Experiencia positiva: Mostly a good school. They allow you to sign up for lessons online, instead of over the phone, which younger people might prefer. (I know I did.) You can also pick your instructor, but it's pretty pointless when you aren't given any info about them prior. I've tried three different schools so far, and Hudson was the second cheapest (only due to providing 50 min lessons instead of a full hr.). Hudson's cars are a bit older and the pedals are REALLY sensitive. (I had to press the gas pedal very carefully so as not to jerk the car forward, but as a result, the instructors all kept telling me to hit the gas more - causing me to jerk the car.) (I would not want to use their cars for my test). Most of the instructors are easy to listen to and understand. Instructor 3 was friendly, but also brash and loud. They were not a bad instructor and they taught me some useful tips, but their teaching style is somewhat abrasive (like a 90's gym teacher). They grabbed the wheel suddenly when I did something they didn't like and they would give me several commands at once, then start shouting even though I was trying to slowly follow their instructions in order. I was confident in my driving skills until I had a lesson with this person. My anxiety while sitting next to them caused me to make mistakes I'd never made before. (Now my nerves are worse than before and I'm worried my examiner will have a similar personality. If they do, I will probably fail.) If I were to suggest Hudson to a friend or family member, I would tell them to pick instructor 1, 2 (or maybe 4) when signing up. (Unless they respond well to harsh instruction.) Unsolicited advice to Hudson: There should be a description of each instructor's teaching style when student's are picking their lessons.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom doesn’t speak English, but the instructors here were extremely patient, kind, and professional. From the very first lesson, they explained everything clearly, encouraged her step by step, and never lost patience even when she struggled. Within just one month of starting lessons, my mom successfully passed her driving test! What impressed us the most was not only their excellent teaching skills but also the care they showed — they even have the service, took her to the road test and gave her confidence before the exam. For someone new to driving and with a language barrier, this support made all the difference. We are so grateful for their dedication and warm attitude. Thanks to them, my mom is now a licensed driver, and our whole family truly appreciates it. Highly recommend this driving school to anyone, especially to those who might need extra patience and understanding.

Hudson driving centre is the best when it comes to the technical aspects of driving and morale boosting to prepare you ahead of the big task. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
