Mr. J's Driving School

Experiencia negativa: Couldn't rate 0 because it doesnt allow. To keep it short, Mr. Jay was a horrible instructor to my son, he went to him for his permit and from the bat Mr. Jay was very impatient and rude with him. I'm just here to say my son went to another driving school, and only after a few more classes that he didn't get to complete with Mr. Jay because we took him out and put him in another school. And he went today for his road test with this other driving school and he PASSED. He did great so the issue was not him it was the instructor 100%. So if you're going to be an instructor do your job properly don't go pick up the kids with your seat all the way reclined back and have airpods in your ears, and then complain the kids are the issue, when they go to you for instruction because THAT IS YOU JOB and without these kids you'd be out of a job. To anyone that asks me i DO NOT RECOMMEND this school at all based on our experience. Can only speak from our experience. Now the new school he went to they were very professional, patiente and it shows because like I stated my son already has his license. He just had a bad instructor.

Experiencia fantástica: Great school, and Chak is amazing. As a holder of a foreign drivers license and with all experience driving in Europe, after reading U.S. rules I realized I needed true practice before the road test. On the first lesson, Chak told me to stop by a car and do a parallel park my way. I did so, and then he carefully explained why I would not pass if I did it that way with the inspector. He corrected all my mistakes and deliberately allowed me to keep things I got used to - because he did know what inspectors are checking and what is less important. Not only he showed me how to drive for the purpose of the road test, but also gave me great confidence, and found the words I needed e.g. "sell them your left shoulder" - which was my pain point as I got used to mirrors so much. Highly recommend this school. Passed the road test from first attempt right after Chak's classes.

Experiencia fantástica: Very intelligent friendly teacher. Took his time & thoroughly explained everything I did wrong so I could make a corrective action whether during the warmup or after my road test. As well as consistently gave pointers on how to do things better. Grateful for his time.

Experiencia fantástica: This business gives you the option to use one of their cars for the road test with a brief refresher if needed for the exam which is amazing for those of us who are older. My instructor was very communicative over emails and on the day of the exam provided excellent, easy to understand instructions and ways to remember things. This 35 year old woman is enormously grateful for all your help!

Experiencia negativa: I don't even know how to rate them, I made a call for the first time, I asked him if they speak Spanish, he said no, but he didn't have time to make my husband talk to him when they hung up on me with the word in their mouths.

Experiencia fantástica: Chak is a very good driving instructor. He is reliable, responsible and professional. Take it from a parent of a special needs child, this is not always the case. I would highly recommend Mr Js.

Experiencia fantástica: Chak of Mr. J's developed a lesson plan for our 29 year old son. The plan made a real difference in terms of knowing what to expect on the road test. Our son felt well prepared and was glad that Chak cleared him of his bad driving habits. We highly recommend Mr. J's.

Mr. J is THE nicest driving instructor around. He develops a personal relationship with you making it easier and more comfortable to drive. I FULLY recommend going to his school for your driving education.

Experiencia fantástica: As someone who's fear and anxiety over driving kept them off the road for some time - Mr. J never gave up on me. He kept me laughing so I couldn't focus on how nervous I was. I'm sure it took a lot of patience to deal with me, but he never showed it. With his help I earned my license...something I (or most of the people in my life) never actually thought could or would happen. Thank you, Mr. J!

When i was with him in his classes or on road lessons it didnt feel like school it was really enjoyable and hes very lienent and understanding and always finds ways to work around your schedule... I have nothing bad to say about him and his classes at all the class was a breeze and i passed no problem and the road lessons were fun... He didnt pressure you or yell or anything at all... Take your classes with Mr. J cause you wont find a better driving teacher out there
