It all started when my father Jim Meier opened our family’s driving school in 1978. I joined him in 2002 and taught for 20 years. Jim retired from his love of teaching after 44 years at the age of 74. We sold our driving school June of 2022, and I went into the corporate world to try something new. I quickly realized how much I love teaching and really missed giving driving lessons. That is when Safe Drivers Florida was born in December of 2022. I built this driving school around five principles:

I do not have any employees as I want to maintain the highest level of education and customer service possible. Know that when you contact me for driving lessons you will get the most consistent education because of this. There are no notes between multiple instructors or different teaching styles. Everything is to the highest standard and parents are welcome to ride along! I named the driving school Safe Drivers Florida, because that is what I produce, Safe Drivers!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Chris to any parents who are looking for a professional and knowledgeable driving instructor in the Wesley Chapel area. Chris instructed by fifteen year old daughter and he completely put my mind at ease and I felt confident she was in good hands. Chris always gave me a detailed account of what they went over and his observations of her driving. Thank you again Chris. We have appreciated all of your help!

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter just completed her first driving lesson with Chris, she stated that he was very nice, professional and that she was really comfortable around him. Which is very important when letting your child leave to go drive alone with someone they are just meeting She stated that he taught her a lot of road safety tips while driving. As a parent, my interaction with him was pleasant. He was kind and even came to the door and knocked to pick my daughter up for her driving lesson. I booked a total of 4 sessions for my daughter and I’m happy that it feels like money well spent!
