Experiencia negativa: Poor customer service and when you make the payment for lesson they don’t contact you or follow up. The calls go straight to voicemail. And if you do hear from someone it is 3 weeks later. They basically stole your money and would claim you did not respond to a notice which is a lie

Experiencia fantástica: Matt was incredible! He helped my son get his license suspension due to two traffic tickets cleared almost immediately. He was responsive, supportive, and even took the time to call me and walk me through the process. He went above and beyond to ensure my son could drive to school.

Experiencia negativa: Northwestern Driving School took my payment of close to $600 on May 28, 2024, for the Adult 10-hour driving program, telling me that in order to get myself a spot on the waitlist, I needed to pay in full. Weeks, and then months go by, and I am not contacted by a single driver to start lessons. It took In August, after a long call history and several ignored emails, I asked Northwestern for my money back. EDIT (9/10/24): It took several emails and Yelp reviews to get my refund, but happy and relieved to say that I've finally received it. I really wish it hadn't taken this much anger and effort to get my money back.

Experiencia fantástica: Although I had I had a few administrative issues Matt worked extremely hard on getting those issues resolved. I truly appreciate all of the effort made on our behalf and Matt going over and beyond to make me, the customer, happy. I also appreciate the STELLER customer service, responsiveness, and ease that GUS showed my daughter (and me) during her behind the wheel driving lessons. Gus is truly a gem! Thanks to your entire team for all that you do. My daughter is now able to obtain her license and we have your driving school to thank for that!!!

Experiencia negativa: I would like to start off by saying my child did get their driver's license and is a cautious driver, however, the path to get here was a bit challenging working with Northwestern Driving School. I chose this school because of the positive online reviews, but our experience was anything but positive (from the parents' point of view). From what I understood, classes were supposed to be held on Tuesdays AND Thursdays. In reality, some weeks they had class just on Tuesdays, some weeks just on Thursdays and some weeks both days of the week. It seemed it was dependent on when the instructor was available. We never knew if it was going to be a 1 or 2 day a week classroom day until the week of. So from the start things were unorganized. Scheduling driving time was also a challenge. I have another child who's currently enrolled in Driver's Education through their high school and experience has been easy and straightforward. Northwestern Driving school lacks organization and any type of customer service skills. I had high hopes and was excited to send my child to this school based on the great online reviews, but unfortunately our experience was not a great one.

They possess a wealth of knowledge and experience, which they effectively imparted to me during each lesson. Their patient and friendly demeanor made the learning process comfortable, allowing me to build confidence behind the wheel. The staff at the driving school were also incredibly accommodating, always ready to answer any questions or concerns I had.One notable aspect of Northwestern Driving School is their flexibility in scheduling lessons. They accommodated my busy schedule without any hassle, allowing me to choose convenient time slots. Moreover, the instructors were adept at adapting their teaching style to match my learning pace and style, ensuring personalized attention and progress.

Experiencia negativa: Bad experience. The classes were fine, but signing up for behind-the-wheel became an issue because this company was not responsive. It took more than a month for them to finally get it scheduled. We also had issues with reschedules. The biggest issue, however, was the fact that my daughter could not get her driver's license today because the Illinois Secretary of State didn't receive the certificate from Northwestern Driving School that she completed driver's ed. It takes long enough these days to schedule appointments with the IL Secretary of State, so we finally got one scheduled only to be completely let down because of this company.

Experiencia fantástica: Matt did an excellent job at helping me with whatever I needed or any questions I had. He went above and beyond to make sure I was left with zero confusion and very quick and convenient service provided I highly recommend this school for your driving education.

Experiencia fantástica: Our son took driving behind the wheel classes with John, who was fabulous and also was my husband’s driving instructor years ago! He’s a legend! Matthew was great chatting with on the phone and via email, the communication was great!! Thank you Northwestern Driving School for accommodating our schedule and fitting us in! Absolutely best option in chicago! We def will be back with our next two kids to learn to drive!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm proud to say that this driving school really amazes me. All my children attended this school. The instructor is very courteous and helpful with any questions I have with my teenagers appointments/driving. They're very direct and professional. I do recommend this establishment to anyone looking to learn how to drive. I told you guys I would eventually write a review! =) Dov
