Experiencia negativa: Paid in full but she over booked the class….Would have been a great learning , experience and environment. HOWEVER I paid the 150$ , received my confirmation email and the instructor was in contact with me. When I showed up for class there was only 5 bikes and 6 students. She was unsure how it happened. Myself and a student decided to share a bike to try and make it work since we were all already there and PAID! Made it through Most of the class but class went over time and I still wasn’t able to learn the last exercises. I reached out requesting a make up for the material I wasn’t able to learn due to her over booking students. I received no email, no text or refund. I am bummed because it was a cool class, till it wasn’t. And I didn’t get what I paid for.
Kristi, to begin with, I am extremely sorry that the class was overbooked!!! I called you first thing Monday morning and left a message but you didn't return my call. When I texted you, you replied that you don't want to talk about this. You couldn't finish the last exercise because you had to leave. I did issue you a refund (minus PayPal fees). I am a little disappointed that you were unwilling to discuss your options because I enjoyed meeting you and having you as a student.
Experiencia negativa: My experience with this business has been overwhelmingly disappointing due to the owner’s lack of fairness and reliability. They canceled classes on me twice due to their own health issues, which I tried to accommodate. However, when I had a personal emergency, they refused to extend me the same understanding and kept my payment. Despite promising to follow up, it’s been months without any communication. This business seems more focused on keeping payments than on building supportive, respectful relationships with its clients.
Yovanka, schools sometimes have to reschedule classes. You rescheduled your first session (no fee), then I had to reschedule, and then you had to late cancel your session. The policy is that if a student cancels late or doesn't show up for class there is no refund and student would have to pay again. We talked a couple of times, and I offered you to pay 1/2 price ($75) to take the class. You said you can't afford it. Then I offered you to take the class on standby, if a seat is available on day of class you don't have to pay. It is the student's responsibility to contact the school to see if a seat is available.
My offer still stands.
Experiencia fantástica: I started riding last fall at age 61. Anne was the best teacher I could've wished for. Really careful, simple rules, thorough repetition, extremely safe as a result. I took all three classes, spaced by two weeks to slowly absorb each lesson.
Experiencia negativa: This is the worst course. There is no classroom. You sit outside in a group reading from a printed out packet most of the time. When you do get on a motorcycle it is on old motorcycles that are falling apart in parking lots that are too small to do any real maneuvers. The second parking lot for the B2 and B3 courses is also very run down with uneven surfaces and potholes everywhere. The instructor Anne also teaches unsafe practices. She tells the students it's more important to be comfortable when riding and that safety equipment does not really protect you. She said that helmets only protect the skull and not the brain. Implying they are not important and the only reason you need to wear something on your head is because it's required by law. She had the students wear gardening and mechanic gloves rather than motorcycle gloves and tennis shoes rather than boots. I refused and kept my motorcycles gloves and Harley Davidson boots on. She claims the gardening and mechanic gloves help you feel the clutch and throttle better and the tennis shoes help you feel the gears better. I think she was more worried about her cheap motorcycles breaking than about the safety of her students. A lot of the stuff she said during the course was very dangerous. I fear she is going to get someone killed. This course is also not an CMSP Motorcyclist Training Course(MTC). You will not earn a certificate for passing this course that you can take to the DMV to bypass the motorcycle driving part of the test. In fact, there is no pass or fail for this course. Basically, this course is a waste of time and money and is potentially very dangerous. Do yourself a favor and take a legitimate CMSP Motorcyclist Training Course(MTC).
Zaina, when you signed up for class you said you already took the CMSP course and got your license - but you didn't know how to shift yet!
Btw, you sent me a picture of your "boots" before class and I said OK. You were wearing HD hi top sneakers, which are not boots.
It turned out you needed more than practice shifting. Despite the fact that you already had your motorcycle license, and we read and discussed how to mount and dismount, and I then demonstrated on a motorcycle how to mount and dismount you fell down when you dismounted in the second session. I can imagine you felt quite humiliated to fall down in front of everyone else. Up until then you had a lot of fun and even told me so. To then turn around and leave a nasty review because you forgot to check your kickstand when you dismounted makes me question if you have the right mental attitude to be riding a motorcycle.
Experiencia fantástica: Great people. They really care about you
