It was on the CA DMV approved list so that was another factor that swayed my decision. The course was easy to understand and if you've been a driver for as long as I have it is common sense and the tests were easy. Got my certificate as soon as I passed the final exam (20 questions). I would highly recommend the course!

You can always go back where you left off if you don't have time to finish all at once. The exam is open book, you have access to all the chapters for review. I was unsure at first but had a great experience overall. Would recommend if you got a minor traffic citation and want to avoid the hassle of court processes and a point on your driver's license.

Just be aware there is a timer for each section and you cannot move ahead until you read the whole section and allow the timer to run it's course. I read faster than the timer.... but still... most programs have the same thing and costs more. I did not spend the extra money on a read aloud option. Other than that best bang for your buck!

Fantastic experience: The class was very thorough and has important and helpful information for defensive driving in this course. i take a defensive driving couse every 3 years to keep up on laws , regulations and proper driving habits. i appreciate the fact the this company makes it affordable without sacrificing quality.

Positive experience: Each page is timed, so even if you read (or follow the oral transcript) it won't allow you to move on to the quiz or next section before the "time" is up. In many cases the time "required" was almost double what it actually took to read/hear the entire section. I paid for the "oral transcript" ($5.00) but on almost all of the sections it just quit part way through, and then needed to complete the section without the aid of the oral. If you press the wrong button it goes back to the beginning of the section, requiring the entire time to cycle through again. Very frustrating and no refund was provided.

Negative experience: I took this course to learn about safe driving and earn a certificate to lower my auto insurance premium for drivers 55+. The course had good information but the training process was ridiculous. The course made you wait up to 53 minutes . . . that's right, nearly an hour . . . to advance the web page to the next section, when the reading material on that page was maybe 10 minutes in length. I know the creators don't want students skipping ahead, but it took an entire day to take this course and there was absolutely no need for that. It's a waste of time for the small discount on your insurance.

Negative experience: I was completely offended by this course which took me days to complete because it forced me to take extended periods of time to read a paragraph of information. It also required annoying breaks and treated me as if I was not an intelligent person due to my age. It said that when I need to give up driving that I can allow another, younger, person to use my car in exchange for taking me places. According to AAA, My age group of 60 years old is statistically the safest driver. This course is not good and I don't save that much on my insurance by taking it.
