6 HOUR BEHIND THE WHEEL TRAINING The Don-Tre Driving School 16 year old driver training program is designed for 16 year old students for obtaining the NJ learners permit. This course provides the minimum 6 hour behind the wheel training required by the state of NJ.

GET YOUR NJ DRIVERS LICENSE When you’re getting ready to take your NJ Road Test, Don-Tre Driving School will support you with our Road Test & Brush Up Service. A certified driving instructor will provide a review lesson and accompany you to the NJ road test.

DRIVERS ED CLASSROOM COURSE The Don-Tre Driving School 30-hour Driver Theory Course is a comprehensive driver education program for all first time drivers regardless of age. This courses includes all aspects of driver education, including strategies for safe and defensive driving.

For over 30 years, Don-Tre Driving School has been helping student drivers learn to drive safely and responsibly on NJ roads. We help both first-time drivers and licensed drivers alike develop or enhance the skills they need to save lives and prevent crashes. Established in 1988, by Don Carpenter, Don-Tre Driving School has been servicing new drivers in Union, Essex, Morris, Somerset, Middlesex and Ocean Counties ever since! Don’s son, Peter Carpenter, joined him in the business in 1999, and the father and son team has been working hard to grow the business and provide exceptional driving instruction and driver training to NJ teen drivers.
