After teaching driver's ed, Josh made the jump to become a full time examiner with the Utah Driver's License Division. As a third party tester he has the ability to give tests more frequently.

All testers must have a valid Utah driver's permit or license, a vehicle with a valid registration to test in, and $65*. If applicable, all testers should have driver's ed completed.

Each driving skills test will last approximately 20 minutes. The applicant will demonstrate proficiency in seven driving maneuvers as well as general driving behavior. We are only able to offer the test in English.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call at least an hour before your scheduled time. Three no call/no shows will result in no further appointments being scheduled.

If you're not sure what is exactly required by the state, as far as driver's education, click the button to read the requirements on the state's site.

- Our tester does not speak Spanish and, therefore, cannot administer the test in Spanish. The state does not allow for a passenger so a translator is also not permitted.

- The state does not allow for two tests to be done in the same day, therefore, if you fail your first test, a second must be scheduled for a different day.

Experiencia fantástica: A huge thank you and shout out to Josh! I have pretty bad anxiety, but Josh was so patient, understanding, and kind. He took the time to explain every step of the process, and I felt very comfortable asking any further questions. Josh made sure to be informative as possible, and the road test was a much better experience due to it. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have him as my road test instructor. He gave amazing feedback after the test was over, and sent me on my way with clear instructions on how to get my license. Highly recommend this place and to get Josh!

Experiencia fantástica: Gets you in super fast and is super nice to nervous drivers. Had to take mine twice and I was scheduled within a few days both the first and second time. He explains your mistakes thoroughly and tells you tips on how to improve after each test. Super non-judgmental as well, doesn't make you feel stupid for making mistakes or failing. 10/10

Experiencia fantástica: This was literally the best when taking my road test! I passed on the first try, the car was very calm, Josh was very professional. As soon as we were in the car my worries melted away and he was very calm and collected when instructing. Your able to go pick up your license at the dld right after. By far would recommend to anyone else going through a 3rd party. Thank you so much!
