Students are able to receive their temps at the age of 15 and are eligible at the age of 16 or older for the probationary license when all the criteria are met.
The student still must hold their temps for a minimum of 6 months and be 16 years of age or older to get the probationary license after successful completion of a drivers ed program.
Students are required to have 50 hours of in-car practice with a parent/guardian; 10 of those hours need to be done during the hours of darkness/nighttime.
Learn the fundamentals of vehicle operation and the rules of the road in a safe and fun environment. Complete all Wisconsin-certified driver education courses online or in a traditional classroom setting. Then take your behind-the-wheel instruction at one of our convenient locations.
Income-eligible students will be able to take classroom and/or behind-the-wheel training from accredited schools like ours. The process is similar to the 2024 program. The student will enroll, and DMV will provide those eligible with coupons to present to authorized Driver Training schools.
Grant funding will be released on a quarterly basis. Each quarter, a portion of the total funds noted in the 2025-2027 biennial budget will be allotted to eligible students.
Students should visit the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Driver Education Grant Program to enroll. If they enroll but are not accepted for a grant this quarter, they should visit our notification list to be notified when the grant will be available again the next quarter. The notification list will be available when the grant is not.

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: Terrible instructors. Please have gas in your tank when someone gets picked up. I shouldn't be paying for an hour that includes fueling. Please take them out of Pulaski my son got no highway time with you. Please take them where there is a 1 way road. Teaching them by driving down the wrong side of the road is dangerous and unacceptable I don't care if you're a drivers ed car rules still apply. 6 one hour classes and you show up late. Had to prepare my son 100% by myself. Why did I pay you? Your reply doesn't even refer to my son. Must have happened to more than 1 person. You should have never told him he was ready for the road test, if you didn't feel he was safe enough for the highway. Also, he was not picked up at home he had to be back at school for a certain time. so no he did not receive any late time back. I see their reply was removed just want to clarify they stated my son was not safe enough for the highway. Yet they passed him.
We take pride in our work and prepare students for various situations and would not put anyone in harm’s way. Their safety is number one priority. On occasion students do participate by filling the gas tank which takes less than 5 minutes. During this time we discuss fuel mileage and how to calculate along with the reasons. There are many students that have never filled a tank before nor knew how to calculate mpg and the reasons of calculating. All students do receive highway time. When a student is uncomfortable and not able to maintain a constant speed of 35-40mph, I will not put them or others at risk. As part of the learning process, students have limitations and comfort levels and we would try again at another lesson, which we did. When students are picked up at home (and live a distance out like your son) and they are about the 6th or 7th student driving, there are times that a lesson may be pushed back a few minutes like your son’s was. That day there were other students ahead of him that were delayed for various reasons such as road construction, farm machinery on the highway, or the prior students were late to their lesson. I texted your son at 1pm to let him we would be there between 1:15-1:30 (his appointment was to pick up at home between 1-1:15) we pulled in at 1:20. He was picked up 5 minutes after the original time frame. He still received all his drive time. If you had a concern you could have reached out prior to the end of his completion.

2 years ago Experiencia negativa: the man at the school has been rude and is incompetent. He has stopped students from getting their lisence based on his opinion of their person instead of their ability to drive.
