual driving test so it’s a good place to get it all done.

Fantastic experience: My experience with West Metro Driving School was great! I chose to do virtual classes instead of the in-person classes, and I think that it was the best decision for me. My instructor, Randy McCoy did a great job explaining everything throughout the 18 chapters and made it easy for me to successfully take the quizzes and the final exams.

She is VERY open to questions but is great at answering them before we even have to ask and she doesn’t just teach exclusively from the slides which I appreciated!!! She taught me along with other online students, but also managed an in-person class at the same time. I found that she went very in depth with her lessons, eager to answer questions and described more than was on the screen. My mom even observed her teaching and was very impressed with what she saw!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend West Metro Driving School in Dallas. My son passed his driver’s test and we are very happy! All of the instructors were excellent. This was worth it!!

Negative experience: Well....the teachers were pretty good but the Examiner left me very bitter. Would be nice to remember that these are kids driving for the first time. Telling them so many negative things is not the way to ensure they are ready for the road. If you are going to point out everything they did not like about their driving , Also mention everything they did right. I had my other kids take driving examines at the DMV and have more respect and compassion for the driver. I would suggest a training facility that will teach the tester motivation skills and proper language for todays youth. She did pass with a 84 !!! with all this drama but she feel not ready after hearing all this. Who would ?

Negative experience: I paid a large amount ($570) for a package that included a Joshua’s law course, 6 hours behind the wheel training , and driving test. My daughter has been practicing driving with me all summer, completed the Joshua’s Law class and passed her road test at the DDS. West Metro Driving School in Dallas is refusing to release her Joshua’s Law certificate until she completes her remaining 4 hours of behind the wheel time. They have no available appointments until 2 weeks out. This is absurd considering we could have paid less , taken the Joshua’s Law course, and received her certification that way. Joshua’s Law has nothing to do with schools behind the wheel time. We explained that we do not want a refund- only the certificate for the class that she did complete. They are being very difficult. I have heard great testimonies about Wiser and Kennesaw Driving School. They are truly there to help their students and families. Unfortunately, my recent experience with West Metro Driving School has been very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I am pleasantly surprised how effective the virtual course is. I learned multiple aspects of Georgia driving laws and regulations I did not know before and will apply them into my daily driving habits.

Fantastic experience: Super clean building all around very nice. Stacy Evans was great, lots of breaks in between units and tests, all around much better than youd expect for a course your being forced to take.

Negative experience: The behind the wheel lessons itself were wonderful and very helpful! I was very pleased with all 3 of my instructors however i would suggest to anyone who’s interested in taking the drivers test here to just go to the DMV. I had instructor Stacy Evans and she was very rude to me. I will admit I know I made mistakes and I always owned up to them. But Stacy really made me feel uncomfortable and anxious. When I was doing a lane switching she instructed me to move over to the left lane to make a u-turn after the light. So I turn on my blinker and was checking my blind spot. It was a very busy day (Saturday) so a lot of cars kept going pass me and weren’t letting me in. Stacy then yelled at me and told me I had to go now or we would miss the u-turn spot. So i barely made it and was super nervous for my safety. We then were going up a hill and she told me that there would be a left hand turn lane to take us back. I couldn’t see any lanes because we were on a hill and when I asked her how soon the lane was coming she completely ignored me. She then right as I was driving passed it told me it was right there, but I didn’t have enough time to slow down and get over safely so I just kept on going to the light and she was so rude about it. Then when we got back she had told me I passed but i shouldn’t be driving and was very condescending to me. Gaslighting me to believe I never checked my blind spots when I know I did. With all that said. Don’t waste your money on the test here. Just go to the DMV.

Fantastic experience: Randy McCoy is a very calm and nice teacher. I also really liked how we did Gimkit games before the tests. If he hadn't done that, I don't think I would've passed the ADAP test or final.
