Greenlight’s exclusive simulator-enhanced driver training program combines state-of-the-art simulator training with professional grade on the road instruction to deliver the most efficient and effective driver training available anywhere.

Starting with the simulator lets your teen build the foundational skills and experience they need before they get behind the wheel in real life. With Greenlight they can practice the dangerous, the difficult, and the scary in the safety of the virtual world, giving them the tools they need to be safer on the road from day one.

Our Chief Driving Officer, Josh Hurley, is a championship winning race driver, professional motorsports engineer and driving coach, and oh yeah, he also taught advanced driving for the US Special Forces! Building on this incredible body of experience we’ve developed a comprehensive training curriculum that goes far beyond other driver training programs. We don’t just “teach to the test”, we build better, safer drivers for a lifetime.

Our integrated, simulator-enhanced curriculum moves our students up the learning curve much more quickly than traditional driver training programs. Research has proven that simulators are an effective driver training tool, and we see the improvement everyday with our students in the sim and in the car.

Skills that were previously developed over years of driving experience can now be force-taught, measured, and iterated for maximum training benefit in a shorter amount of time.

This comprehensive program includes:✅ A CA DMV-approved online Drivers Ed course✅ Three (3) 1-hour simulator training sessions. Two (2) sessions to start*, plus one (1) more after the first in-car lesson, but if your driver needs more sim training before going to the car, We've Got Your Back at no extra cost! (Up to six (6) total sim sessions included).✅ Six (6) hours of personalized behind-the-wheel instruction. Delivered as four (4) 1 1/2-hour training sessions starting and ending at our Danville training center.
