Delaware Defensive Driving provides easy Basic and Refresher Defensive Driving Courses online exclusively for the state of Delaware.

The six-hour Basic and three-hour Refresher (also known as “Advanced”) Defensive Driving Courses offered through this site are exclusively for the state of Delaware. They are approved by the Delaware DMV and provide the maximum benefits for insurance discounts and point credit in accordance with Delaware law.

"In these difficult times, there is no reason any Delaware driver should not take one of these inexpensive courses when the benefit is a significant decrease in their insurance premiums."

Upon completion of the course, participants receive up to a 15% discount off the cost of auto insurance as well as a 3-point credit on their driving record. Delaware Defensive Driving has been providing both Basic and Refresher (aka “Advanced”) defensive driving courses since 1992. Based in Wilmington, Delaware over 132,000 certificates of completion have been issued to Delaware drivers over the last 30 years.

Defensive driving is now conveniently available on mobile, tablet or desktop computers. Complete the course in one sitting – or stop and resume later where you left off.

Experiencia fantástica: I have taken the refresher course every three years and each time I have enjoyed it. I have gained information from the course every single time. What’s more I absolutely love the way the D Team presents the material. I wish every single driver on the road (in all states not just Delaware) took this course. Driving is a privilege not a right and should not be taken for granted or done without respect. As well I wish drivers could appreciate that they are operating a potential weapon (large moving objects that can cause harm and death to self and others). Out of all the numerous online courses and training I have taken over the years in various subjects, I like this online course the best because of the way it is presented. I wish my CLEs used a similar model to educate and help their students retain their material. I highly recommend this course.

Experiencia fantástica: I really enjoyed the online Defensive Driving Refresher Course provided by the Delaware Defensive Driving, Inc. It is easy to sign-up. The price is reasonable, more discount for family members. The course went well enough that we were able to finish the course within 3 hours 20 mins. We hope the refresher course will enable us to continue reducing our car insurance.

Experiencia positiva: I was thoroughly entertained and educated by this course. Having the option to read, listen to or watch the material was great (I watched the videos) and was actually surprised when the course was done and let me download the certificate right away. Excellent course.
