Experiencia negativa: Worst driving school in the area. Nancy takes forever to get you lessons and when she does it’s a coin toss on if its going to get rescheduled or not. She takes her entire curriculum out of the handbook which although accurate information quickly becomes an avalanche of notes with no teaching happening from her and her son. You’ll do better going to Lund’s or Martin’s which get your license months faster.

Experiencia negativa: Pages and pages of notes verbatim and I didn’t learn a single thing until I actually started driving. Not a great learning experience.

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend this driving school AT all waste of money! Nancy has a lot of excuses on why she kept missing my sons days to drive! Her excuse next week and when the week comes she forgets and never shows up! Hard to get ahold of VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Willing to work around everything to fit you in which is great for people that work. Definitely wouldn't have passed the exam if it wasn't for her and the skills that she teaches!

Experiencia fantástica: I did driving lessons with Nancy last year before my driving test and she is just a delight! Very helpful, nice, and calming which is what I needed since I have anxiety. Even the person she sent out if she couldn't make it was nice and helpful! I'd definitely recommend Nancy and Bernard Driving School to anyone who asks. She's also very knowledgeable in other topics, so that was pretty cool.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional. The classroom sessions are long and boring and they don't show any videos because it's "too much work," and whenever you ask questions Nancy totally avoids the question and talks about how great her drivig school is or how great her son (NJ, he is also a driving instructor for Bernard's) is. The driving lessons aren't too bad but you end up going through bad parts of New Bedford a lot. Not reccomended whatsoever, not worth the 500 dollars needed to take the class. Learned more from walking through a crosswalk than I did from a driving lesson from this place. I failed my driving test because of things that they did not teach me, such as using your turn signal when leaving a parking space or checking blind spots *behind* you when exiting a parking space.

Experiencia fantástica: Ignoring all the arrogant responses. This driving school was very nice and I got through all of my work easily! The teacher is really kind and easy to get along with! Yes, the classes are boring and long, but they are required by law and state. So suck it up butter-cup, you gotta do it. In all seriousness, the driving instructors are really set on making you a good driver, and they also worry about your personal life. They'll talk to you, and they don't look down on you either. I loved my driving instructor and I still keep in contact with her.
