Because of the nature and risk associated with driving a motor vehicle and consistent with the requirements of the Kansas Driver License Bureau, Kennedy Driving Schools require that each student must demonstrate adequate proficiency in speaking and understanding English before any academic classroom or behind-the-wheel driving instruction can be provided. If English proficiency is a concern, please call our office to discuss the situation before submitting a registration or any payments (refer to our refund policy below).

Bill Kennedy, owner of the Topeka Driving School, Johnson County, and the Little Apple Driving School in Manhattan, has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University and a Masters Degree in Education from Washburn University. He has been a teacher for over 30 years and is owner of the largest driving school in the State of Kansas. His academic curriculum is centered around instruction for beginning drivers basic driving Fundamentals and defensive driving philosophies.

Experiencia fantástica: The driving instructor was really nice and really understanding of my 2 teens' needs. The in class training seemed to be thorough, my kids came home with lots of notes and questions about the rules of driving. There was a slight misunderstanding of what I was expecting from their driving experience but the school called and we worked it out. To me, that shows they really care which is very refreshing.

Experiencia fantástica: This is an amazing class with an even more amazing teacher! 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing to learn how to drive! ETA- I have now done the driving part of the class it was super simple & easy the driving Instructor came to me & picked me up ( & dropped me back off when we were done). The driving Instructor was super friendly & helpful 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: Both our children went to Kennedy Drive-Right School of Wichita and we had a great experience both times. They are very thorough with teaching the students and the class is taught by police officers (not sure if they are retired or active) but we appreciated that. We had worked with Kendall last year and Mark this year they both were professional, and extremely respectful of our time, they both did an excellent job. Thank you Kendall & Mark for helping our kids learn to drive safely!

Experiencia fantástica: I felt good about my daughter learning from a school that "does this all the time." Yes, she drives with other members of our family (to get in her needed hours), but we are NOT experienced instructors. Eugene made the classroom time interesting with his funny stories, and Mark was a friendly, experienced driving instructor. Thanks!
