Experiencia fantástica: I have nothing but praise for Compass Driving Academy. I am an older driver who has suffered from severe anxiety behind the wheel for my whole life. Thanks to this driving school, I have finally, at the ripe age of 40, managed to get my driver's license. I even passed the test on my first try. This is a goal I did not think I would ever achieve, due to how bad my anxiety was. I cannot give enough thanks to this school, and Mr. Maurice in particular, for all the help I received. I did pay for additional drive time on top of the regular driver's ed classes, and it was absolutely worth it. If you are someone who is nervous about driving, I highly recommend getting private lessons through this school. Having a calm professional in the passenger seat, who has their own brake, does so much to ease the nerves. I don't think I could have done this any other way. Thank you so much to Compass Driving School. I truly cannot put into words how much you have helped me.

Experiencia negativa: Keep away from this school, they cancelled my lesson behind the wheel without letting me know, because they thought it will be better for me, I argued with them and sent them in email telling them not to cancel it again and I want to take the risk because I m the only one that cold loos if I don’t pass, but for my shack the night before the lessen I discover that they canceled it again without letting me know. Experiencia negativa: People were so rude over the phone. I had a few questions regarding the 3 Hour Alcohol and Drug program and they didn’t care to give me any information at all. They just hanged up the phone when I started to ask the first question. I would never get theirs services.

Experiencia fantástica: Great school! The owner is very involved and thoughtful of her students. They have an option to drive in an SUV for their official drive times which proves helpful to those who want to feel what it's like to drive in an SUV.

Experiencia fantástica: Very effective strategies when teaching parking and other behind the wheel lessons. The classroom portion was very fun because the instructors constantly communicate with all of the students to keep an engaged setting.

Experiencia negativa: This evening, an instructor from this "school" was driving a company vehicle in Owings Mills and decided he was too impatient to wait his turn at a stop sign--tailgating the vehicle in front of him without yielding to the next vehicle that was waiting, almost causing a collision between my car and this company vehicle. When I honked my horn, the instructor proceeded to give me the middle finger and finish his illegal driving maneuver, causing another near-collision. If this is the kind of behavior this company's instructors are exhibiting in clearly marked company vehicles... advertising a DRIVING ACADEMY....I would think long and hard about finding a different driving school! Update: the response from Compass about this being a mechanic driving is a blatant lie. This incident occurred on a Sunday evening, near the Metro Centre shops & restaurants, and the "mechanic" that was supposedly driving was wearing a suit. It was CLEARLY not a mechanic...unless there's some auto shop in the area now requiring their repair people to wear business suits & jackets while working on cars.

Experiencia fantástica: My son and daughter attended this school this past spring and BOTH PASSED the MVA test on the SAME day!!! Very good school with very good insructors :)
