Experiencia fantástica: I took their 10 hr private lesson package and their instructors have been doing an amazing job! Instructors are very informative, patient and flexible on pick up location and schedule. The instructions on the road are clear and easily to follow. There is a progressive learning path each class and I have gained so much confidence over the course. I would highly recommend their instructors!

I now have my license (as of May 2021), and I owe it all to First Gear Driving School. I'm still in contact with the instructors and am very fortunate to of been able to learn from them! Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely loved First Gear Driving! I have major test anxiety, and I failed the first two driving test attempts. That's when I decided to look for some extra driving practice with a certified instructor. I signed up for some road practice with First Gear, and after the first lesson, it took the anxiety out of driving. My confidence, and road knowledge increased. I now have my license (as of July 2022), and I owe it all to First Gear Driving School. I want to thank Carl and Amber Ellis, and their whole team!

The instructors had the perfect personalities to work with teenagers; fun, firm, with clear expectations. Communication was excellent, consistent and timely. I highly recommend this school!

Wish the others had gone there. Carl and Amber do an awesome job and they really connect with the kids. Highly recommend this school!

Experiencia fantástica: I just finished my classes a month ago. The instructors were all very friendly and patient with me during our driving lessons. During class, we moved quickly, but had room for discussion and questions. They were very thorough, and I was pleasantly surprised when I took both the official written and road tests, as they had well prepared me for driving and road safety recall. I highly recommend First Gear, and thank them for all they have done to shape me into a safe and informed driver!

Experiencia fantástica: We drove 40 minutes so my son could take Driver's Ed at 1st Gear because we had heard excellent reports about the school. Both my son and I were pleased with all aspects of the class. He felt well-prepared and passed his written and road tests on the first attempt. He tested with about 10 others from him class and all passed. The instruction was organized, thorough and kept my easily-bored son engaged. The driving instruction was excellent, especially with owners/instructors Carl and Amber Ellis.

Experiencia fantástica: 1st Gear Driving was FIRST RATE! My son used 1st Gear last summer and the total experience was excellent. Driving school is EXPENSIVE and I'd heard too many stories from friends whose children had less-than-professional experiences elsewhere. I was wary, but 1st Gear exceeded my expectations. It was easy to sign up for driving times, the instructors ALWAYS on time and ready to go. Communications were always timely and clear. My son actually seemed to enjoy the classes and made friends. When it came time to get licenses, First Gear arranged a special time for the class to go together to the DMV. Amber from First Gear was there, cheering them on. We were almost sad to be done with it all! I HIGHLY recommend 1st Gear!

Experiencia negativa: Called 5 times phone answered once information given during that one call was incomplete and not very helpful. Left 4 messages trying to make a deposit they require 2 months later still waiting to be called back from first message.
