Badgerland Driver's Education

Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch may qualify to have their classroom and behind-the-wheel driver training for a Class D (Regular) driver license paid for through the Driver Education Grant Program.A new round of grant disbursements will begin on 10/27/25

ANY Teen, ANYWHERE in Wisconsin can take our affordable online program, and then take the Behind the Wheel portion of Driver’s Ed with a local provider.

The behind the wheel portion of the program consists of six two-hour partnered driving sessions. Behind the wheel sessions are scheduled by the students according to their own availability.

Behind the Wheel at Badgerland Driver’s Ed is only offered in the Central Wisconsin area, primarily providing services to students from Waushara, Adams, Marquette, Green Lake, Waupca, and Portage Counties.
